Nunu was our first stop on our trip in Bali, and it turned out to be just what we needed. The hotel's location is great – close enough to Canggu but far from the city's noise. It's on the outskirts, so you get a taste of the real Bali with local houses and temples around. The staff and owner at Nunu are genuinely friendly, making us feel right at home. The hotel has all the facilities you need for a relaxing stay, and we spent a good amount of time lounging by the pool, which was perfect. Nunu is a solid choice for a few or several days' stay. Some mornings, I took advantage of the peaceful atmosphere and meditated at their yoga area. It was a lovely start to our Bali honeymoon.

The most blissful, peaceful and wholesome place! The rooms are absolutely amazing, they go above and beyond in all areas, the beds are extremely comfortable, the rooms all have air con, everything is immaculate and clean. There are two beautiful pools , an ice bath and many different yoga classes, events and movie nights offered. The staff are so helpful and friendly it really feels like a home. Absolutely recommend this place. ♥️♥️♥️

Having travelled Indonesia for 2 months, I have not had a better hostel experience than at Nunu. In fact, it was so good that it was the only hostel I have returned to for a second stay. A spacious and luscious green haven set in the midst of expansive and tranquil rice terraces, it is the closest you will get to an authentic Bali experience. The bed in the dorm is by far the best I have stayed in on my travels and the room was well equipped and always clean. The facilities offered at Nunu, including the two swimming pools, ice bath and yoga shala, mean you don’t even need to leave the retreat but if you would like to then the beach is 20 minutes away and Canggu not much further. There is a fantastic social environment at the hostel and some of the best conversations I have had on my travels have been whilst sitting around the firepit in the evening. Finally, this review would be nothing without a nod to the incredible staff that make this experience ten times better. Reece has done a stellar job of assembling a team that will go above and beyond and look after you whilst also treating you like one of the family. It was an absolute pleasure to meet and get to know Vee, Gus, Ehrna, Desi, Adi and Yunyun (apologies for any misspelling).

Such a beautiful serene week. My first week in Bali, after a long travel I just wanted to relax and get into the flow of Bali life. Firstly I’d like to highlight how perfectly social this Retreat is. I am used to Hostels as I look for a social scene however I didn’t want to be in a party environment so this was the perfect place. They host social events and yoga everyday. They organise massages and day trips for you. So you really don’t have to overthink anything. Secondly, the Team at NuNu are such beautiful, smiley faces to be around each day. And lastly, the beds…are amazing!! Such nice cabins and bathrooms are beautifully designed. So many more things I could say. I will 100% be back. Cannot recommended enough. Thank you 💙

I absolutely love this place!! Spent 5 days here over Christmas and it was exactly what I needed. The grounds are beautiful, the atmosphere is so relaxed and positive, and the staff are absolutely amazing. The beds are comfy, it's clean and it's just the perfect place to unwind and chill out! As a solo traveller I felt very safe staying here, and will definitely be booking to come back. Thank you to the whole Nunu team for making my first Christmas away from home so special and memorable!

Nunu is one of my favorite places I’ve ever stayed in my travels. I have been telling every person I meet in Bali about this place. The setup and design are jaw dropping, and it’s a perfect way to retreat for however long is necessary. What stands out above even the amazing space is the amazing staff. From the owner to the manager to all of the workers, everyone is fun, friendly, and just a joy to be around. Easy 5 stars.

I am still amazed by this place, i would recommend to not hesitate a second, this is one of the most wonderful and calmest places i have ever been in my life. The staff is absolutely incredible, good humans, at your service, and the room are really amazing (even the dormitory). I really met wonderful people and i hope i ll be able to go back to that piece of paradise. Trust me, this is the choice you have to pick to enjoy your time in Bali.

I spent my last three days in Nunu after three weeks of travelling around Bali and it was simply the best way to finish my trip. I loved the location, surrounded by rice fields, in a peaceful and beautiful village, far from the crowd but very close to Canggu. I stayed in the dorm, but I never felt like sleeping in a hostel really. The dorm is so spacious and comfortable, as well as all the common areas and two swimming pools where you can spend your time and relax. The staff made me feel at home and they were all kind and helpful. On my last day I had to leave early in the morning and they left some breakfast for me in the fridge. I totally recommend it!
