Last November, I stayed here due to some business in Samarinda. The hotel is located in the same area as Mall City Centrum and Hotel Mercure. The service from the front desk, security, and other staff members was very friendly and prompt. The hotel's interior is modern, with many co-working spaces in the lobby area, which is combined with a coffee shop. On weekends, the lobby tends to be a bit crowded with coffee shop visitors. The room size is somewhat small, but comfortable, with a view facing the Mahakam River. Overall, I had a good stay and would consider staying here again for events in Samarinda.

The room is comfy but quite a bit narrow (for twin bed room). I love the interior design, so fresh and calming. One think to figure out is, i think there is a problem with the bathroom, so much puddle.

Nice always stay here. My request for river view can't get cause full booked

ROOM Basic Ibis room - not much of complaint. Oh, except the water in the shower took time to go down the drain. But everything else was okay. SERVICE: When I came there were only one staff in the receptionist, so it was rather slow check-in (there were one person in front of me and two behind me). Then in the room, when I requested for sajadah, it took about 15 minutes :( LOCATION No complaint as well - quite close to the river. It also has a mall (City Centrum) despite it being quiet and not having many tenants, but again, no complaints.

I always love this type of minimalist hotel room, compact complete and clean , the check in proses is fast, and i love their wood key room, never seen one like this before, the breakfast is standard but the taste and quality of the food is good, the lobby look small coz at the corner but when i get inside its huge and comfy, its really good place for business peop. there is a small mall at the 1st floor, so ot helpful to find food, drugstore etc. my room’s view also good, i can see both mahakam river and the city. there also a coffee shop in-front of the lobby, serving a good coffee and good pastries, i tried their cheese coffee and surprisingly tasted good, also the plain croissant and tasted oke too. . i hope i will be back to samarinda and stay again at this hotel

The room we were assigned at check in had a strong damp smell so I asked for a different room. The reception staff were happy to oblige, although they took the precaution of having so much air freshener sprayed in the second room it was difficult to breathe, let alone assess whether this room was also damp! We had to prop the door open and wait outside for 10 minutes until the smell subsided! Fortunately it was fine. After a shaky start, the rest of our three-night stay was pretty uneventful. Breakfast was decent. Wi-Fi ok. Gym had just about enough equipment for a workout. Didn’t use the pool area as there were lots of kids around on the Saturday and they seemed to be doing maintenance on it on the Sunday. Overall I was happy with my stay.

I could give 5 stars but regarding there are some parts need to improve such as front desk staff need more “ramah” to the visitor and the breakfast is not refilled fast when it’s empty. Another parts satisfication especially All you can eat dimsum. The dismum was really tasty.

Recommended hotel for a business trip, first the service was quite attentive and friendly, the room was clean with equipped amenities and there was an available water dispenser in front of the room so this is good for minimizing the usage of plastic bottles. The breakfast area was huge, lot of seating areas and the food was good with a variety of choices. The lobby was quite comfortable for having a meeting or for work.

I would say, the quality really worth all the 💵. From room, food, service, view, to location, nothing gone "meh". I'm quite picky for " Bathroom", but actually i really love it. It's quite small, but really comfortable. It's just "enough" for showering IF you are traveling alone. Also, the water never disappoint me, all good, all warm, all clean. 24/7 hot shower 👍 And i love how they provide us not only with new towels but also with full and brand new toiletries each day. Love it. I might say, i didn't have the best meal here, but all the passties are nice and yummy. Also, the staffs were so helpful and friendly. They always confirm first whether i want a room cleaning or not. And if i happened to encounter the staff at the hall or lift, they always greeted me first and were so polite. Thank you for the service.

Love the lobby, good for work trip. The only downside is no smoking area. The room is awesome with Mahakam River view

My first time to stay in this hotel @Samarinda, a big shock when entering the room and found out the foot of bed purposely made slant/ tilted - according to the room boy - and that's made me feel un-safe for sure, the body wash and shampoo dispenser stuck and have to call the room service for help. The breakfast menu quite okay, similar as standard of other Ibis Hotel in Java Island.

Everything is good about this hotel: breakfast, location, room, cafe at lobby, access to many business centres, and affordable price. A security named pak Rudi is very friendly. Other staffs should learn from him how to greet guests

Nice place to stay with your family, i hope next check in they already fix the wifi it's just like a snail, so if you have some work to finish you must use your own data celuler. But overall nice breakfast, nice location and the price is affordable.

Really Good Hotel even tho it's a 3 Star Hotel.... Loved the Breakfast even if the Waffle and Pancake are precooked.... Omelette Chef is Nice and will make based on the request.... Overall Nice place to stay.

Plus: -Sofa & table for working on a laptop. -Mini refrigerator. -Safe locker. -Nice AC. -Both of the lift is good quality & fast. -Quite night for comfortable sleep (is this mean that the room silencer is good?). Mins: -Broken bathroom glass door (not a big deal).

Great location at the city center, next to a City Centrum Mall. The access to park, you have to go inside the mall and you will find your parking, they don't have connection to parking hall directly. Easy to find food nearby hotel. 10minutes walking to Samarinda Central Plaza. Overall bed okay, clean since this hotel still new. Amenities okay, bath room size is small. Price a bit pricey compared to its class but you don't have a choice if you look hotel at samarinda city.

Good place and good room. The food for breakfast was good. Staff were very friendly and check in/out process was very quick, thanks to vije who handled me during my staycation.

Boutique hotel for it's class, the room is typically boutique hotel, spacious enough for sleep and some work. The room service is great, most of them is flavorful, the breakfast is just fine. One down side, the WIFI and Internet connection sucks. I'm tethering most of the time for my online work.
