I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and hassle-free, and the staff warmly welcomed me upon arrival. The breakfast offered at the hotel was decent, although there is room for improvement in terms of variety and quality. One highlight of my stay was the Tea room on the second floor, which left a lasting impression with its elegant ambiance. The room itself was clean and comfortable, and the breathtaking view of the entire city from my window was truly remarkable.

Stunning hotel with incredible views but the service is shocking. Someone with access to our room (presumably a staff member) stole my bank details and tried to carry out a series of transactions over 4 different cards I had left in the room (luckily my card companies caught it early). When it was reported to the hotel they completely ignored my email. If you stay here ensure ALL your valuables are kept in the safe in the room.

We are an elderly couple in our early 60s from Pakistan. Our stay is here for 3 nights 13 to 16 Oct, 2022. The most amazing and breath taking experience is the sea view from our room on 17 Floor. The staff was extremely friendly and courteous and kind to upgrade our city view room. The room was exceptionally clean and its provided with a bath tub too. The breakfast was too yummy 😋 with countless food varieties. The supervisor was too keen to serve dedicatedly and truly hospitable person. The swiming pool and spa located on 5th Floor is value addition to the price we paid. The bar on 17th floor is brillant and the view is owesome. The staff is truly friendly. We would highly recommend travelers visiting Baku to stay Fairmont 😀 😊 and make a lifetime experience. Customer experience is what matters and Fairmont hotel made this difference in our lives!!! Overal it was a once in a life time experience to stay in the Fairmont Flame towers. We enjoyed the atmosphere, stunning view in the bar, excellent staff and spacious room with ultra comfortable beds However the hotel is like some other projects in the city not wel maintained. In the Spa: towels on the beds are being reused for all guest, broken handrail (unsafe), permanent stains on the carpets, mold and rust throughout the Spa. I stayed there for an afternoon and did not see any staff in the pool area to check or do the cleanliness. I’m used to other standards. In the room: permanent stains on seats and desk, limed taps and old light system. in a 5 star hotel I expect not only that the staff is helpful and friendly, but that the quality of the materials and the cleanliness are also in order. sad feelings afterwards, next time I will take another hotel in town.

Brilliant Hotel. I stayed in one of the suites and it was impeccable. The pizzas are really good. Some of the cocktails on the poolside are really good. I loved the unique grand piano in the lobby. The room was spacious and nice, and the view from the room was amazing (and as a bonus: during the day it was possible to open part of the window and let in fresh air!). Breakfast had a huge amount of options and stellar service. The staff was super nice. The hotel gym is fully equipped (probably the best gym I ever saw in a hotel), and there is a large pool and spa for hotel guests. After you are done with your day, the Bar on the 19th floor is very comfortable. The only tiny minus was a very outdated entertainment system in the room - you can watch one of 6 channels if it works. The panel to connect your own device was broken, TV was locked to an ancient hotel system. Other than that, everything was perfect.

The hotel is huge and divided into two towers. We were on the club level and had a beautiful suite with great views. The lounge had a wonderful ambience and great choices of items. Having breakfast here was a lovely experience as compared to the crowded restaurant. However nothing much next to the hotel and you need to take a taxi.

Superb service by Nurlan at reception, patiently answering all our queries, providing an upgrade and showing us personally to our room...and what a room! The best sea and cityscape imaginable! Location-wise the hotel is up and away from the thick of it, but the pay off is the quiet, with a 15 mins walk / 5 mins funicular ride back to town. Recommend for a special occasion.

Absolutely outstanding service. I had a night flight and, instead of having me sit and wait for the standard check-in time in the lobby, I was generously given a room early in the morning. Both the lobby and the room are incredible. The menu suits even a vegan (honestly, they cater to everything), and the staff are genuinely caring. I will be making more stops in Baku in the future and Fairmont is now my only choice. I love it.

The hotel was amazing! We booked our last night in Fairmont Hotel Baku (Flame Towers) after our 2nights in Old City (May 08-09, 2023) as we wanted to have a great time on our last night in famous hotel. Everything went well, they are able to grand our request to upgrade us to seaview room (2313) but the lady who assisted us during check-in was not that nice. We waited for the room to be ready for more than 2hrs after the standard check-in time. She said wait for 10mins for 3x and another 5mins before she gave us our room. When we entered the room, they surprised me with a cake with birthday greetings as I was celebrating my birthday in Baku and fruit basket (thanks to my friend Kim😉). I understand why it took a little longer. Everything went well until the evening came, when we are sleeping we noticed that there was some uncommon sound evrytime the wind is coming but since I was a bit drunk I didn’t mind it until around 4am when I was suddenly woke up because of the lound sound like knocking (banging) in our glass window. I realized that there was a strong wind but it continued for a while and I wasn’t able to go back to my sleep. It was really a very disturbing sound banging every after minute that I couldn’t really go back to my sleep. I went to reception to ask why is ou room has this kind of sound and told them to check if they can transfer us to different room as we haven’t had enough sleep. Luckily they have available room (1112) and let us used that room to continue our sleep (thanks to the duty manager). I hope you will be able to check what was that sound in our room as we worried that the window glass might brake and cause some inconvenience to your next guests. I also called the attention of the reception regarding the rain shower in our room as the water drops was very less and it is very hard to turn on the shower (too thight). They came to check and the rain shower was done but not the other concern. Here comes the breakfast, we were very surprised when we saw the selection of the food. Majority is for indian guests where there was a lot of indian having breakfast. It was not a typical breakfast of Fairmont Hotels as we tried several fairmont hotel international. I was a bit dissapointed as it could be much better to have more selection for non indian guests too. Seems that they are giving more prioroty to the in-house groups. I hope they are fair to all the guests. All in all, our stay was still good as we are able to used the other hotel facilities like indoor swimming pool, jacuzi, sauna & steam rooms and the gym which I never skip when I am staying in fairmont hotels. I can still recommend to stay in Fairmont Hotel Baku (Flame Tower). Thank you for the memorable experience though.

