🫤 Food is great. Terrible service. Took almost an hour and a half to get my main dish. Mind you it was around 3pm and it was not crowded. End up not getting my dessert because I cant wait anymore. Funny thing is when we asked for the bill, payment was processed in less than 3 minutes. So there. People often mention Japanese, time, restaurant, menu, service, served, good, quality, great, experience,

Nice ambience and place was filled with Japanese folks. They gave us a nice private room for two facing the street. Felt weird to ring the 🔔 whenever we wanted to order. Food is not as expensive as I thought. Sashimi and aburi sushi were the highlights for me. Okonomiyaki and yakitori were just alright but went well with the beer. Overall, a good dining experience. Will probably come back for their course menu with the steaks, hopefully seated at the counter this time.

This is one of the best places I’ve tried in the city. Food is authentic and the quality is superb. I usually hate uni but what they served me here was excellent. All of their desserts are a must-try. The menu is extensive, with items I haven’t seen elsewhere. Even the drinks were great. We cannot wait to come back!

It took 1 hour for all the food that we ordered to be served. The chicken pieces in the negima was undercooked (could get food poisoning). The sushi pieces were tiny - half of what you would call a normal size. There also was a bone in the salmon sushi! Tempura was served without tempura sauce (until we asked for it a couple of times). The rib eye was just ok - overpriced at 1,500 for 100g. The eel on the onigiris tasted old. Spent P6,500 for 2 people (no drinks). At that price point, I expect at least decent quality food and service. Disappointing. Never coming back and would never recommend.

Had a quick lunch here a few days ago. Ordered ala carte items but we got lucky coz lunches include appetizers and salad! 🥺 Also sat in front of the chef at the hibachi style counter. Would have totally ordered something that needs to be cooked in front of us on that counter next time. That would be more entertaining for sure. 😅 Food was good, though a tad pricey. Serving is quite big though so you can definitely consider sharing. The staff were nice. Place was also very clean. Definitely enjoyed my lunch.

Nice place for some fine Japanese dining in BGC. They offer hibachi style cooking, I feel is rare in BGC. I do think the variety of entrees could use improvement, seemed like chicken, salmon, and beef ruled the menu. The hotpot was so-so, they only have 1 shrimp and I guess 4 chicken nuggies. The cocktails were weird names that are exclusive to this restaurant so you must ask what each individual one is in order to order them. They could at least put a short description of it on the menu so you know. The staff and service were good except they weren’t very knowledgeable about the drinks either, they had to check with other staff to see what the drink was. I think they’re trying to hard to be cute with the names. Just call the Green Samurai a mojito, thanks. Also, their entrance is a total fire hazard. Only one door opens and it faces the wrong direction, also it opens inward. Very dangerous in emergencies.

We feel cheated of money! When we were resting after eating, the waiter asked if we wanted some cantaloupe or apples. We thought it was free, but he didn't tell us to buy it! At the end of the checkout, I found that the cantaloupe costs 5980 peso! Adding 10% service fee, the total cantaloupe is 6600! Very bad dining experience. I have never eaten such an expensive cantaloupe in my life!

June 2, 2018 We invited our Japanese friends to try this restaurant so I made a reservation for Teppanyaki Table for a great dining experience. We ordered 3 Chef Okochi's Angus and Wagyu Steak Course (Steaks in Medium Rare) (Php 3,500/course) and 1 Okonomiyaki for our little Japanese friend. We started with appetizers. The course includes 4 varieties of starters. It has sweet tamago, salmon sushi, chicken balls, beans, a prawn, a fish and mixed veggies. I'm not expecting much with the appetizers so everything on my plate was just fine. Next was the fresh salad which I really like. It was sprinkled with lots of parmesan cheese. 😍 I fell inlove with the grilled scallop during my first visit here and when I saw it again on my plate, this time with Sea Urchin sauce, I was too excited to try it and I was still impressed with how delicious it was. I like the Grilled Jumbo Prawn with Lemon Truffle Oil as well as the Salmon Eggs. Before the mains, Okonomiyaki was served. This is the best tasting Okonomiyaki so far. Before I finished my Okonomiyaki, they served the mains. That time I was already full but still I have to fight to finish the battle. Mains were served together with the garlic rice and miso soup. Steaks were so tender and juicy. The garlic rice was so good. Likewise with the miso soup. Lastly, Japanese sweets were served together with our coffee and tea. We had Matcha Tiramisu Cake, fruit jellies and a cookie. Overall dining experience was excellent. We were given an exceptional customer service. Aside from that, they gave us a complimentary T-shirt which we really appreciate. Will be back soon! 😊 Initial post: Best teppanyaki restaurant in the city! 👌🏻😃 We ordered Business Lunch Course and Ladies Lunch Course from the menu. We really enjoyed everything they served on our table. They have the best okonomiyaki ever! 👌🏻 The seafoods were of great quality and were delicious especially scallops😊 will revisit definitely! ❤️

