This is a very nice public park. It has a nice water fountain in front of and another behind the Huseyn Cavid monument. There are plenty of trees for shade, with several restaurants on the park site to enjoy a nice meal while you are there. Park benches are placed around the fountain and there is a good sized plaza on one end.

(Translated by Google) HÜSEYN CAVID - "Every servant has a penance in the pocket, Every Ahl al-Halqah has a Qiblah, Everyone has a love, a God, Menim God is beauty, love is. " Hüseyin Cavid was born on 24 October 1882 in the village of Şahtahtı, Nakhichevan, Azerbaijan. His father, Hadji Molla Abdullah, and his elder brother, Sheikh Mohammed, were clergymen. They wanted Hussein Cavid as well as themselves. So he started his primary education in Mollahane. He learned Arabic, Persian and religious sciences from his brother. When the courses in Mollahane did not attract attention, he left the religious school and in 1894, he enrolled in the ıp new procedure, class in Nakhchivan. In 1898 he graduated from this school where he got his first knowledge of Persian and Turkish literature. Due to the discomfort in his eyes, he was sent to Tabriz in 1901 by his father to have him treated both his eyes and his religious education. However, his father's request was not due to Hüseyin Cavid's refusal to return to religious education. Cavid, who stayed in Tabriz for a few years after the treatment, was engaged in classical Oriental literature and philosophy as well as advancing his Persian and Arabic language. In 1905 Hüseyin Cavid returned to Nakhchivan and went to Istanbul for higher education. Here he tried to learn French while giving his exams (high school). After finishing secondary education, he entered İstanbul Darülfünunu Literature Branch the same year; He graduated in 1909. Upon his return to Istanbul, he worked as language professor and lecturer in Nakhchivan, Ganja, Baku, Tbilisi and Revan. He learned Russian in Tbilisi. 1926 attended the Baku Turkology Congress. In June 1926, the Soviet Government of Azerbaijan sent Hüseyin Cavid to Berlin to treat his eyes and to study Western literature. After 1930, he was attacked very hard by the Azerbaijani press for not writing appropriate works for the regime. In 1932, he was admitted to the Union of Writers, but he could not escape the pressure and pressure of the communists. He was arrested in 1937. For many years, it was not known where he died. However, after the Communist Party of Azerbaijan decided to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Hüseyin Cavid's birth in 1983, the investigation file in the KGB revealed that he died in 1941 in Siberia, Irkutsk. The poet began writing poetry at an early age, and wrote his first poems in Salik. Some of these poems were published in the Azeri press after 1904. Salik changed his nickname in Istanbul and used Cavid's signature. A series of poems called "Deniz Perisi" (Autumn in the Fall) are emotional, enthusiastic poems written in Istanbul. While he was studying at Istanbul University, Cavid met Abdülhak Hamit, Tevfik Fikret and Rıza Tevfik and they took private philosophy lessons from Rıza Tevfik. Some of the Azerbaijani intellectuals deserved the title of van Abdülhak Hamid of Azerbaijan aydın to Cavid. Hüseyin Cavid, who was accused of being "Panticalist", "Panislamist" and "anti-Communist" during the Soviet period, was forgiven after his death, and his funeral was brought to Nakhchivan, buried in state funeral, and a monumental tomb was built in 1996 for the poet. SOME WORKS: Poetry: Past Days Various Poems Spring Sunflowers Theater: Main (verse) Maral Sheikh San'an (manzum) Seyda Abyss Demon Disaster The Prophet (verse) Topal Timur Siyavus (verse) Khayyam The Revenge of the Devil (verse) Kinyaz (verse) (Original) - HÜSEYN CAVİD - "Her kulun cihanda bir penâhı var, Her ehl-i halın bir kıblegâhı var, Herkesin bir aşkı, bir Allah'ı var, Menim Tanrım güzelliktir, sevgidir." Hüseyin Cavid, 24 Ekim 1882'de Azerbaycan'ın Nahçıvan şehri, Şahtahtı köyünde doğdu. Babası Hacı Molla Abdullah ve ağabeyi Şeyh Muhammet din adamı idiler. Hüseyin Cavid'i de kendileri gibi yetiştinnek istediler. Bu sebepten de ilköğrenimine Mollahane'de başladı. Ağabeyinden Arapça, Farsça ve dini ilimler öğrendi. Mollahane'deki dersler ilgisini çekmeyince, dini tahsili bırakıp 1894 yılında Nahçıvan'da "yeni usul" ders verilen Mekteb·i Terbiyye'ye kaydoldu. Bir ara Nahçıvan'a dönerek öğretmenlik yapan Hüseyin Cavid, 1905 yılında yüksek öğrenim için İstanbul'a gitti.
