Good pool, good music, plenty of sunbeds

Located in beautiful sea shore and with rich menu, the restaurant lacks of service training and food etiquette. Be careful with prices also. They may not match those on menu. Overall bill may exceed what you order around 20 Manat per person.

I did not eat anything here, but went just to arrange a party. The staff was not so kind and helpful. Prices are high as well. Eventually I decided on SeaBay. Try that restaurant

During the summer months, this place opens a beach club. There are two pools, with sun beds and big umbrellas. The access is 30 azn including towel deposit. The place is very clean and pleasant. Beautiful territory with palms and sea view. Food service to your sun bed, including burgers, fries, salads, cocktails and fruit. The minus is too loud disco type music which doesn’t really help the relaxation. The sun beds don’t have mattresses on them. Also, getting a taxi on return for the city is a bit complicated. The place is about 20 mins by taxi from the city center.

I took private room The staff was sluggish, the meal was of terrible quality, and when we asked why, they claimed that their kitchen was backed up, despite the fact that the place was almost deserted.finally I ordered rice and chicken soup . The staff have a communication problem but the lady who hosted us was very polite. I do not recommend this hotel. They lack hospitality

Nothing is special about this place. Not the scenery, not the food, and definitely not he waiters (who by the way, just lost a race to a turtle). Waiters here are astonishingly rude and so slow/cold blooded. This is a very good "patience test". Certainly not worth the long drive from Baku. Firuze Restaurant (on Nizami St.) wins easily.

We are not allowed to have a lunch with my family outside of restaurant because I had weared shorts. The waitress told that this is a command from the owner of restaurant and he is muslim.

The worse ever service. Zero customer service level. Very rude and lazy staff. I tried to order americano while in the pool and went to the bar but was told to ask the waiter. When I found the waiter, he told me they don’t have coffee but then sent to Senator restaurant where I was also told to find a waiter bear the pool. It’s a magic circle. They don’t need customers and their money. Much easier to sit in the shade and wait for the end of the working day.

Nice place with fresh seafood, especially fish of course. Service could be better and more organized, but atmosphere and food leave positive feeling anyway.

Highly recommended for sea food but issue is language.

I loved the private room we were dining in. It even had its own bathroom. The service was very professional and the foods were good.

We were with a large group and asked for shared food for the table. They took advantage of us not counting specifically what was on the table, and overcharged us for everything while we couldn't verify the bill properly. We know we were overcharged because we sat with the same group at other restaurants, ate similar food and paid half the price. Feeling cheated. Avoid.

20 manat per person, then you go in 2 manat charge for every drink you buy which is disgrace. Life guard seats on the shade whith his tea and shouts what to do. Pool falls a part, small tile bits everywhere in pool floor. Very dull place, never again

Nice but restaurant by the sea side. We went for fish dishes. They have a variety, but costly and ordinary by quality.

Pros: -Good food -Good environment - Not crowdy -Place is calm Cons: -Too expensive - Low quality service, waiters are hiding. No one is checking u - Hard to find parking place on peak times

We booked a table in advance at this place and we had high expectations, as we were recommended this place by our close friends. We didn't like it at all that they made us wait for water and drinks for about an hour, I'm not even talking about the dishes themselves. We had no time to drink wine, as the waiter grabbed a half-full glass. We didn't finish the dishes and went dancing, after we came back they were also taken away from the table. We then checked the bill and were charged 6 more salads than were on the table. At the end of dinner we ordered wines and waited about 45 minutes for them too. 4 times reminding the waiter of each order. The atmosphere and the place itself looked fine, except for the dirty windows overlooking the sea. And the attitude of the waiters left much to be desired. 3 out of 10.

Amazing place for sea food lovers, facing Caspian Sea

Great combination of the quality vs. price.

Just finished a dinner at Nar & Sharab. This is the 3rd or 4th time I have been here in three years... and unfortunately the first time I have had the trout. The trout was cooked perfectly by somebody that knows their way around a fish with bones. The fish was probably 9 inches in length which made for a light dinner (I have packed on a few pounds so I was looking for light). I ate the fish with not a care in the world for bones and only one time did I get a bone in my mouth, and that was at the dorsal fin which I knew would have bones. The taste was perfect. I also had the shrimp and avacoda salad (at the reference of the waiter) and it was tasty. Thin on shrimp and avacado, but a great greens salad with a homemade dressing that I want to term as "citrus." The view from the restaurant is perfect. For those visiting Baku on vacation, spend the extra 15 minutes and manat to get to the Bibi Heybat area... it is relaxing after the bustle of Baku and you cannot go wrong with any of the restaurants behind the mascid. Nar & Sharab is one of the more famous and the price reflects that... but I can honestly say the trout was the best I have had of any of the fish restaurants at Bibi Heybat. Lastly, Nar & Sharab is more upscale than the other places in the area, so an elegant evening can be had if that is your desire. They also have private dining rooms for a more intimate setting. And, of course, the service is a high caliber as expected. So, I give Nar & Sharab a 4 star, just shy of a 5 star. Good food, good service, good ambience. I would have given 5 stars but the lack of escort from the entrance to the dining area (down and up stairs) needs to be rectified.

Excellent place for a day when you are ready to spend lavishly and enjoy yourself by the pool or in the restaurant. Food was amazing, lover the kebab (tike).
