My daughter and I just completed a two week stay at the Dalai La Boutique Hotel, and it was wonderful all around. The staff, especially Abhi and the other front desk staff, were outstanding and made sure all of our needs were met. The restaurant and bar provided excellent food and service. The room was comfortable with air conditioning and hot showers. We made use of the well-equipped gym and yoga room as well. The hotel staff assisted us with car travel and made recommendations of places to visit during our stay in Kathmandu. Despite being in the heart of Thamel, the hotel is a quiet oasis, offering outstanding music, and a peaceful, setting to relax after a busy day exploring the city. I would highly recommend this lovely hotel.

Hotel is very clean, a mix of Nepali culture with a modern Western twist to it. Staff are amazing and will do anything to please the customer. Food is way more than I expected, and at night a local band plays music and sings, such a nice hotel

We went here for breakfast and everything was really good. The ambience was really amazing so were the staffs. The ladies in the front desk in cultural attire were so friendly and welcoming. They explained us everything about the hotel and showed us around in such a good manner. Regretfully, we were staying at another hotel and it was the last day of our trip and couldn't stay here. But we will definitely stay here on our next vacation. We are looking forward to our stay here.

Dalai-La Boutique Hotel in Kathmandu is a true masterpiece of hospitality. Its fusion of traditional Nepali aesthetics with modern comfort creates an ambiance that's both charming and inviting. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. The attention to detail in every aspect, from the decor to the service, is truly commendable. The room was a haven of comfort, elegantly furnished and impeccably clean. The staff's genuine hospitality made me feel like a valued guest, and their local insights added an extra dimension to my stay. With its central location, exploring the city's cultural riches was a breeze. My experience at Dalai-La Boutique Hotel was nothing short of exceptional, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable stay in Kathmandu.

I recently spent another fantastic week at The Dalai-La Boutique Hotel. The staff are so welcoming, friendly and incredibly helpful - they always ensure that all of my needs are met. They all made my stay very enjoyable. The hotel is a quiet oasis away from the noise and traffic of the busy Thamel streets. Its design and decoration creates a relaxed atmosphere, particularly in the central courtyard, a great place to start the day with an excellent breakfast - the best in Kathmandu. I highly recommend the Tofu Scrambled and the Veggie Omelette. My room was extremely comfortable, a perfect balance between modern and traditional styles. The hotel has a spa, yoga room and a well-equipped gym for anyone who wants to work out or be pampered. It is also easy to explore the neighbourhood as the hotel is in the heart of Thamel. I can't wait for my next stay at The Dalai-La. It will always be my go to hotel in Kathmandu. A big thank you to Prem and his team for making it feel like home every time I stay there - looking forward to seeing everyone again on my next trip.

Hotel Dalai La is a charming boutique hotel located in the Thamel area of Katmandu. The hotel is a tranquil retreat within the bustling and chaos of everyday life of Katmandu. You are immediately welcomed by a warm and accommodating staff. The rooms are very spacious, the open air lobby offers a peaceful and serene retreat for an early morning tea and afternoon rest. The entire service staff, the restaurant, front desk, and room service is top notch. I highly recommend this hotel.

This place has fast service, but it's not the prettiest nor the best deal. Some of the linen and towels were ready for replacement. The hotel windows have no screens and they are needed. This place fumigates regularly so a bit of insecticide smell in the halls. Walking around, I found myself eating at other hotels and enjoying their service more.

Pizza @699 was great. Best pizza in Kathmandu. The size of pizza was big. It was enough for 2 people and paid just 700 for it. Regular price was around 1000 but got to know that every Wednesday they sell for only 699 and you can order any toppings veg or non veg. The place is so beautiful. Very spacious and calm. Loved it. Best hotel in Kathmandu. Thank you for your kind hospitality dalalia

We had our first dinner in Nepalat this hotel’s very nice restaurant. Binod has served us in the most gentle and careful way, providing not only good advices about what to eat, but also about what to see in the city and the surroundings. The menu is adapt to all tastes, ranging from western to Nepali-thali typical food! Super appreciated, we will come back for sure!

Stayed here a few times now. Great rooms and staff. The food is pricier than on the local streets but its bloody good stuff! No problems with this place. There is a gym and a health spa to get those needed massages.

We always take the time to spend a night or 2 after a trek. The traditional architecture is amazing and we love sitting in the courtyard listening to the music and just taking it all in. The food is always clean and delicious and the service is excellent. There aren't many hotels you actually look forward to staying in but this is definitely one. Can't wait for our next stay.
