Some media outlets highlighted the disproportionate amount of cases involving the bank, and claimed that the bank's aggressive performance targets and internal culture fostered such activities and that the blame does not lie solely in the hands of arrested employees. An Indian online magazine conducted a sting operation which was publicised along with 2013 videos evidence showing a wide range of violations and money-laundering schemes by top officials at a number of Indian banks, including Axis Bank. Consequently, penalty of Rs 5 crore on Axis Bank, Rs 4.5 crore on HDFC Bank and Rs 1 crore on ICICI Bank was imposed by Reserve Bank of India.

worst branch of axis bank..fraud..fools customer...My mother went for transfer of her axis bank account to laketown branch and they did fraud...instead of tranferring they opened a new account and said that when you transfer your account you get a new account number which was not true.The water from their ac was falling on the passbook printing machine....and so the machine stopped working....is it really a bank????

Worst Staff...not concerned about their customers and least interested to respond to any query....I would recommend not to open any account in this branch.

Excellent service. All the staffs are very helpful. This bank is located 15 min away from the clock tower. Nearest bus stand to reach this bank is lake town manasha bari. Inside the bank ambience is very nice and I really recommend this bank to everyone. One of the best private sector bank. They also have ATM just beside the bank. Even bank employees go out of their way to help the customer

Axis Bank Lake Town a strange place of action...no co.ordination among the staff... unnecessarily they harass customers...how can they act so carelessly...strict action should be taken against all of them..lacks proper training..

After 10 days from 23 Sep '20, the DP a/c still not come.

Horrible experience so far. They have a laid back attitude and can’t even help a customer who went with her demise son’s documents. Harassing her for almost 1 and a half month for closing her son’s FD account. Pathetic approach towards customers and even the phone banking is misleading

Very incompetent staff - specially the Max life team - shameful

Staff behavior is pathetic and fraudulent. Went with a bearers cheque, they said the account have balance so took the cheques. Later on called the Account owner, maybe he said not to clear the cheques. So we asked our cheque back, the cashier said they wont give. After some verbal banter I asked for a recipt if they are keeping my cheque, within minutes they returned it. Such fraudulent activity. SHAME ON YOU AXIS BANK

Worst branch. Instead of 9:30 cash counter begins from 10. Insufficient fund, customers are unable to withdraw cash. Operation manager intentionally delayed to provide approval for other branch cash withdrawal.

Made rest of the banks sit up and notice what a proper set up should be.But of late service could have a bit more receptive staff.

Its kind of busy bank. Whenever i visited, i observed a busy staffs.my bank branch is in salt lake but whenever i came here for any issues, they just redirected me to go main branch and did not even resolve my issues.

Disgrace.

Co-operative staff but too much noise and now ac is not working. The environment needs improvement.
