New owners are actually pleasant ! You’re now not made to feel like you’re inconveniencing them by ordering food. Makes the place feed so much better. Foods good too, plus now it’s not cash only

Best fish & chips & hamburger with the lot EVER. Minimum chips was hugest! So fresh crisp & delicious. Super busy but the team kept pumping out the food. Well done.

We just had the best ever "steak sandwiches with the lot" from here, on the way home to Melbourne. The shop is located in the main street just opposite the Rotunda. Now I have to work out how I can get back here again fir another one😋

Good chips, potato cakes and chicken dummies, didn't have any steamed dummies left when I got there but it was lateish to be fair. The food was good and I wouldn't hesitate to go back when I'm in or going through Beaufort.

New owners were very nice, made a delicious burger. The patty was really fresh and home made (gorme). Chips were crispy and crunchy, just how I liked them. But that burger ... omg ... I don't think I have had a burger like that that wasn't home made before

Ordered fish and crab sticks for lunch. Order taken professionally, executed perfectly by Chef Caitlyn. A perfect 11/10. We will definitely be back.

Lovely new owners. Very friendly staff and the chips are to die for. Thinner style chips - crispy on the outside, soft on the inside - Had a very nice hamburger too. Credit Cards now excepted.

This place is under new management, and is sooooo much better now! It could get 5 stars if it stoped using those stupid plastic sauce packets and instead had free tomato, aioli, mustard etc… in big squirty bottles so you can help your self! Id be happy to pay a little extra for my fish and chips if there was free sauce! If you keep it right in front of the register people won’t abuse it. Plus you would be saving the planet by avoiding plastic waste!

Good food good service. Big portions! Larger chips would feed two people. Beef burger with the lot is a great choice.
