Delicious! You don't have to interact with anybody to order here and you can do it at your own pace as you order with a screen and a sliding tray automatically brings you your order. Everything taste-wise was delicious and satisfyingly filling. My only gripe is that the octopus was too cooked in the takoyaki (octopus balls) and therefore tough. Everything else was great! The chili edamame beans were good and the volcano sushi rolls were the best. We ate for 2 people there for $87.

Pleasantly surprised with this cool little gem. The food isn't cheap, but the quality was high to match. We tried several dishes including the moist yet crisp Karaage Chicken (so much so that we ordered a second), prawn sushi roll, takoyaki, soft shell crab, pork belly nigiri. Fun to have the food and drinks delivered to the table on the special train, the novelty certainly added to the atmosphere and enjoyment of the place. I reckon this will become a regular on our travels through Ballarat.

I have been here a few times now and each time the experience has been really pleasant. We haven't had any issues with the quality of the food. Each dish we've had has been good and there isn't anything we've been disappointed by. The sashimi was on point, really loved the pork belly slice, the seared nigri was really nice, and the chilli/volcano tuna was great. The prawn sushi dish quantity is massive, you can see that in the photos. The little train delivery system is very entertaining. Great experience overall! The closest thing to a good quality sushi train we have in Ballarat.

I find this place a good choice for Japanese food when you feel like you wanna try something different not just sushi roll all the time. there are so many different dishes you would want to try. But the thing is every dish is not so big and it comes with the price. You might have to pay a bit to make your stomach full overall was a great experience

Fantastic little place - particularly good if you like to dine solo or don't feel like interacting with people. Ordering via the tablet and the delivery of your meals and beverages via the sushi train is quite a novelty. There is better Japanese food around, however, for the price point, was definitely acceptable and will dine there again. Some more beef options on the menu would be advantageous.

Food tastes great, the waygu beef is a must try out of all. The only down fall is that the menu doesn't have much choices, and its slightly pricey. Overall, definitely worth a visit ✌🏼

Tried this place out for the first time out of curiosity, it was delicious and exceeded my expectations. The general ambience was comfortable and relaxed. I love the idea of seeing and ordering your items on a wall mounted iPad. Menu has a good variety of sushi items, a handful using meat instead of fish if you're not into fish. You can also see the items you have ordered and keep an eye on your bill as you order, as well as call for assistance if need be. They also have Gluten Free and Vegetarian items on the menu. This place has a trendy Melbourne feeling which is nice if you want to go somewhere a bit 'hip' and experience something different. It wasn't busy when I dined there but they didn't open until 11:30. Overall I enjoyed this experience and would happily go again. I ordered four 'small' items with a coke but was quite content at the end. I was leaving feeling hungry 👌

This place put a smile on my face. All of the food was good, and some of the dishes were excellent. Look out for the volcano rolls, they're definitely worth trying. As were the steamed gyoza. But the pièce de résistance was the tuna which was expertly seared on the outside and fresh on the inside. Pair with some plumb wine and you've got yourself a great time.

Have loved the Kosaten in Launceston so was eager to try this one in Ballarat too! Quite a number of booth seats all with tracks for food to be delivered to the table via a motorized plate. The kids loved watching the food come out and “returning” the plate with a tap of a button. Food is high quality and delicious with a special mention of the fried prawn roll and the nigiri set. Definitely worth a visit

Yummy food. Food is delivered to your table by a food train. Quick and easy to order at your table via a touch screen. Keeping track of what and how much you spend at the touch of a button. Assistance, if required, is just a press of the bell away. Friendly service.
