Community garden

👍👍 This place is wonderful! It makes you happy that the community will willingly share their time to volunteer and to share the fruits of their labour. I for one, will be leaving jars and any excess veggies here. THANK YOU

Awesome initiative. Bar the free plants, seeds, organic vegetables & fruit - the people you meet are lovely. Thanks to whoever runs this. Fabulous idea.

Exchange produce, pick some fresh herbs or strawberries, and be part of the alternative food movement. A hidden gem in Ballarat.

What a wonderful , wonderful, generous idea was this for Ballarat. Congratulations to the amazing woman who dreamt and made it happen. It has continued to expand and grow rapidly involving so many generous people with diverse skills volunteering regularly.

Good free stuff, if you need jars or plastic pots. Free herbs and seeds. Its luck of the draw when it comes to vegies and fruit but you just have to go and see!

Fantastic concept, appalling execution! Using fear, bullying tactics to promote untruth. How petty and so sad a decent conversation regarding the topic initially instigated can't be followed through. Instead they resort to bullying and the use of international irrelevant information to try to support said untruth. When called out of their BS they just abuse you, then bravely attack you so you have no right of reply as they continue to use irrelevant bs to support their irrelevant lives. Hopefully it will be taken over by someone with intelligence and integrity. Until then be warned don't disagree with them you shall also be ridiculed, bullied and abused by these heroes!

Great laneway to drop off excess produce and recyclable items for other people to access. Great invention by Lou Risdale and really needs to be recognised as a worthy Ballarat citizen.

I love volunteering here! I only have to comitt to one shift a week - or if you wanted, you could volunteer as much as you like. I have learnt loads during the short time I have been volunteering here. The other volunteers are amazing, and I get to chat to a lot of locals! Please, if you haven't 'checked' this place out, please do so! There are so many different fruits; veggies; and herbs that people have been sharing!

Even though it's winter the gardens are laid out, sampled some herbs & met 2 new people. Permaculture friend from Melbourne very impressed. Look forward to spring
