Excellent restaurant in a perfect place. Just right in the boulevard of Baku. You can easily access to the place. Hhighly recommend to make a reservation to spend an amazing evening and enjoy delicious meals. The place is good for group of friends or a couple. You can enjoy your evening inside or on the terrace. They offer local and European cuisine, but keep in mind that almost every meat dish includes lamb, if not specified. But barely you'll find only beef options (chicken dishes have variety). Highly recommended for the service and ambience they offer.

Absolutely the best meal we had in all of Baku. The door is a bit difficult to find as it's on the side of the building facing away from the waterfront. But once you do, it's fabulous! We started with appetizers of the pickle plate and smoked fish assortment. Just an awesome combination. Then we had the fish soup which was just perfect and plenty hot. There's not much more disappointing than luke warm soup. After those we had dinners of the beef liver kebabs and marinated lamb. Both were done to perfection. The basket of assorted breads was a welcome accompaniment to everything. The sparkling water and beer were very cold. Coffee at the end was delicious, as well. We would have tried a dessert or two but there was no room left! We splurged but the total bill was only 116 m, or about $60USD. Very reasonable for a top quality, upscale restaurant. This is not a drop in and eat quick place. The menu is a full color hefty book to look through. Take your time.

Superb place. A lot of options, everything looks very good. We choose a couple of starters and mains, a great bottle of wine and desserts. Service was superb, great recommendations, a lot of honesty in the questions to our answers, really beyond your great service experiences. The restaurant is on a building where there is also and Italian place and another restaurant on the ground floor, not sure how these seem this one is on the 2nd floor.

We came to Sahil on Tuesday at around 4pm when the restaurant was almost empty. As a result we had a freedom to pick any table we wanted to sit at. The servers were very attentive and accommodating. We tried various dishes from soups to appet6, to main courses, and everything was perfectly cooked, and well seasoned. I guess Sahil's chef really knows how to cook, and does it really well. This restaurant has a beautiful decor, and with such an excellent food it can be a perfect place to celebrate various occasions at. I highly recommend visiting this place to try an authentic local cuisine.

This place was featured in a Natgeo documentary film about Baku. I decided to check it. Interior is modern beautiful upscale. Service was outstanding (best I experienced during my 7-day stay). Food was great, it’s a local cuisine.
