Worst customer service by reception desk (Leyla and her manager) Completely ruin my experience and i am confirming this is my last visit ever to Baku First of all: The reception staff didn’t even care about guests need and experience No any proactive to a simple request to at least try to make the experience better!! In addition i kept waiting for not less that 4 hours despite of long stay still they didn’t even bother to try to satisfy the guest such big hotel have only 3 check in desk and wait time was almost 1 hour even during no peak hours. No qualification of customer service as they are always right and the guest is wrong regardless of the situation Really pathetic and appallingly poor experience. Humbly, The front desk staff should go back to basic training including the manager ( who never showed up to try to fix the issues) Can’t explain further!! My last visit to such hotel Pathetic customer service by reception desk. Completely ruin the experience!!

One of the best Hotels I have ever been. It is the meaning of a perfect hotel. Hotel amenities are exceptional and so prestigious. Rooms are really spacious and beds are incredibly comfortable. We had a nice early check in. More than all these, breakfast was really an exception. Wide varieties of foods, breads, cookies, drinks and fruits. Hotel has a modern gym and also a beautiful swimming pool. Highly recommend Boulevard hotel ❤️. If you are planning to have memorable times in Baku, so you need to book a room in this hotel.

As a guest, I've had the pleasure of staying at various hotels, and I believe that a great guest experience is defined by a few key factors. Hospitality: A warm and welcoming atmosphere is crucial. Friendly and attentive staff who go the extra mile to ensure comfort can make a world of difference. Cleanliness: Clean and well-maintained rooms and facilities are non-negotiable. A spotless environment promotes relaxation and peace of mind. Comfort: Comfortable bedding, quality amenities, and thoughtful room design are essential for a restful stay. Location: Convenient proximity to attractions or easy access to transportation adds significant value to a hotel stay. Service: Prompt room service, helpful concierge, and efficient check-in/check-out processes streamline the guest experience. Dining: A diverse and high-quality food and beverage selection, including local cuisine, enhances the overall experience. Safety: Strict safety and security measures are paramount for guest well-being. Value for Money: A fair price for the quality of service and amenities offered is key to guest satisfaction. Overall, a memorable guest experience combines these elements to create a stay that's not only comfortable but also leaves a lasting positive impression.

This has to unfortunately be my worst experience at a Marriott Hotel. One should never underestimate the importance of the "face" of the hotel which is the reception check in/out. The staff at reception are evidently poorly trained, impolite, unprofessional and also grossly dishonest. I had two separate bookings at the hotel and the check in at both times was nothing short of disastrous. Assistance with your luggage also seems to be a luxury and only for a selected few. The second booking (which was a few days later) check-in, in particular left me completely disappointed as I was pushed off to a substandard smaller room which seemed to be miles away from anything and also very different than the initial king sized room which was paid for on both bookings. The check in staff obviously was not aware that this was a second stay/booking and were ignorant enough to believe that I would blindly accept their dishonesty. This is such a shame for a 5* establishment since the rest of the hotel is meticulously clean and the staff and Management at the White restaurant and coffee shop are very kind, polite, friendly and efficient. A word of caution to however turn up early at the breakfast buffet if you do not want to encounter guests sitting everywhere including on the floors and benches to eat their breakfast, which by the way is splendid. During my first stay I did address my concerns and issues with the hotel manager who assured me that he would resolve the same without even bothering to take my name or room number but was quick to mention he had over 800 guests in the hotel and obviously seemed out of his depth at being able to handle customer concerns and complaints. Also important to mention that when I did check in on both occasions that I was either the only or second guest waiting in line. There are far better 5* hotel options to stay at in beautiful Baku and I unfortunately would not recommend this Marriott hotel particularly based on their dishonest behaviour and poor check in / out service. First impressions are lasting and your front desk and hotel manager, unfortunately does very little to create a good one.

Booked a family room for our leisure trip through Marriott Bonvoy Application. The application stated room features with living area / Sitting area for casual sitting but upon check in we have been allotted 2 accessible/interconnecting rooms 😞. Management and booking application ruined our night.

Nice hotel, nice view. Front desk employees need more training for 5 star level. Housekeeping wants to clean your room on their duty time otherwise your room will not be cleaned after they leave. The hotel is flat structure building and only 4 floors, so you might need a taxi to get to your room 🫢. Overall I recommend this hotel because of good prices.

