This is one of the best points to get a good view of the whole city & Caspian Sea. There are several small attractions created in the park. No Entrance Fees is required, it is free of cost to visit the park. The best time to visit is 6 P.M so you will have both the day and night view. Both the views are lovely and worth watching. Plus, this is the place from where you can see the Flame Towers standing tall right in front of you.

After taking the funicular we reached the Highland park. As soon as you mount the steps above, strong gusts of wind envelope you and one experiences the best view of Baku. You can see all the beautiful buildings along the seaside promenade and beautiful view up close of the flame towers.

The park is built at the most ideal location - at the highest point of Baku and hence offers a fantastic panoramic view of Baku City, Baku Boulevard, Baku Bay, Unesco sites the Shirvanshahs Palace, Old Town of Baku, and the Maiden’s Tower, and iconic buildings such as the Flame Towers and the Crescent Hotel. The park itself has spacious stairs, shady alleys, and cozy terraces, perfect for chilling and relaxing

There were a lot of stairs to walk, and you would then reach a beautiful destination. 😍 There was a huge and beautiful panoramic view of the whole entire Baku city. You can see the Deniz Mall, Baku Eye, and the Caspian Sea. Turn around, and you'll see the infamous Flame Towers.

It's very beautiful place to see in Baku. The flame point is amazing. One gets a very large view of the city and from top. But it's very high breeze area and one must carry a wind cheater if visiting in the evening. There are many photography points in the area particularly the fire building and the mosque.

You cant miss this place if you are in Baku. This gives an amazing view of city. Its near famous flaming towers. There is a monorail which takes you up on the mountain at very economical price. The park is amazing and when you reach viewing deck it’s breathtaking. I suggest to go before sunset so that you get day light view and then evening view as well. There is a restaurant there as well. Not to forget there is a beautiful mosque up there as well which is for Sunni sect and made in Turkish style.

(Translated by Google) Located in the very center of Baku, Dagustu Park, a favorite vacation spot of locals, has long been considered one of the most beautiful parks in the capital. Another popular name of the park is the Viewpoint. During the Soviet era, it was named after political figure Sergei Kirov. What makes the mountain park unique is that it offers a beautiful panorama of the city, Baku Bay, and the Seaside National Park. This explains why the park is called Mountain. Back in the 30s of the XX century, when preparing the master plan of Baku, this fact was taken into account and it is expected that the Mountain Park created in these places will play an important role in the overall architectural composition of the capital. The park was built on the site of the old cemetery using colorful limestone from Baku quarries, designed by architect L.A. Ilyi. By the way, another old name of the park is associated with this cemetery - English Park. It is said that in the 1920s, along with the victims of the March 1918 events, British soldiers who came to Baku after the overthrow of the Russian emperor were buried here. Lev Ilyin skillfully used the features of the complex relief of the area where the park was built. Alleys and terraces connected with stairs and ramps, viewing areas are in harmony with the view of Baku Bay. From the upper floor of the cafe, built in a mountain park, you can see the view of Baku and the Caspian Sea. The park is connected to the city's Azneft Square by a Baku funicular. The Mountain Park houses the Museum of Independence of Azerbaijan and the Alley of Martyrs, where the victims of January 1990 and those killed in the Karabakh war are buried. As there is a cemetery in the park, it is quiet and there are no noisy attractions. Deyilənə görə, ötən əsrin 20-ci illərində burada 1918-ci il mart hadisələrinin qurbanları ilə yanaşı, Rusiya imperatorunun devrilməsindən sonra Bakıya gələn ingilis əsgərləri də dəfn edilib. Lev İlyin parkın salındığı ərazinin mürəkkəb relyefinin xüsusiyyətlərindən məharətlə istifadə edib. Pilləkən və pandusla əlaqələndirilmiş xiyaban və terraslar, baxış meydançaları Bakı buxtasının mənzərəsi ilə harmoniya təşkil edir. Dağüstü parkda tikilmiş kafenin yuxarı mərtəbəsindən Bakının və Xəzərin mənzərəsini müşahidə etmək olar. Parkı şəhərin Azneft meydanı ilə Bakı funikulyoru birləşdirir. Dağüstü parkda Azərbaycan İstiqlal Muzeyi və 1990-cı il Yanvar qurbanlarının və Qarabağ müharibəsində həlak olanların dəfn olunduğu şəhidlər xiyabanı yerləşir. Parkda məzarlıq olduğu üçün burada sakitlik hökm sürür, səs-küylü attraksionlar yoxdur.

One of the best viewpoints of Baku and it can easily be considered one of the top spots among global viewpoints offering 360 panaromic views of the city. It's a dream for photography lovers. It is huge, very well planned and extremely clean like all of Baku. The only thing to keep in mind is that it is too windy at the top. The wind pushes you around and it's very easy to lose your belongings due to the wind pressure. There is Manzara restaurant at the top, which is just ok in terms of food and service, but if you want to sit around and stay away from the wind for a bit then it serves the purpose. There is a martyrs lane here as well remembering lost soldiers of the past and a sight with burning flame.

