Poor service, dirty and takes almost 2 hours to get towel. I promised, never and never booked this hotel anymore for my entire life.

Welcoming receptionist, polite and service minded . Old and outdated room, dirty furniture's. Smell of Cigarette for non smoking room.dirty elevators. The whole hotel need upgrade and clean inside out

I chose this place because it was written that they have a swimming pool. but when I visited the hotel, they said it is not in their hotel but the other hotel which located right beside and still in the same group I guess. they should have not list the swimming pool as the facilities at the first time. made me very dissapoint at that moment, and there are also other things, like slipper not exist, electric keettle not exist, shampoo not exist. for the room itself I think it is okay, good bed, nice air conditioner, TV was poor, only national channel and display was like all over the place (often get disconnected), they have fridge, bathub can not be used because the sink hole doesn't have the closer. my advice, hotel should mention at the advertisement, what would be in the package, and what needs to be payed, so we could know from the very first moment and could find others.

Not recommended. I ordered a room by online but its not provided after confirm it. Customer service is rude in telephone service If I could a post without a star, I would have given a comment without a star

Nice place, towels delivered a bit late but service is ok. Room is ok, bathroom is ok, tv, heater, 2 bed are ok. But wifi little bit slow, if you need wifi i did not really reccomend on 9 floor.

Everything okay. A bit run down but not too bad. They have a cockroach problem so arm yourself with bugspray. Wifi signal was very weak, but that depends on where your room is.

I stayed at the other hotel Bahtera and only came for the bar. Simple, quiet, western style bar with very friendly workers. Prices a bit steep, maybe rp250.000 for a Guinness but very nice atmosphere

Done online booking, still sold it to another visitors and blaming the online app, waiting for 3h++ with no solution at all, smh 👎

Visit due to miscommunication (I thought this hotel was Menara Bahtera, but then proved I was wrong and I ended up in this hotel). A strategic hotel in Balikpapan, not so far from many places, but its (seems to be) old age and vintage style may be creepy for some people. Its 1980's ambience is thoroughly strong: cupboard design, bathroom design, how do they manage breakfast, etc. Room cleanliness is great, despite of already-stained utilities and amenities in the room. Standard breakfast, good service, within an also-looking-old small restaurant.

Located at city centre, it's easy to go anywhere. They have 4 lifts but only 1 works. Receptionist should be quicker. Guests should not wait for half an hour before entering room

Book online but does not get room. I dont get my refund after 1 month

Strategic hotel near a mall and main road, got a cheap rate with a big room. Tho the hotels are older than average

I believe this hotel is one of the first hotels in Balikpapan. Classic atmosphere, cozy, and good service
