😠 It’s such a shame that a beautiful facility is so poorly run. It is absolutely disgusting how dirty it is. The swimming pool is always freezing. The ladies locker room smells of damp sewage and urine, the showers are not working or too cold and there is mould on the tiles 🤮 the jacuzzi & steam room... People often mention pool, membership, staff, great, swimming, management, facilities, Great, friendly, working,

It’s such a shame that a beautiful facility is so poorly run. It is absolutely disgusting how dirty it is. The swimming pool is always freezing. The ladies locker room smells of damp sewage and urine, the showers are not working or too cold and there is mould on the tiles 🤮 the jacuzzi & steam room area also stinks of sewage and somehow it has got worse in recent weeks. This has been brought to management’s attention more then once from different members. As members we chat in saunas & steam room and most if not all agree the place is in desperate need of new management and a deep clean.

Nice facility in general, just a pity management seems to take customers for granted once the membership is paid. 1) Broken lockers everywhere 2) more showers broken than working in the gents changing area 3) health suite jacuzzi constantly out of order 4) no swimming instructors to teach the kids 5) despite being a fully paid member you still have to que at reception every time you go in. Why can’t you just scan your card and go in like other gyms instead of having to stand and listen to everyone’s queries at the desk 6) slides are only turned on for a couple of minutes every hour for the kids

I am extremely disappointed with the state of this sports complex. The changing rooms are consistently dirty, the showers are never cleaned, and the sauna and jacuzzi are disgusting. The changing area in the pool also smells strongly of urine. Despite the high prices, the facilities are not well-maintained at all. To make matters worse, the staff can often be found chatting for hours in the gym area, doing nothing to improve the cleanliness of the complex. I've noticed the same dirt on the floor for months, indicating a complete lack of cleaning. I would not recommend this place to anyone, and suggest looking elsewhere for a sports complex that is actually worth the price.

Great sized facility but it’s really dirty and smells awful at the moment - like urine. Needs retiling, a deep clean and for the nappy bins to be emptied much more regularly. Also would be nice if the slides and waves were available more frequently - it seems like maybe only once an hour.

I've been asking for ages why the Members bar is not open.People are paying their fees for the full package but the members bar has not reopened since Covid. Classes: Zumba classes have been cancelled totally. AquaAerobics has gone from 4 to 3 classes and the great instructor has unfortunately left. The Lifequard numbers have also been cut or curtailed. The place used to be great but in the last year has gone downhill. The public showers, toilets and general areas all need a deep clean with industrial cleaners and steamers.

Great gym,but sauna, steam room and jacuzzi are filthy, and need to be updated, and it's a potluck if they are working or not, before Christmas I left a piece of paper beside jacuzzi, to see how long it would be there and it was there for 3weeks,and it was in plain sight, need new cleaners, and it's very hard to get in touch, when you ring

Only a new user and everything so far it’s fantastic Although I don’t think the one-way system is working It’s very awkward to use multiple activities such as the gym and swim because of the one-way system but are all in all It’s a great place

I feel if this place was managed better they could turn it into a real asset. It seems like there is just stuff left all over the place. Random rooms ,abandoned corridors, furniture just strewn about the place. Hard to know what you can and cannot do. If they started looking after the small things and organised the place better it would be a really great place. Bar those issues it’s well priced and the gym equipment was decent.

The website says the “pool is accessible to all” but when you get there it’s “membership only” with a minimum option for 180 EUR a year (you pay an entry to the pool on top of that). The receptionist was rude and arrogant, which is ironic as I couldn’t understand anything they were saying as they mumbled every word. Do not recommend.

Me and my friend were very bad informed in the reception. I felt not welcome at all. I left the place frustrated. Any possibility of joining them is gone.

Very disappointed. I check on website and the price for daily entrance was 6 euro for swimming pool. When I arrive there they ask me to be a member. ( 180 euro single or 215 family membership) otherwise you can't have access. I travel 3 hrs with the bus to arrive there and to come back home. Please update your website and clarify your policy. At least people will know exactly what to do.

Management at Sportslink leaves an awful lot to be desired, their priorities in repairing broken equipment is now bordering on insulting to the people who attend Sportslink for example the Jacuzzi has been out of action for over one month to date and who knows when it will be repaired management just shrug off any enquiries. This type of management is not good enough will they refund part of our annual subscription or better still resign or be sacked.

Absolutely Terrible SportsLink is membership only . I took two buses to visit this place and was told membership only. Some of us work around times when swimming leisure centers are closed. I rarely have the time to access swimming during the day. Therefore membership wouldn't suit me. I'd imagine if this place cancelled their 'membership only ' and instead allowed for a public day pass. Business would be financially busier.

Great facilities. Terrible management though. They never answer the phone, the pool is always cold and they are severely understaffed.

Good facilities at a reasonable price. The restaurant on the bar restaurant staff on the other hand were the most rude unhelpful staff I have ever did business with. We ordered Spaghetti which according to the menu came with a baked potato but when we paid we were told it didn’t and we had to pay even though we showed them the menu in which they told us to pay and leave. We reluctantly paid and will be further complaining to management. To sum up great facilities but false advertising in bar restaurant.

The only way to access it is by membership only. 180 Euro a year, no other options available. If you want to use the pool, you pay extra, up to 300. If you're working a busy schedule and need random access, there's no option for that. Plus the pool is outdated and the whole changing and shower area smells like urine.

No longer recommended as a family friendly centre. The standards of the building and level of customer care has completely changed post-covid. This is my personal opinion. The management had zero regard for our wellbeing when we tried to explore several options in order to renew our membership. We asked for nothing for free, yet the centre were completely unwilling to work with us to get back into gym and pool usage after illness unless we paid upfront. Constantly ignored when we tried to make contact. The membership team were rude and only responded once. One of the managers refused to reply to any emails whatsoever. The building is starting to show its age but we have always loved and supported Sportslink in many ways. Even though the changing areas were a complete mess and the pool was always closing or opening late for some mystery reason. We now have no gym or pool membership and our children are devastated with no more swimming days. After all the support and loyalty we have shown to Sportslink they have shown their true colours by realising we had a problem but refusing point blank to try and help us out, again, at no cost to the company. This centre is not family friendly in our personal opinion. Their are several other gyms located nearby, all of which are cleaner, more modern and offer a far superior level of customer experience and care.

Kids like the swimming pool. Especially the wave pool. Sad that you need a membership to access it. The management should rethink the concepts of the place and allow walk ins without membership would be so much beneficial.