Highland park, well known as ‘’Viewing Square’’, and earlier in Soviet era as ‘’Sergei Kirov park’’ is one of the most favourite places in Baku to have walk, rest, and enjoy the sea view. There you can take rest by breathing fresh air, viewing the city, drinking tea in the Highland Park Café , while listening to the classic lounge music. It’s the best place to relax, that is located right in the heart of Baku Visit this park at night time, because of the amazing lighting on the stairs to the Highland park! And also on hot summer days and nights you can feel there cool, and a bit windy There is mosque next to it.

Another Beautiful place to visit. Parking is more challenging so public transport or taxi (BOLT is cheap snd reasonable) ask your hotel front desk they have app for BOLT. No handicap access. All stairs. Beautiful view of city. Amazing place for tourist and visitors. They have peofessional photographers offer their services. Discuss price and number of pics first else they will ocer charge ans make so many pics that you have to pay for it. But good quality work. No public washeooms around so be prepare before come. Must visit Graveyard of those civilians who secrifize their lives.

Highland park baku is so beautiful and it is located at top of the city. From the highest point of the baku city it is marvelous view. For highland park you have to go through funicular. It is also know as viewing square. It is recommended when you are in Baku.

Picturesque setting but not too much to see after the Flame towers and beautiful mosque. Lacking proper coffee shops and restaurants.

  • 5/5 Joseph M. 4 years ago on Google
Wonderful views. Go to a nice walk between the martyrs of Azerbeijan war history, very impressive and massive, they really know how to respect them. At the end you will find the tomb temple, which is magnificent. Sometimes they lit the fire in the temple and its crazy, but we didn't see it. After enjoying the breathtaking view and the nice memorial, we took a walk to the near by mosque and the flame towers. We sat at the Fermont hotel - one of the three flame towers - coffee and enjoyed a nice view from another angel. In google it says the flaming tower lit at 20:00 but actually it lits at 19:00

It's at the Highest peak and you can see the entire Baku from here. The view of the entire Baku city from Highland Park is just Mesmerizing. Once you finish looking at the view you need to walk down some 50 stairs to come and walk down the well lighted Stairs and the view from Bottom to Top of the Stairs is just so soothing to your eyes. Lovely place to spend time after Sunset to get the best possible view & pictures of the City.

Upland or highland park is the best place to visit in Baku. Form there one can have the Panoramic view of Baku and the famous flame towers. The monument is also located there. From observation deck, beautiful view of Baku can be experienced during day time and night time as well as it is peak point of Baku.

Perfect spot for sunset or sunrise, overlooking the city of Baku, restaurants available too, visitors can enjoy walking around and visit the martyrs line (historic location in Baku)

Here is One of the most iconic spot around Baku. You can get the view of city for top. It has a restaurant and plenty of sitting around. It's really worthy to visit and get all those photos of Baku 😂 a photographer is on site also, very friendly and helpful.

  • 5/5 Oyesola O. 1 year ago on Google
The view here is to die for. You see the whole of Baku from the top. The Caspian Sea on one side, the city on another and a closer view of the flaming tower. The 175 steps was worth it 🙂

  • 5/5 Elnur M. 1 year ago on Google
Highly recommend to visit highland park. The view of city from the park is excellent. You'll feel city under your feet, city beneath it's great. You'll feel touching flame towers. View of Baku boulevard and Caspian sea is something that it's hard to explain with words. You need to experience the place to understand what I describe. To conclude with a single word. It's "Excellent".

This park is just opposite Flame tower.Entire city can be viewed from this place and that too free of charge. Must visit place in Baku. Memorial's of soldiers who lost their life are build here and there is a flame always burning inside the park as well to pay respect to their sacrifice. Overall a great experience

5point Review Activity Duration: 30 - 60 minutes Rating: 8/10 If you are in Baku then this place is a must visit for some great views of Baku 1. The Good: Some spectacular views. You can walk up the stairs or take the train up. The views are totally outstanding. You can see whole of Baku from her. Boulevarde, Flametowers, Caspian sea and all of Bakus beautiful buildings. Cool breeze in summer months is so soothing. There is also a monument for martyrs here 2. The Not so Good: Nothing in particular 3. The Wow Factor: If you have limited time in Baku then just come here to see the whole city. Take pics of the flame towers in evening with flames burning on the tower. The whole scenery, The modern and old city, artistic building and the views of Caspian sea, is picture perfect. 4. Money Matters: Free of cost unless you take the train up for 1 Manat or dine in the restaurant at the top. 5. 5point Experience: This is a must visit place in Baku. As Azerbaijaan is aiming for more tourism activities, this place gives visitors a glance at what to see and do. My Verdict: Go for it

An excellent view of the Baku city and its skylines. Just besides the Flame Towers. It houses several restaurants, a martyr lane, walk way and view points. A good place to be in the evenings and it was not crowded at all. If you enjoy climbing steps, look for the right entrance or search for the entrances next to Flame Towers.
