Room service staff was good but reception staff was rude. And not much options in breakfast.

This says that it is a 5 star hotel but it's not. There service is so pathetic it's like no one wants to work over here. When they gave us our rooms the AC wasn't working at all and we had to complain thrice before a guy came up who found out that the vent was all dirty and torned out. So he brought a fresh filter but despite that it was still pretty warm. So we asked for a room change but they wouldn't give it to us and kept on saying that it's fine even though it wasn't and the AC guy agreed. After our travel agent talked w them they finally agreed but made faces which is what they have been doing looking at us. I don't know whether the managers r hearing about this but ACs need to work c mon man and hire better staff who's more helpful.

Staff working in hotel needs training to improve their communication with gusts. Also, you need to increase the housekeeping staff. They are doing their best but they can not cover the whole task the way it should be. Breakfast is below normal. The rating in booking was five stars but actually the hotel only three stars

It is quite a comfortable hotel centrally situated in Baku. ( It is walking distance to the Flame towers ) The service I received from reception was outstanding. I stayed in room 225, but because of the street noise I was allocated room 223 from 15 - 18 April 2023. The breakfast every morning was quite sumptuous.

Perfect hotel near everything. Spar. And pharmacy. Super market. Plus restaurants And have perfect staff in reception. Is name ozxan Really helpfull. And make your stsy very comfortable. My advice contact to him always. Is best. In hotel and orginzal . Person 🌹🌹🌹 i high recommend this hotel

* I was charged 4 manat for chips from the mini bar that I did not take. * Internet failed on last morning of my stay. I was told it had been fixed, though it had not. * Only 1 slow lift to service the whole hotel. * Breakfast not great. Hot food barely warm, omelette nearly cold, dry and tasteless. * Uphill walk back to hotel from either old city or Fountains Square. I don't recommend it.

Nice stay and nice staff (although they didn't like my piano music and stopped me while playing (because an elderly 👴 guest asked them to do so, as my music didn't match his classic taste 😝)) but i liked it there

I stayed in the Sapphire Inn Hotel for 3 nights during my holiday in Baku. The hotel room is quite dated and old and dusty and could do with more cleaning. The breakfast was average. The location is a 10 to 15 minutes walk from Nizami Street, metro station and major sights. There is a bank and some supermarket/convenience shops nearby. The staff is friendly and helpful. Special praise for Khazar and another young male hotel staff (cannot remember his name) who were both very helpful with directions to bank/ metro/ sim card shop and recommendations for eating, shopping and places to visit. Overall, pleasant stay and lovely interactions I had with the hotel staff made up for the old interior of the hotel. Hence, I would recommend the hotel for its excellent service crew👍🏻

Not happy with the room and service. Breakfast was NOT AS EXPECTED. Bathroom shower had leak and it was not repaired even in 4 days time Near to main nizam street and old city. Extremely bad. They're so rude towards guides they do not even let them wait in the lobby for their guests. Their behaviour needs to be changed. So, not recommended.

This is a good hotel. Staff at the reception are professional and polite. Rooms are spacious and clean.

BE CAREFUL!!! This hotel is UNSAFE,UNSECURED. first of all this is not a 5 star hotel. it’s a very old hotel in the middle of unsafe area. we have booked in this for 5 days. However in the first day when we were in the lobby 2 men entered the hotel while the security guard were watching and they attacked us with out any reason. inside the hotel!!!. unfortunately the security and the hotel management did not do nothing the security guard was allowing them to enter and exit many times while we’re trying to reach to our room. the hotel location in a very bad area. so it’s dangerous for you and your family. after the attack we asked for check out and try to find another hotel. because we feel unsecured after the first night. the manager was saying that he will refund our money but he was a lier in the morning after the police comes he said that he can’t refund our money. it’s my worst experience ever. I have never been attacked in my life when i’m traveling. Imagine that you been attacked for no reason from people you don’t even know inside your hotel!!! the manager was saying if you want to upgrade he can help. However after the attack we didn’t feel save so we just left everything and backed our bagges and go to another hotel. A hotel you feel safe in. I would accept unclean hotel. bad service…etc, but what i can’t accept is that the hotel is unsecured. YOU WILL NEVER FEEL SAFE IN THIS HOTEL. So if you’re thinking to book in this hotel be ready for anything to happen to you. you may lose some stuff from your room you may be stolen in the middle of the hotel you may be attacked inside your room…. and more! at the end SAVE YOUR LIFE AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS WHOLE GROUP.

Good and spacious rooms. Everything was nearby. Staff was very nice and friendly.

Everything is good with this hotel from staff to hygiene to location & services. The only issue faced during my stay was Air condition not working really well. It becomes even worse during night.

My experience is not good with this Hotel. I would rate them 2 star hotel. The Hygiene level is poor. The AC is not cooling well. The breakfast was limited & cold. We couldn't sleep all night due to mosquetos as well. They took more than 12 hrs to add an extra bed, & more than 2 hrs to add a pelow. On the other hand the staff are friendly & welcoming, but it seems there is a shortage maybe. There is a grocery opposite the hotel door, which was helpfull. I stayed for 1 night only, but will not visit this hotel again.

The hotel is situated near the city center and near the old city. There is a market Bravo at 2 steps. The hotel staff is very kind, friendly and helpful However, the hotel service needs to be adjusted. If you are looking to a not high cost place at the city center , Sapphire Inn could be a good choice, but you will have 3.5 stars, not 4

Right in the centre of the central Baku with major touristic places at walkable distance. The rooms are very spacious and with all the basic amenities. The restaurant serve good breakfast.

If you are looking to explore most of the attraction places in Baku then this hotel is highly recommended, its hardly few minutes walk towards all top most city center locations including icherishehr(old baku city)nizami street, meidan tower, sea boulevard, flame towers. Many small to big general stores are available nearby. Ideal hotel for family stay. Room was very convenient with all latest facilities and hotel staff was very supportive throughout our stay. Breakfast buffet was very delicious and timings are also very convenient. Certainly looking forward to stay in my next trip.

Clean and neat. Hotel folks were friendly and always ready to help and assist, despite the fact that some hotel guests were really ignorant and causing too much stress for other guests as well as the hotel personnel. I hope Sapphire hotel stays as good as it was when it was rewarded a 2015 prize.

This Hotel is just average. The Breakfast is almost just salads and bread with jam. The bathroom does not have a water drain. The carpets stained from previous usage. The Staff are friendly though.
