The hotel location is very good, in the middle of the Nizami street. Close to restaurants, cafes, shops Rooms are good and suitable for families. Cleaning services are better than other hotels in Baku. Staff are very helpful. The restaurant at the roof, has good food, nice interior, helpful staff.

If you want a walking distance for every things plz book in this hotel- simply all were good and their stuff were super professional . Especial thanks to Mr.Samier who really was so helpful in every steps during our stay.

Hotel in centre of nizami street. Very close to fountain square. Amazing rooms, very helpful staff with experience of customer service, receptionist layla, wefadhal and their supervisor are veey supportive and cooperative staff. This is my 5th time. Highly recommended and u wont regret

Very good location. Rooms are very clean and pretty. Every thing else was NOT good enough - the shower mobile handle was broken, no cold water EVER in the sink. When other guests take their shower in the same time...you will lose pressure and there will be no hot water at the same time. The worst thing was the breakfast ! , although verity was fine the quality was really POOR and some of us suffered sutmmack problem after eating the food. I would NOT recommend the stay.

Overall, my stay was pretty good! 🌟 The location of the hotel is fantastic, with easy access to all the attractions and amenities in the area. 🗺️ The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. 👍 However, I did face a couple of issues. First, the internet connection was not up to par. 📶 It was quite slow and inconsistent, which was a bit frustrating. Secondly, the carpet in the room was not as clean as I expected. 🧹 It could definitely use some extra attention. Lastly, there was a bit of noise during the night, which disrupted my sleep a bit. 🌙 Despite these minor drawbacks, I still had a pleasant experience overall. 😊 The positives definitely outweighed the negatives. I would recommend it for its convenient location, friendly staff, and delicious breakfast. This hotel was a total disappointment and desaster. Where do I start? When calling the room service, they just hung up on me saying its closed. Our rooms didnt get cleaned until we asked many times. The staff barely spoke english. The staff was screaming outloud on the hallways talking to eachother. reservations for our group were simply forgotton and people had to share rooms. we had to call for toiletpaper multiple times and the toilet didnt work. they brought a half a toiletrool for us. the blankets were dirty. well i could go on. If at least the staff woud have been nice I woulndt have written this review but they acted like they simply didnt give a damn. the breakfast and loation was decent, view was poor.

This hotel is good for families too because its location is so ideal as it is located in start of Nizami Street. Everything is available in 5 min walk radius.

This place cancelled my booking without contacting me on the day of arrival. I arrived in the evening only to discover they had canceled my reservation. No one could tell me why, how, or who, blaming it on the day staff. Lucky to have found another hotel nearby on short notice. But also surprised that afterwards no one contacted me after to apologize or anything. Super disappointed in this place and would not recommend booking here unless you want to risk unprofessionalism like this.

Hi there the accommodation was so awful the AC was out of service and we talked with the reception and they told us it a lot happened and the company of the hotel it doesn’t care About the problem of the AC

They don't understand English so very hard to communicate and when you do order either it doesn't come at all or it takes ages to come. Staff in general are nice.

Clean room and comfy bed with extra below and blanket. The location is perfect at the busy street but might be little noisy at night.

It was a somewhat frustrating experience but with easy things to get right, as so many have already said: 1) get the air-conditioning working 2) change the old worn and dirty room carpets 3) use real tissue boxes, not harsh kitchen roll in the bedrooms 4) sort out the hotel taxi scam service (trusting a double the going rate payment to the hotel concierge to arrange a high class taxi, later to be presented with a damaged old dented taxi with a smashed windscreen, with the driver demanding payment at the end of the journey for which we had already paid to the hotel!! (Contrary to the hotel's reply, yes a taxi service was originally booked through Dnata, but it they didn't turn up, so the hotel doorman/porter offered to arrange as already mentioned, witnessed by reception staff. Breakfast was lukewarm to cold on the third day. 6) WiFi comes and goes. 7) whilst friendly, improve the reception service level. So what was good? The location is excellent and central for walking to shops, restaurants, the old city, and the sea front promenade. The hotel restaurant has a lovely rooftop setting with great views, bar, plants, books, a piano, and budgies chirping in many cages (their water needs checking please) add to a special ambience.

What a beautiful first experience in Baku! Thanks to the great Sapphire City Hotel. From the moment I arrived - they upgraded my room , complimentary - I could check in early, and even with room service from the restaurant the staff came down to my room to take my order. My stay here was so enjoyable! Location is fab! Staff so helpful and I will definitely return and recommend to friends!

The building is oldish and their attempt to renovate hasn’t yielded great results.. its very basic and the location is the only big plus.. staff though is very friendly..

Best place to stay in Baku, large rooms and bathrooms, great service and great location

Nice only on the first view. Big rooms but not clean. Big stains on the carpet and the room was not vacuumed upon arrival and during the 3 day stay. It always itched me when I was in bed - do not want to know why. small windows and a too loud ventilation (climate I had switched off) Breakfast in the morning was not ready when the restaurant opens. Last but not least - the WiFi was also bratty slow

The best thing in the hotel The reception guy His name is (HAJi) He is number one and he gave a nice attitude very professional when he talk He speak very good English and anything you ask he is ready to help he should be a manager for this hotel And another thing good about tge hotel is the location very nice on nazami street Wifi is not good specially in breakfast area in 5th floor no internet coverage I hade issue with the guy in breakfast area he was work there he was very bad attitude but I spoke to haji then the talk with his manager then he fix my problems Haji the best

Bad hotel they annoy residents to write reviews and beg to give them 5 star’s review and they say if i dont them thier boss will not give salary ! And they take your number and contact you to force you to write them a review + the hotel food is bad it the sheets are dirty so yeah never recommended

Worst hotel ever. Not clean at all. The AC doesn’t work we had to open the windows for air and all the noises and smells were coming into our room. Don’t waste your money get another hotel for a little farther and use the app Bolt for transportation.

Property needs maintenance as few facilities are run down.

Realy Beautiful Hotel. Rooms are big and clean. The Hotel is modern and comfy. Breakfast is given in the 5.th Floor. You can eat and see whole baku. A lovely and beautiful view. The service is very good. Reception is helpful and attentive. We had a realy good time. Thank you very much!

I stay here a lot. almost every time I am in Baku. Extremely nice people, They have been right there every time I needed something. Great location spacious comfortable rooms. Not a 5 star hotel, if you want that then you need to go to the 4 seasons, but for the money - This a great value.

We visited the restaurant SOCIETE on top of (and I supposed part of) the hotel. It's really excellent! The view is exceptionally good, food and drink just as much. The very friendly service matches the experience. A strong recommendation for a wonderful evening!

Absolutely the best hotel experience. The location is right in the Center, very convenient to travel around. The staff especially is very helpful, kind and welcoming. Riad at the front desk is awesome. The bellboy is also very helpful. Room are also big size and very clean. All in all a great experience, highly recommended.
