It pains me to write some bad things about the place because the staffs here were all very friendly and helpful. Atmosphere was great and while it’s in an old building and the elevator is a bit confusing, it’s not that bad if you’ve been to hostels around the world. I was disappointed in the cleanness of the private room I booked. It was not well cleaned. At the bathroom dead bugs and hairs from previous visitor were still there at the washing station. Shower cubicle was kinda dirty too. On top of that. the shower water was so weak it was like a drip by drip. Hot water, cold water it was the same. It was very hard to take a shower. So I had to give 3 stars but as the people there are nice, I hope they pay more attention to the rooms’ condition. Maybe since it’s hostel, hostel rooms are better. Location is amazing though. Right in the middle of everything!

The hotel charged me three folds what I should pay for two nights! I made reservation for four nights and due to poor A/C control, requested early check-out after second night then they ask me to pay for a two nights since they will refund what they charged my card for a four nights but no refund happened even after 4 months and the hotel contacted but helpless.

This place is ok for a few days but not ideal for much more than that More details… This hostel was pretty underwhelming and disappointing for me. I was really looking forward to staying here given it has decent ratings but, I didn’t like it. On the other hand, this hostel has a great location and a lot of potential - I just personally think it is poorly managed right now. If you are looking for a central place - this one is great. I really mean that this hostel can be great with a little work. Here is why I didn’t enjoy my stay: First, when I visited the vibe totally sucked. There’s a group of guys who just sit around all day on their phones, smoke (outside) and lurk. They all seem to be from the same country. They seem to be long term renters NOT backpackers. They talk loudly all night in the early morning and reception does nothing. Second, because of first - it’s really hard to sleep. I was woken each night by people entering the room or kept awake by people talking loudly. I had to tell people to be quiet multiple times. Third, the floors of the hostel are super dirty, so you need to wear flipflops. Fourth, the mattress was comfortable but the top bunk is not fun to get in and out of. Fifth, unfortunately there were bed bugs in the room I stayed in… this is sort of an epidemic right now around the world so it is common. It’s not the end of the world but it’s not fun either. I told 2 separate receptionists and they acted like they never heard of it… (I have pictures but decided not to post them.) My advice to management: - make a shoe rack by the front door and tell all people to remove shoes and use clean slippers inside. No shoes in the hostel, would make it much cleaner - enforce quiet time hours. After 22:00, people should be respectful or no balcony access - make a limit of 14 days for guests, no long term only backpackers

3.5 stars. Honestly overrated. It's a decent hostel no doubt - but if you've stayed in amazing hostels elsewhere, this will be a let down. The washrooms are alright, they are less in number compared to the number of dorm beds. The dorm beds themselves are comfortable, the main area has a few comfortable chairs and a magnetic dart board. The service at the reception counter is good. Overall, don't go by the 9+ rating on Booking. It would be a 7/10 in my books. I'd recommend local boutique hotels instead.

And when the old lady(manager) at reception saw me she started screaming EXCUSE ME, EXcuse ME, with no attitude, i had to hangout the call, because she screams like hell, - Toilets have no toilet paper, and shower rooms always in mess and not clean. - Cleaning staff they Don’t know how to communicate with guests, - elevator supports two persons only and supper slow, The good things about hotel. - young lady at the reception and man who works at night are very nice and polite and Don’t hesitate to ask for help from them. After all this hostel, I give it one star.

The place is very close to the main square and Lina on reception is very friendly and helpful. For most Indians and Pakistanis this is a perfect place to hangout though there are other nationality people as well to connect with.

This could be one of the best hostel one can opt for in Baku. It's very well located. The metro station, the main sights, restaurants, cafes are all close by. Disappointed hostel , not maintained well many things broken shower door , shower head , shamppoo , elevator…. The location is good but now elevator is broken and it is in 4 floor . It was hard to bring the big suitcase.