My recent stay at this hotel was an absolute nightmare due to their complete disregard for guest privacy and the shocking mishandling of personal data. This experience was a severe breach of trust and a clear violation of basic ethical standards. What was even more distressing was the hotel's apparent sharing of guests' personal information with external parties. This not only compromised my privacy but also raised serious concerns about data security. When I approached the hotel management about these issues, I expected a swift and professional response to rectify the situation. However, I was met with indifference and a lack of accountability. It was clear that the hotel did not take the matter seriously or have any measures in place to safeguard guests' personal information. My stay at this hotel was a distressing and unsettling experience, and I strongly advise against choosing this establishment if you value your privacy and the security of your personal data. The blatant violations of privacy and the hotel's failure to address these concerns make it an unacceptable choice for any traveler.

I am a Bonvoy membership holder. This is the first night for me here at Marriott boulevard Baku. First of all, the receptionist refused to give me blanket and pillow and in addition, that never happened to me before in all hotels. There was no drinking water in the dinner buffet and all the people were upset because there is no way that you can’t find drinking water in a buffet! Very surprising behavior and absolutely bad experience, I would NOT recommend anybody to stay here.

The hotel is very clean overall, the rooms are spacious and perfect, the staff was nice and very cooperative, and swift in their response, the sea view was amazing yet the hotel was a bit separated from the city. The prices of the rooms and the services were not expensive. My wife and I loved the experience, and I totally recommend the place.

No feel like a 5* Property. Rooms were clean and great though, toiletries were few. Towels and Linens were fine. Breakfast spread was same for our 3 days stay, no change found. Few Asian dishes. Check In and Check Out were quick. Location is beautiful and on the beach. My satisfaction was average.

As a pilot on a private jet, we always book a Marriott property when possible. We've come to expect a certain level of service that most other brands don't deliver. As I write this, I'm lying in bed, trying to sleep because I have to fly tomorrow, but there's loud music being played just below my window. Did I mention that it's after midnight already? In my profile, I always request a high floor and a quiet room, so I can get the rest I need to perform my job safely. For some reason, I was given a room on the first floor and directly over this area where there's some kind of party taking place. The bass is so loud that the windows are vibrating. This is unacceptable! Enough about the noise. For the rest of the hotel, I have to admit that it's very nice, though not located in an area where there's much going on outside. The food in the restaurants is good, but the service is pretty bad. They waiters are slow and many don't understand English well enough to serve the international guests. Although my room is supposed to be non-smoking, I can smell cigarette smoke coming through the air-conditioning vents, which causes my sinuses to close off to the point that I can't breathe well. All-in-all, I'd give the hotel a rating of 6 out of 10.

Stay at Baku Boulevard during the F1 grand Prix for work. Experienced slow check in at midnight with a queue of people checking in. Rooms are spacious, clean and adequate towels and amenities. TV stations are standard for English speakers. Next morning went to breakfast and found it so busy and quite disorganised. Tables are dirty and not turned around, clean and set up properly. The 2 omelette stations had queues, some hot items not replenished quickly so there is little choice. Plenty of cereals and dried fruits with milk and milk alternatives. I didn't like the look of quality of some items - meats and fish looked processed and tinned. lots of cheeses, salads, large sliced cucumber, vegetables, salad items. During the day the lobby is very busy but there is no Concierge desk visible for assistance and certainly no security for people going in and out of lifts. Is there a small shop for convenience items and postcards? My colleague put some items in for laundry and was told he could not have them back until payment made - when does a gold Bonvoy member have to do this when every other hotel will put this charge on room ? In the evening we met up in the bar area and it took more than 15 minutes for a waiter to come and take an order and then a type of French red wine was out of stock - how can an international hotel be unprepared for full occupancy? For dinner we went through to a table and the dining room again had dirty tables that took too long to clear, 4 clean and reset, slow service, nice food but a side accompaniment of french fries came 20 minutes later which was disappointing. I placed a catering take out order with Food & Beverage manager and Head Chef, so hope they understand my instructions, and have it prepared on time, add the ticket to room service before my check out and deliver on time.

Great hotel. There are few areas for improvement: 1- On our last day, our room was made up; however, no towels were provided. When we requested towels from room services, we were told that no towels are available!! This honestly was our first time to experience such a thing in a 5 star hotel. 2- Breakfast is served until 11 which is fine, but the staff shouldn’t be welcoming the guests until 10:59 and removing all food at 11:00 sharp! People who arrive before 11 should be given some time to eat. Otherwise, they should be warned from the entrance. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again if we visit Baku any time soon.

