I stayed previously 3 nights at other hotel sw!!ss🔔 with seaview balcony, spacious bedroom. And decided to move to 5* Grand Jatra with 5* expectation. Surpriced when arrived at the floor 6, carpet was dirty and oddor. The bedroom is more surpriced! Its narrow for 5* , view is terrible, which is a roof!! Moldy wallpaper, moldy wall, moldy bathroom. And bathroom was only rain shower!!! This i a shame for 5* Expecting grohe shower system but it turn only rainshower tot* There are only 2 towels, not includes face towel, small hair towel, The bathroom is dark, and moldy The breakfast is like 3* I wont back here again, im cant enjoyed stayed here

Located in Balikpapan Superblock which is very easy to find food and beach. Got free upgrade to a business suite room, very spacious, comfy, accurate water heater in the shower. Small thing to improve is the hygiene, I found several hair in the room. Overall good experience.

Room quality just like a RedDoorz, twice sleeping in this hotel during Ramadhan with a range a week the breakfast menu just the same not fresh

Overall OK, strategic place next to the mall center and other entertainment. Breakfast menu is standard (average). Minus= Internet connection is slow, same speed compare to 2014 when first time I visited this hotel.

Room 921 was awful. Music sound from an event at tenth floor very clearly heard.. Also, about small cockroaches .. yeah sadly its true when i stayed at room 921

Room Deluxe (2 night) - The room so large. - Location of hotel is great - Some people Servicer in lobby and welcoming door were not good. They didnt smile and looks frown. - First night, setting of the room was bad, bed was not set properly and just have 1 bath towel in bathroom. But, in second night bed was set better and have 2 towel in bathroom - Many menu breakfast was not ready at 7 a.m - Variation of breakfast menu was Good. But the taste was not good enough, almost all of menu have bad texture

Outdated hotel with no real signs of renovation efforts considering itself a "5 Star Hotel". Rooms are spacious and clean, but renovation work is long overdue here too. Internet / Wifi partially available but not really functional (unacceptable)! The room safe is not anchored anywhere, let alone that it even worksat all. Tales partially lose, silicone and joints are falling out, there are flaws and visible signs of wear everywhere on the furnishings and furniture. Service far away from a 5 star hotel at least from a western standard hotel.

this ia strategic hotel, since stand near to shopping mall, cullinary, and only around 15 minutes from airport

Good location and spacious room but poor cleanliness and poor maintenance.

we stay here (almost) every time we touch down Balikpapan. I liked the simplicity of the room. my kid loves the fish in the lobby. breakfast is okay. location, great. I can get anything around BSB. the last time I need some medicine, Pam clinic is right around. I appreciate all the security/concierge guards, for always helping me with my kid’s stroller like 1000 times a day, even gave my kid balloons when she had tantrums in Ground floor.

No towel when I first come in room, and it took more than half hour until I get towel. No hair conditioner, and the front desk called me three times after she know the fact until she can tell me. No light in the ceiling. Phone really old and sometimes cannot get through to front deak. Internet very unstable.

* Small crocoaches (2 to be exact) in the room * room smell bed, might come from the aircon * Bed was not comfortable, this is 4 star hotel, and expected 4 star bed is not like the one in Jatra * The towel smells cigerettes * I finish 2 can of Dettol Spray for staying 3 night * Breakfast is not up to 4 star standard * Lighting is like the one in 3 star hotel * Chef who make the omellete left the shell and I need to spit it out, and the omellete is not like an omelete Overall, not sure why this hotel rated at 4 stars hotel

My room upgraded with no additional charge... Very kind place to stay.. near by a lot of places to shop and hangout at e-walk and pentacity... Room keep cool till dawn even though the air conditioner was turned off.

Need to improve coz totally different with previously Jatra, room and service decrease since the pandemic

Very bad for four stars hotel. There is no garden, limited parking area, no carpet inside the rooms.

Good fitness and sport facility at the top of the hotel. Want to be there more

Had a bit of a bad experience with food from the restaurant. I had diarrhea during my 4 day stay here. But, overall the room and facilities are okay!

Stay in this hotel on my last visit. The room is spacius or huge. Cleanness is okay. They have Jacuzzi, Gym, pool in the roof top.

Seems this hotel just recovered from pandemic effects. Room carpet are very old, towels are old too and hotel very limited amnities for showers. But service is good and staff are friendly and helpfull.

Good place to stay in Balikpapan, overall service is top notch. The facilities around the hotel offer you some nice activities. If you are bored then you can just go to the Ewalk and Pentacity which located at the same location

Big rooms, connected to shopping mall, friendly staffs, nice room temperature and hot shower water. Unfortunately during my last visit on May 2021, this hotel need to improve their cleanlines.
