As
a
couple,
we
booked
a
family
room
with
a
balcony
for
our
stay
in
Baku.
However,
upon
arrival,
we
were
given
a
standard
room
without
prior
notice.
When
we
raised
the
issue
with
the
reception,
they
informed
us
that
they
did
not
have
any
family
rooms
available.
We
had
paid
an
additional
$54
for
the
family
room,
and
we
were
disappointed
to
receive
a
standard
room
instead.
The
hotel
had
advertised
breakfast
and
a
kitchen,
but
the
kitchen
only
served
a
limited
number
of
dishes.
The
facilities
were
poor
as
the
internet
did
not
work,
and
the
TV
did
not
function.
There
was
no
iron
in
the
rooms,
and
only
one
iron
was
available
for
the
whole
hotel.
The
power
plugs
did
not
work,
the
rooms
were
small,
and
there
were
no
toothbrushes,
toothpaste,
or
water
bottles.
The
hotel's
only
positive
aspect
was
its
location
and
the
staff's
welcoming
and
humble
nature.
Despite
the
issues,
the
staff
did
an
amazing
job.
