Dr. Strash has been my foot doctor for over 20 years. He has helped me with everything from broken bones to plantar fasciitis issues. I recently detached my Achilles’ tendon from my heel and he was quick to act and did surgery. As if I already didn’t think the world of him, the care he showed during the surgery and recoup has simply been nothing short of amazing. He uses Christus in Alamo Heights for his surgeries. I was blown away by the attentive service and attention to detail. His office team and MA are always so accommodating and helpful. He has also done a surgery on my wife, who had an incredible recoup . He has also helped my mom and countless friends we have sent to him over the years. I highly recommend seeing Dr Strash for your foot and ankle needs. Not only is he a great doctor but he has a caring heart.

Dr. Strash was very thorough, extremely knowledgeable and kind. His help has been a welcome relief where others said there was little that could be done. If you have foot or ankle trouble make an appointment. You will not be disappointed.

I had an ingrown toenail removed from my left big toe at an urgent care center in West Palm Beach, where I used to live, about 10 years ago. It wasn't done properly, healed very slowly, and grew out improperly. (It never actually healed.) Over the last 4 years I would "fix" it once a month or so. The nail was growing down at a 90 degree angle. It finally reached the point where I couldn't take the pain anymore - from me trying correct it, or the general discomfort doing absolutely anything. I found Dr. Strash and at my visit he walked me through what he would do and what the healing process would be. He performed the procedure and I immediately felt at ease because I remembered with perfect clarity the last time I had this done. Everything he said was completely 100% accurate. I went in for my follow up appointment 3 weeks later, and I was and still am marveling at the fact that I stand, sleep, run, and walk different. I walk correctly because I'm not overcompensating for my toe. I'm so grateful for what he did. He's professional and clearly an expert. I've already recommended him to several people.

I feel so fortunate to have found Dr. Strash! Everyone in the practice is so friendly and helpful. I am able to schedule at times that work well with my schedule, and they are so thorough and efficient. I have received excellent care throughout my diagnosis and recovery from a broken foot. Did anyone receive care from this facility and get called numerous times to pay an outstanding balance on a bill? I was told by the staff that I had to pay the visit in full the first appointment which was almost $300 (ridiculous for one biopsy), then the following visits would be cheaper bc I had met my deductible. So, my insurance didn’t cover any of the bill. I was then called to pay a bill for the lab sample and now, I’m being told to pay $140 because insurance “rejected a payment”. The lady on the phone offered a “50% discount” but only if I gave my card number over the phone immediately. If i went into the office to pay, I could only use check and no longer receive a discount. This seems like a red flag and am willing to report this practice to the city/board if anyone else has received the scam-like emails. This company also posts patient notes in this review section which is a violation protected health information and can also be added to my report. AGAIN, please respond if this sounds like a similar experience. ADDITION 08/07/23: DO NOT RECEIVE CARE FROM THIS PRACTICE!! I CALLED MY INSURANCE COMPANY AND THEY ARE RUNNING AN SCHEME TO TAKE MORE MONEY FOR SERVICES AND CHALKING IT UP TO AN INSURANCE PROBLEM!! IF ANYONE HAS HAD THIS SAME ISSUE, YOU NEED TO MAKE SURE YOUR MONEY IS RIGHT!!

Dr. Strash has an amazing bedside manner and truly cares about his patients. He corrected bunion surgery on both of my feet. He is an amazing surgeon! I experienced little to no pain throughout the process. I would highly recommend him!

Dr. Strash is an excellent physician. I thought I had an ulcer on the bottom of my foot. Dr. Strash informed me it was a clogged sweat gland. He took care of it quickly and efficiently. Now, there is no more pain. He also has a fantastic personality. I highly recommend Dr. Strash. His staff was wonderful.

Dr. Strash was amazing, I went to multiple doctors before him and none of them could tell me why I was experiencing so much foot pain. Finally when I had my first appointment with Dr. Strash, he immediately diagnosed me for a Tarsol Coalition, I finally had surgery a few weeks ago, and I’m on my way to recovery now. I’m very grateful for Dr. Strash, he is very polite, kind , and professional. Highly recommend!!!

Dr. Strash is awesome! He did a fantastic job with my bone spur and achilles. I have been in pain with limited activity for 3 years. It is fabulous to be able to walk, run, jump again with no pain.