Good hotel of 5 stars. All is impressive. Security check at entrance is annoying and not welcoming. No car door opening or welcome outside. CheckIn was friendly but reservation was cancelled due to late arrival. Not so good. Room is big with 50 sqm really big. View seaside is astonishing. Room has separate toilette, bathroom with large shower and bathtube and two sinks. Walk-in closet and all you need in amenities. The bed is a bid to hard, Aircondition is not working well, water pressure is very low and it is far too loud in room. Loud music noise is coming I guess from own bar in the high floor. We were in floor 18, bar is in 19th floor. Window blinds don’t work well (too bright). Service at bar in 19th floor is inattentive and slow. Prices are far too high. No turndown service, used amenities were not filled up again, water only.

In this hotel either you sleep on 26 degree temperature or you sleep on 5 degree with an open window and windy sound I feel like punished for being a guest in this state of art rooms because of the climate control which they didn’t fix and asking me to move to at 4:30 AM The breakfast is full of selection although service is bad waiting more then half an hour for my egg taking in consideration that only 3 tables occupied . another room at 4:30 AM , one of the worst experience o have ever had .

Highly recommend staying at The Flame Hotel. Excellent service from the start. We got the Gold room upgrade which I would highly recommend. We did have the city views which gave us spectacular sunsets every evening. The spa is amazing and the food of a very high standard. Thank you Fairmont Flame Hotel for making our first visit to Baku an unforgettable experience.

Actually a very nice hotel with good staff, great spa plant and views of Baku. The rooms were also very beautiful and big. But when we were there, there were some delegations from Central Asia, the associated security personnel was very unkind. It was very impractical to come into the building. We had to wait and join a queue with our heavy luggage to come in. After that, a security dropped our camera bag, luckily nothing broken. A really nice hotel. Location is great, because it's really close to city center and old town. It has taxis in front of the hotel at all times, so it is really easy to go anywhere. We from hayat regency to fairmount flame tower hotel . Me and my aunt came at saturday night there was person in the reception called umidvar he was so nice and very kind person and so welcoming. So we make the reservation . On sunday we did the check in it was so fast my aunt didnt like the view room he changed it for us. No words can describe the hotel , A very beautiful and unusual hotel, located in the flame towers on a hill with spectacular views of the city and the sea . The most luxurious hotel! The most luxurious design and finishing materials, amazing service and courteous, excellent rooms and clean. New bathroom. You cant compare with any hotels in the world apart from the hotels in vegas . The breakfast was so delecious . The hotel has inside and outside swimming pool . Spa center was The staff in the break fast was so nice especially sabina and murad . And special thanks to shahin for the fast check out .

The 15 minute or so walk to the centre helps walk off some of the indulgences and you soon get used to it. Alternatively you can use the funicular or take a car. I loved the spa on the 5th floor with an indoor pool and two large spa pools. Also the dry and wet sauna and all this overlooks the whole view of the Caspian Sea. Although we only experienced the goodness of the staff and the beauty of the hotel views and amenities but also we experienced some discomforts inside the hotel premises. We left the Hotel last January 3, 2020. The goodness based on our experiences in this hotel are the personnel are very friendly in the reception desks and every where they smile when we meet them, the luggage boy was very attentive to ask if we still need some help in some other things. Then when became our room at 3 pm we hurriedly rushed in to relaxed because we were tired from our travel. Another thing that impressed us was bec we were in a hurry to come inside our room we forgot my Winter Coat outside which i hanged in one of the Lobby's corner Couch. It had stayed their surely more than 3 hours already . When i noticed that my cellphone was gone i remembered i placed it in my Winter coat and my Coat is not in the room so i tried to recall that it might be left anywhere in the lobby, so i rushed in going downstairs to the lobby and i luckily found my Coat still hanging in one corner Couch. My husband said: "You see no one is stealing your Coat here. They are honest." Yes that's true because my Cellphone was still in my Winter coat too! Another incident: my husband forget one bag where we sat to drink a cup of coffee in the Balcon Cafe. When i started to pack our Luggage i remembered we have had a paper bag from United Colors of Benetton with two hats inside. When i come back the following day and told the Male personnel about my lost bag he handed it back to me after describing what was in. Therefore, i can say they are honest in this way too. The Beauty we experienced in this Hotel are the Amenities: Our room was 60 sq m big. with wide range of City Center View. I took pictures of the Caspian Sea View i just went to the 28th floor by elevator. The room has everything what a 5 star hotel offers. Everything is in order and clean. They serve 4 bottles of 0,5 l still water every day. We told to the cleaning lady not to clean our room because we wanted our privacy but she still cleaned the room which is positively understandable anyway. Everything that has something to do with mechanisms inside the rooms are functioning well except the WIFI is not stable in providing us internet access. It get lost sometimes that we have to reconnect again and again. Until my husband went with his Laptop in the Lobby to connect it for us. They gave us 24hrs connection. ( OMG why not just giving us the exact Password!!) They said when we come in we are automatically connected. No password needed. Then in the TV not much English and German Channels to see.( Anyway these are only small things to complain about). another negative comment is about the luggage management. They are not well keep in the safe space. They are here and there in the lobby area. The rest are satisfactorily met as expected in a 5 stars hotel. So i planned to visit this Hotel again.
