Horrible experience for me. AC not working, i had too sleep for two nights with an open window overlooking a busy and noisy road, so couldn't sleep for the whole period of my stay. The personnel didn't do anything to fix the issue, moved me to a bigger room with a broken AC as well as a solution. My weekend experience was totally ruined by unprofessionalism of the team who don't bother checking the work done by engineering and giving false promises.

Clean rooms, reasonable size rooms with a balcony overlooking the Caspian see. Also reasonable rates. Nothing much near by such as restaurants or supermarket. about 10 to 15 walk from the old city. My main issuer was, the main road gets blocked in regular bases by police which cause bad traffic that stops us from going in and out of the hotel.

My staying in Sheraton Baku Intourist was exceptional! I even extended it for a couple of days! Location is amazing (I posted my room view), breakfast was also very nice with best service! This hotel is a copy of soviet Intiourist building which is also I found interesting! Valeria from reception is very cooperative and also she is the most beautiful girl I have ever seen in Marriott chain and I know what I am talking about because I travel more than 100 nights a year. 1 - The room: The room I was originally given did not have a sea view like I was promised. Since, I wanted a sea view, I paid extra. Eventhough I paid extra, I felt like the room was worse than the room that I was originally given. 2 - The bathroom: The showering unit is flawed and not maintained. When my family and I used the shower, the water was leaking through the bathroom walls and into the room and the carpets. 3 - The minibar: There was a mini fridge but it was not stocked hence, I could not get any drinks when I felt like it. Another problem that occurred was when I was trying to make tea (with the set they provided) the kettle was broken and the water was leaking through. 4 - Extra bed placement :The room I booked was for 3 People, so I needed an extra bed (which I asked for when I originally booked the room). The housekeeping came into the room and placed the mattress on the floor. We then went back and forth talking about how there is always a bed base and that they should be providing one. After I had to call management and ask them if a bed base needs to be provided and in conclusion that it was the house keepers mistake of not bringing a bed base. At the end, this whole process took around an hour to figure out the confusion. 5 - Wardrobe : The hangers were not well maintained and the bathrobes were torn apart when I tried using them. 6 - The telecom : The telecom does not work properly. Hence proving my first point, that the room is not well maintained. Conclusion : The breakfast,servers and the location was good and made my whole experience positive. However, the maintenance and confusions brought down my rating. I truly expected more from Sheraton. OVERALL RATING - 1 🌟

I like the location of the hotel which is just across the park and sea front and a 10 minutes walking distance from Dinaz mall. Very friendly staff including the conciergee (receptionists are good except the one at the front desk, not the gentleman, nor the dark-haired lady, i.e. the other one.. 😉 more details to follow) The 3 Rooms we reserved for 2 nights are of good standards and enough amenities, you will be provided with couple of towels etc and they will be provided when you ask., however they were situated at the first floor, facing the edge of green cliff and just near the night club that was pounding until late at night, as the receptionist didn't give us other rooms on higher floors when she met us ( without warm or no greetingat all ) as it will take time to have them ready/ and pay more she said though we checked in at 8 pm ! Checking out was smooth, yet luggage was brought in after 25 minutes! The breakfast buffet was good, and all staff were friendly. Ver good food variety but canned juice not fresh, good bakery, coffee was great the barista are pros. I would come back again for the restaurant and if for the same hotel it would be only for the location only.

Really old and run down hotel. The best places are the common areas when you first walk in. The restaurant is OK. The location is a bit far out of town for a nice walk to the center. The Room was beat up and everything in the hotel is very run down. The staff is good and friendly and competent, except for Room service which was unbelievably slow and unresponsive. My tip if you stay here is to order food at the restaurant and ask them to bring up as opposed to calling Room service. Also beware that the rooms with a sea view also have a lot of noise from the major road that is just below, so I would warn against ordering a seaview Room. Over all I wouldn't stay here again despite the friendly staff. Expensive for what you get.
