Not recommended for bad hygiene and poor service.👎🏻 we paid 31 USD for a double bed room, 5 azn each person for breakfast 'buffet'🙄 that is how the hotel looks: 1.towel with holes. 2.pillow and bed sheet with holes. 3.dirty blanket left by previous guest. 4. paid 5 azn for breakfast buffet with only egg and sliced meat, no milk nor juice. 5.Shower not properly function

The service is un acceptable at all. The breakfasts are not free and you have to pay a fairly high price for two eggs a piece of butter and cheese which is left over from previous days, and the lady who prepares it is very rude. We were staying there and for about 12 days and half of the days she through the bread and fork and knife on our table as if I have insulted her! The tea for the breakfast is boiled and usually hard to drink. On paper, the breakfast is supposed to have served from 8AM to 10AM but you will get nothing before 8:45 unless you go and cook it yourself. I strongly recommend this so you can see the food that you’re being served yourself. One funny thing was that on my last day she was complaining that why people are coming for breakfast around 9:50!! At first we thought we have done something bad but suddenly after a few days she changed her behavior. I don’t think that this type of behavior is acceptable in any hostel or inn. We reserved for a room with sea view which they gave us a room with wall view. They locked the roof which was supposed to be accessible all day long and every time I had to go down to ask for the key. The heating system in the rooms are not working and you don’t have enough blankets to cover yourself from the cold. Unless there’s no other place or the rest of Baku inns are like this, I don’t recommend this place at all.

The only plus is the place - historical centre. Not far from metro. Taxi will probably stop outside historical centre as the entrance is paid, but they will help you with suitcase. Breakfast is simple and still the same, juice dissolved, but this would not be the biggest problem Airport shuttle is a helpful guy. But they took me at 2am to different hotel without prior warning, saying that room is in repair and not ready, in that other hotel or rather hostel (Town Gates) there is nothing to cover yourself with, no quilt and otherwise the bed dirty, toilet flush not working, and I, tired at 2:30 am must negotiate with a guy that payment immediately and how etc. half an hour we solved just this. Finally in the morning the breakfast is also not ready by the time promissed during night. So I moved early morning, put things to my colleagues' room and finally evening my room was ready. Last day I discovered that small coins that I had on the table are gone, value nothing, but it was collection for my friend. Colleague misses some bottle of juice. Belongings should be untouchable... Paying with card not possible, even when they have a sign at doors.

Worst hotel I have ever been to. Unacceptable behavior of receptionist, like she doing favor to guests by giving rooms, Loud and arrogant. Tiny and dirty rooms with used bed sheets and blankets. Broken toilets, No breakfast, even showed the booking had breakfast included, the staff refused to give any. Worse experience..!!!

Bad hotel, unclean rooms, with nests of cobwebs. I am not kidding and I will post pictures to confirm. The bed is old and the covers have holes in them as if homeless people would sleep on them. So the most prominent title is deception and deception. They put pictures of breakfast on the Booking website, but the truth is shocking, nothing more than stale bread and fried eggs, and pictures are for confirmation. I do not recommend it because its owner lacks good treatment and his dealings with customers are bad

There's that old adage you pretty much get what you pay for. The location of this hotel is the key. Rooms are barely serviceable and breakfast, well, barely serviceable also.

We originally booked another hotel and they redirected us here. The beds are extremally uncomfortable, the toilet seat was broken, there was no toilet paper. Unbelievable behaviour of the receptionist screaming and not wanting to cancel our booking. I cant imagine staying here for two weeks, so we left after a single night. There was black hair on the bed too. The only good thing about this place was the balcony with the view for flame towers.

Not a good experience! Very loud and some essential items were broken, like the minibar fridge and bed. If you want something nice, don't go there.

We had originally booked with another hotel and were redirected to this hotel. Our stay was a nightmare, with dirty linen and unclean conditions throughout the room. The hotel was overpriced, providing no value for money. Furthermore, the customer service was terrible, with unresponsive and dismissive staff, leaving me with a regrettable and uncomfortable experience.

The room was okay space-wise, however the matress wasn't that confortable and the pillows were really thin. The floors were dirty and full of dust and the shower had some weird spots. The location is perfect, in a very convenient spot in the center of the Old Town of Baku and the staff is very helpful and kind, however they don't speak English so keep that in mind as well.

Location and price is great but no room cleaning at all during 6 day stay, breakfast- only omlette and no coffee, no electric tea kettler in the room, which was mentioned in the descriptiom, broken fridge and very old furniture and bedding set. And TV was semi- broken- we were able to plug cables in the right places and it strarted to work.

I stayed in this hotel for 4 days. Location is the best, if compare with price. About the rooms, facilities - the best, if compare with price. The room was cleaned, nice shower cabin, the bed was comfortable, was also fridge in the room - I need nothing more. Receptionist lady is so sweet, hospitality person.

Located inside the historical walled city, deep in a narrow street, and housed in an old residential building, the hotel offers you a peaceful environment. Rooms with balcony provide a beautiful view of the Caspian sea. The standard of cleanliness is just average. The receptionist/ cook/ waitress is very hard working but rude. There is no elevator.

The bed was broken, sheets weren't clean. The breakfast is namesake and it's not buffet. They didn't take our luggage to the room as we had late check in. Rude and unfriendly staff. There was no kettle in room and the ac wasn't working. We could only bear it for a single day and changed the hotel. Edit- the shampoo in the washroom is literally dishsoap. Blue colour.

Didn’t t get to stay. Booked a while a go cheaply for potential Europa cup final Recently They obviously realised that they could cash in and get more so kept saying credit card not accepted. Sent 3 different card details and asked for explanation. They then cancelled my booking without one Beware. Don t trust them Robbers!!