I was very surprised by the concept of hospitality in this hotel for two things.. The first thing is that my family and I went to a restaurant called White City. A girl greeted me and took me out of the restaurant before I took a step inside the restaurant to another restaurant called Black City. I told her that it was not suitable because I had a child with me and there was smoking. And a shisha. The restaurant manager came. I don’t want to mention his name, but it is enough for me that the management recognizes him. He told me that I can only sit in this restaurant and I want the other restaurant. I told him, “How can you expel me from that restaurant?” He spoke in his language to the girl. I told him, “Thank you,” and I went. The other restaurant manager, whose name is Victor, met me and took me in. My family was kind and asked for the room number to send a gift but I did not receive anything and I sat in this hotel for an additional 4 nights. It was a shock to me because I worked for Marriott and learned all the basics of hospitality and other things that I will never forget in my life and it benefited me a lot. Before leaving the hotel I lost my wallet. I informed them that I had lost it. They told me that there was nothing in the room. After that, I arrived in my country and collected the wallet. There was no money in it. It was approximately 400 dollars. I informed them and did not receive a response for 3 days.. The real loss is that Marriott owns this hotel. Please be informed that i stayed from 19th jan till 23rd of jan

I loved the experience staying at Baku Marriott, it's located just at the Caspian sea. Excellent restaurants in the hotel, great sheesha place 👌 I loved the breakfast menu, to top it all Chef Rusal made my stay memorable by cooking up Indian style Paneer Palak with rice and laccha paratha (one of the most treats). The gym is great and very well equipped

Very nice hotel with reasonable prices close to the Caspain See harbor. Some of the rooms with Sea View. Staf very friendy and professional. It is 5-10 minutes by taxi to down town. Rooms quite big and well equippet some of details could be refreshed. Good breakfast but not excellent - I could not find very local dishes. Instant coffee. 10 min of walking to the nearest resaturants and shops.

I would like to personally thank Mr. Elcin’s professionalism, going beyond attitude and help when it came to F&B requests. He communicated well and the order was perfect. That being said the food of the two main restaurants is amazing! I recommend it so much. Thank you for the entire team who prepared my order. Hotel: I loved the room and the gym was cool👍, staff is friendly. My overall experience is great, I’d stay here again.

I had the opportunity to visit the Baku Marriott Hotel Boulevard in July 2022 and overall had a positive experience. One of the highlights was the breathtaking view of the Black Sea from my room, which was both refreshing and relaxing. The hotel itself was also quite spacious, providing ample room for movement and relaxation. Another positive aspect was the hotel's location, which was removed from the hustle and bustle of the city center and provided a peaceful environment. However, one downside was the large number of guests at the hotel during my stay, which made some areas quite crowded and difficult to navigate. Additionally, I noticed some disorganization during breakfast service. Despite these minor drawbacks, I would still recommend the Baku Marriott Hotel Boulevard for its beautiful views and tranquil location.

a top-notch resort hotel in Baku. Location is quiet, there are excellent views of the Caspian Sea behind the hotel, enough of room, clean bathrooms with all the essentials, the hotel has a fantastic atmosphere, the food is good, and there are parking places available. Room service is efficient and good.

Though the hotel is big but not kids friendly at all. Room service is also very poor as we had to call so many times for requesting the same thing. Asian restaurant is good

Nice room, good breakfast, spa is cool. There is a long and wide promenade along the sea. The only thing I didn't like there was an oil smell from the sea.

I am a Marriott bonvoy member since long time , I have been to many Marriott hotels wold wild , but this one is absolutely the worest ever Marriott chain hotel . Starting from the appearance of the hotel which was really bad in the point view of the old furniture and almost damaged furniture in all the rooms , first I thought it is only my room but when I asked my colleagues, it was all the rooms , then I will speak about the staff , they are really unprofessional staff and they lack any good attitude toward the guests . I had a 2 incident of entering my room and placing a couple of bags that don't belong to me and the second time they nocked the door at 3 AM in the morning bringing the same bags that don't belong to me again. Just imagine how unprofessional they are . The breakfast was a total rubbish after 7 o'clock, they never replace the finished items until long time , the waiting time for the egg station was more than one hour , no tables were available for the guests , unfortunately the hotel was full booked and full house , but the hotel management were unable to serve the guests . The bell boy service were a true disaster and placing a wrong bags in wrong rooms is a usaual attitude. After there repeated mistakes with me , the manager Mr Ismayil did not even offer me any compensation or any complementary service or even a decent apologies, instead sending an email which worth nothing . It is well known about Azarbijan people that they are extremely generous and they love having guests in there home and country BUT the Marriott boulevard Baku staff are an obvious exception to this rule . I don't recommend this hotel at all .

I enjoyed my stay in this hotel, and it had everything I needed. Profesional and friendly staff and they were so supportive since I came earlier than the check-in time, the gym facility was excellent, the rooms were in good condition but might require minor maintenance and I enjoyed my time at the dining facilities. It has a beautiful sea view which it made my morning blissful.

The room was nice but the shower area was too tiny. Room service was great. The reception staff and the rest of the staff needs to be trained in English a bit as most people staying here are tourists and it's a bit jarring, trying to communicate. Bfast buffet...well the omlette was good but the bakery section needs to catch up on the quality. Location of the hotel was good and the boulevard was lovely.