The stay was great, the place is very cute and budget friendly. Great location too but they need to upgrade something's. We booked a private room and the Muslim shower was broken. Their lift also get jammed with someone inside for hours and didn't get fixed for two days. So we had to take the stairs. Other than that the place is quite chill and nice. Would stay again.

We stayed in family room with baht room inside, which is nice and clean although the hot shower only come on our last day stay so we have to take the cold shower at most of the time. Staffs really friendly and helpful location are closed to everything.

I stayed in a single room with a queen size bed and only a night!, having a such option in a hostel, incredible!!! All is there available if to stay more, kitchenette, washing-/dryer machines, etc. the facility need a renovation but it won’t bother if you need a place to sleep only, room is clean and neat! Stayed here for a few nights. The rooms are ok but the common areas are a huge mess, specially the kitchen and the toilets. Also, they offer free registration if you are staying over 15 days in Azb so i asked them to do it for me, they said they had and later on in the immigration office i was told they didn't. No register was found.

Hostel rates low for these reasons: 1)4-bed room (n°102)allows more privacy but NO HEATING in the end of November.Guests were forced to wear trousers/sweaters at night to find rest. Turning heater's knobs will bring nothing. 2)badly calculated breakfast set for 8AZN is unfriendly slammed on your table: egg,cereal bowl,wiener,2 bread slices + 4 salami and 2 processed cheese slices. Mathematics,anyone? Available from 9am only but reception desk is manned round the clock?🤔 3)restroom floors are covered in mud off people's shoes and pubic hairs. Cleaning lady comes during the day but the issue cannot be solved as long as ppl need the restroom,hence always. Showers SHOULD BE separated from toilets,period. 4)male staff is accomodating. Female way less so. The 2 stars left are for the wonderful position in town and the strong wifi.

i arrived to this hostel on a super hot summer morning after having a terrible night train from tbilisi. i was welcomed to the hostel with amazingly cool air conditioning and a guy named Ali. from the moment i arrived i knew this was the right place to be in baku. Ali made sure i knew everything and made me feel super welcome. the rooms.. are specious and not over crowded. air conditioning in is every room and each bed has its own private curtain, huge locker, lighting system and 2 plugs for you to charge all your accessories. the beds are one of the best features of this place ahh yes and they are super comfy too. the hostel itself.. is located in one of the most exclusive areas in all of baku close to the old town and 1 min walk from the metro station. the bathrooms are all individual so no sharing which is amazing. the main area had a huge screen for movies, even a playstation. the bar on site is serving beer and local wine. the best being that every day they have happy hour, well its actually three hours but this gets you buy one get one free. thats just over $2 for two glasses of wine to bottle of beer its unbelievable. the atmosphere is great and everyday there where lots of people staying so your bound to meet people. they can organise tours and taxi’s if needed. all the staff are super friendly but Ali for sure was the best i built a good report with him as he was super cool and knowledgeable. to sum up a great stay and i will defiantly be coming back…

This is my second time at this hostel. Hostel is located almost at boulevard. 4 minutes walking distance from metro (Sahil) , 15 minutes walking distance from old city. You can reach everywhere easily. There are several bathrooms at hostel, I couldn't count :) so you dont need to wait a queue. Hostel is located on 4 floor of building and don't worry there is an elevator. Kitchen is very comfortable and useful. Staff is very friendly, and you will see them only during check in and check out procedure. Then you will feel like home. Temperature is always great, beds are super comfortable. And the of hostel is very cheap for this kind of facilities. İf you look for good place for stay. Choose the hostel without any hesitation.

It's truly hostel as it should be-modern, superclean, beds with curtains that give privacy and comfy shelf, the common area nice and music not too loud, staff absolutely client oriented will help with all. The place attracts travellers not local workers (have visited a few hostels in.Baku before) and they behaved with respect, not being noisy etc. Small dislikes though: -the hot water is lacking sometimes -most dorms are on noisy and sunny street side and personally I couldn't get used to. The ventilation was not on, so if you close windows it's immediately stuffy inside, if you open its unbearable noise. For me at least. When I moved to the other side it was perfect.
