Had coffee here after lunch at the Famous Pie shop just up the road. Interesting Café with a large grassed area out the front with tables and play equipment for kids. We sat up near the building on a lovely sunny, mid week day. Seating is available inside a bright and cheery space, as well as what looks like a function area/room towards the rear of the building. Staff were young but super friendly and professional with great customer service and product knowledge of the colourful assortment of cakes in the display cabinet. We had a Latte, Iced Coffee and an Espresso shot. All were excellent with obviously high quality, fresh beans used in the making. The one cake we had was gorgeous, and very tasty, going perfectly with our coffees. Apparently the Café is a training experiment of some sort for local youth, but I definitely didn't have that feeling. For me it was a professionally presented, unique looking Café with great staff, ambiance and coffee.

Lovely cafe with tasty coffee. We love that they are also dog friendly. We had coffees and a cake and all was delicious. Staff are really nice also. Great spot for a little break after exploring the town.

We tried Social Foundry for the first time today and it looks like it’ll be our default place to go for a gluten free midday meal when we are in the area. My wife is a coeliac, so it is critical that she avoids gluten. There were quite a few gf options and the staff were incredibly switched on in terms of dietary issues. They were a lovely young bunch and the operation is 100% free from profit with proceeds going to support local youth opportunities. For us, it’s such an obvious win/win and great to know that you’re supporting the local youth. We’ll be back for sure!

Great cafe that’s a social enterprise helping youth at risk. Nice one guys! Excellent coffee by Motobean, including a single origin. The food here include toasties and daily specials. The egg & bacon bun was great! A big plus to Kyneton!

Neighborhood brunch with your pooch? Check into social Foundry, bringing life to classic Aussie brunch food, talking about egg Benny, big brekkie, toasties et cetera, and a wake-me-up to-die4 coffee, coming from a Melbournite foodie. Ambience and the staff are top.

Two stars because the staff are very friendly and polite otherwise i would be looking for the negative stars. I was looking forward to trying a triple decker or an open souvlaki... not on the menu any more so I could have mushrooms, vegetarian something or other, a burger or something full of dairy... I don't mind paying for good food but this was not even close to good food, soggy chips and what seemed like a square processed patty of meat on a bun with lettuce, tomato, bacon and relish... all for $30 then they overcharged me for the burger my eating companion had, but they overcharged in a friendly way so maybe that should be a friendly -2 stars instead.

Great social enterprise cafe with an amazing mission. You don’t have to put up with bad coffee either, the coffee and food are all top notch. The staff are really friendly efficient and helpful. There is lots of outdoor seating and the perfect spot to meet with friends on a beautiful spring day.

What a lovely surprise! This not firorifit cafe which trains young people in waiting etc is not only an interesting and attractive venue, but the menu pleased everyone in our party of four adults and four children. My brekky wrap was large and chockfull of egg, bacon, spinach, tomato, avocado and lovely relish. Delicious! Other meals were a veggie toastie with pumpkin roasted pumpkin roast of your thing yeah roasted pumpkin, caramelised onion, feta and spinach and was devoured with delight. And our vegan had a big breakfast without egg or bacon. Huge and delicious. The kids all opted for kids pancake with maple syrup and icecream with one adding berries which she loved. The service was very good and very pleasant. We will definitely wheat here again when next in Kyneton.

👍 I can’t stop thinking about the Crispy Half Chicken! Fook Shing is a beautiful place to eat great food and be with loved ones. It was such a happy vibe for a Saturday lunch.