Dear Madam, dear Sir, We wanted to have a drink today, on your terrace, with our dog. We were told it was not possible. We had been walking under the sun for a long time and were very tired and thirsty. Besides, there was absolutely nobody on the terrace, the dog was lying at our feet and we even had a muzzle for him. We were nonetheless offered to have water. But what is the point of offering water if we can not have coffee or tea...? Which difference does it make then? We are all the most disappointed that we live and work (close to Marriott) in Baku and would have been regular customers. Best regards.

Situation was beautiful. The staff at check in were very helpful. The room was beautiful looking with a seaview. The only place which cd improve a bit was the breakfast buffet. There was a good variety of food and the luve stations were dealing very well with the guests. The waiting staff was also v helpful. But there was always a shortage of cutlery specially spoons at breakfast. But on the whole we had a great time there.

  • 1/5 Yash M. 6 months ago on Google
The design of the hotel is flawed. We had a sea view room and it literally takes a 15 min walk to reach the room. My key wasn't working and I had to walk all the way to the reception and get a new one which took half hour. Never get a sea room. There is no telephone or anyone in the hallways to get any help if you're locked out ! The service is pathetic, it takes 20 min to get a fresh towel ( ofcourse the rooms are world apart ) The breakfast buffet - we reached 5 min before closing time and they weren't accomodating enough to even give us a piece of bread because every waiter kept saying we are closed and they are out of food ( unbelievable this was the kind of service at a 5 star hotel ) The shower cubicle is super tiny and the shower was damaged, the television wires were hanging outside the staff needs to be trained in English considering they have so many guests from worldwide and it's a basic need. The staff is rude and irresponsive. Overall the experience was very under par with the expectations from a Marriot.

I would like to make a review for a SPA at the hotel Baku Marriott - i am a SPA member and regulary go for a gym and pool. I also use SPA services with a great massage experience. I could recommend Inara as a great therapiest. Tatiana as a new manager of the SPA is very firenedly for all guests. Highly recommended.

Baku Marriott Hotel Boulevard exceeded all expectations, providing a luxurious and comfortable stay. The elegant rooms, attentive staff, and impeccable service create a truly welcoming atmosphere. The hotel's prime location along the boulevard allows for easy exploration of Baku's attractions. Baku Marriott Hotel Boulevard truly made our stay in Baku unforgettable, and we can't wait to return.

I had the most wonderful stay at Marriott Boulevard Baku. I stayed here back in 2019 when it was an Autograph Collection Hotel and now the service has become even better after being rebranded to Marriott. The buffet breakfast is wonderful and not to be missed. This time as a Titanium Marriott member I was upgraded to a Terrace Suite, a little smaller than the Executive suite last time but it has a balcony with nicer view. Good News now they have M Club Lounge, It’s not opened yet, but you get the service at their main restaurant (White City) I enjoyed the full dinner there during my stay. Again, I highly recommend staying at Marriott Boulevard. Excellent service.

I am staying in the hotel for 4 days and will check out tomorrow. My issue is, the longest check-ins in my life, 2 hrs from 4:40 standing in line until 7 pm until I completed my check-in. 3 main issues, 1- super slow front desk process. 2- no authority to rake decision. My room was not available and i had to wait for more than 2 hrs just to wait for it. 3- the hotel is big that its not important to satisfy customers. Will not recommend the hotel from my experience.

The hotel is not bad, the service though is poor, we have asked for several things in the restaurants, and no one came back with the items we asked for nor informed us about them not being available. An advantage regarding the restaurants is that they are relatively cheap, yet the cafe that's adjacent to the lobby (the market) is crazy expensive. The facility is generally clean, the rooms or at least the ones I entered are good. The receptionists are very cooperative kind and helpful. The breakfast is very poor, not much variety in the offered items and nothing changes from day to day. The location is a bit far from the city center, yet the location is very beautiful.

This is a great hotel. I really enjoyed my stay here in June 2022. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was crowded each morning, but the staff did a great job in making sure that there were tables for everyone. The rooms were clean and surprisingly big. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting Baku.

A very beautiful place with a great view on the mountains and nature. The rooms are clean and big, the restaurant is also good 👍 the hotel has a game center, 2 pools indore and outdoor, and a spa area. And you can rent a bicycle to go around the hotel area as an activity. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The place is overall great, it is not in the center of the city but only about 10 minutes away by car.

The pros : relatively cheap hotel, nice and big rooms, the workers are very nice and welcoming, there's a swimming pool and spa. The cons: the hotel is far from city center, rooms with sea view are far away from the elevators, sometimes (usually during afternoon) room service was unavailable on the phone, and on our last day, the pool was closed.