I thought it would be a great restaurant to go on a romantic date. Instead of an evening of romance by the time I got home it was vomiting and diarrhea every 20 minutes for about 8 hours, followed by about 3 days of diarrhea. I reached out to the restaurant three times to inquire about a refund for food poisoning, was ignored the first time, blown off the second time, and told manager would have to investigate it the third time. I have helpfully included pictures of both the meal and the vomiting and diarrhea to assist in their investigation.

Very pricey and doesn’t feel clean. The table, menus are sticky. The menu is has every kind of Japanese food, which makes me wonder if they can focus and make all those variety of dishes tasty. After a couple of overpriced beers we left without eating.

Classy Japanese Teppanyaki bar located in a nice office building in BGC. Must try is the Wagyu beef which melts in your mouth. The only (slight) downside I could think of is that the staff behind the teppanyaki grill kept conversing and teaching each other what to do which kinda put a blemish on the wonderful ambiance. For sashimi lovers, look out for their Toro which is the Tuna belly. Quite expensive but you'll love how buttery that piece of sashimi tastes. Update: May 2021 Finally got to eat here again after almost 2 years. Wagyu Beef Teppanyaki is still the bomb! However, I discovered that their Spicy Beef Tsukemen is another amazing dish. This is another must try at this restaurant. Oh, and this time we were at one of their private rooms. Worked well as we're in the midst of a pandemic and I really didn't want to be seated in a public area.

One of my favorite Japanese restaurants in BGC - the menu is humongous, and most dishes I have tried is of outstanding quality. I like how you can have your own private room that seats 4.

Quality of food is really delicious and amazing, but the preparation time for the food is quite too long. It deserves for 5 stars for overall evaluation.

First time to dine here in November 2022 after being a BGC employee since 2017. This after a colleague has mentioned that he loved their seaweed wraps (I forget the name). We went early at 11.40am to avoid the lunch crowd and our orders came at around 12:20, which took quite a while, we thought. The menu was comprehensive with different Japanese dishes but I guess their specialty is teppan (hence the name). I tried their shoyu ramen...the most basic (read: cheapest) ramen on the menu. It wasn't the best and I thought I could have tried other items. One more thing, the servers misserved a plate of gyoza to my colleague, which was supposed to be mine. They recognized the mistake even though my seatmate finished the plate already and gave me a new one. That's a plus for customer service. Will visit again and try their beef dishes.

This restaurant disrespects the Japanese tradition of excellent service and quality. The food was subpar, at best, especially considering that we ordered the Japanese “Imported” chirashi. The only good food that was served was the yakitori plate, an appetizer that even came in second to one of the main courses, a sashimi platter. The welcome was insincere and the farewell was non-existent. Definitely, not coming back.

Overall, a great selection of Teppanyaki items including a lot of specialty imported products from Japan. An authentic experience with good service. The menu has a nice balance of moderately priced items as well as indulging premium items. Will definitely go again.

Excellent place to sample A5 Japanese wagyu. Eat my the teppanyaki table for the full experience. Pricey, but the chefs sticklers for quality -- if the ingredients or food preparation are not up to their standards, they'll willingly re-do it, no questions asked, right in front of you.

At dinner the atmosphere is dark and the space is cramped and sticky, and the staff seem bored and uninterested in their jobs which only adds to the lousiness of the overall atmosphere. The menu boasts many, many dishes that you can't find in other Japanese restaurants, but it feels as if they hope they hope their customers don't know what they are supposed to be eating because the actual quality of the ingredients is subpar, which is the exact opposite of the core tenant of Japanese cooking. That said, the cooking itself is not terrible, just not great. The unagi was boring, the spinach and uni is too salty, and the warabi mochi was not nearly as melt-in your mouth as it should have been.

Worst restaurant ever - food is average and customer service is appalling! It took forever to take our order and they forgot 2 of our orders and the restaurant was not even full. The branch in Rockwell is slightly better but not far off. Please don’t even try this restaurant - it’s not worth your valuable time and energy!
