This is the worst customer experience I have ever encountered. I ordered a part to be told it would take a week to come in. After a few months and 3 phone calls later. I have still not received my item. This whole time waiting I had not received any communication at all. Even after they promised me to call the distributor and give me an update. Nothing but crickets. So I made another call and cancelled my order. I am still waiting to be reimbursed my money and it is now 3 weeks later. No money has gone back into my account. I will never make a purchase from this store again. Worst customer service i have ever experienced.

This is purely a review on the gunsmithing section. I’ve used them a number of times and had issues every time. The first rifle took three trips before they could get even the most simple repairs right. 1hr drive each way only to find they basically hadn’t repaired it. The last occasion took the cake though. They marred up and scratched my BRAND NEW rifle’s receiver finish obviously with poor handling in a vice or similar. Unfortunately I didn’t realise until the next time I got it out. It’s an $8500 rifle with a finish that can’t be repaired. I wouldn’t trust these “gunsmiths” with a rusty pipe let alone a valuable rifle. There are other options out there which I now know… definitely use one of those.

Great helpful Staff. Impressive stock. Prompt service. Interesting Museum, lots of history, so much to see. Amazing displays throughout the store.

Hey guy’s, I had my LA101 worked on and collected today and to only find that the bolt could not be removed. After making a further journey back to your store to have corrected I was met by one of your team. I have been coming to Mialls for close to ten years and have spent thousands in your store. The guy from the workshop was absolutely amazing and is a credit to your staff. He was understanding within the situation and proceeded to successfully rectifying the issue. He was professional and extremely respectful and offered some ammo as some form of compensation for the inconvenience caused. I did decline his generosity as the offer and his professional manner was compensation enough. You find out heaps about a company when things go wrong and you guy’s certainly went above and beyond. So here’s to the next 10yrs and a few more thousands to spend with you. Many thanks👍 Gary.

Called in y'day with a couple of minor problems with 2 shot guns. John Kenyon could not have been more friendly and so helpful. Spoke to the lads in the shop while I waited who were also friendly. Great place to look at a good selection of new and older guns. Many thanks for the absolutely excellent all-around service !!

Don't have the range they had before COVID19 shame they had great deals back then. The staff actually didn't ask if we needed any help this time l went, nobody came near you and the staff talking to each other so we left. Seemed they didn't want our business so l saved my money instead.

**UPDATE ** No confusion as stated in your email $175.00 for a" firearms transfer" as you pointed out when receipts were produced. Still a huge RIP off. ** ORIGINAL MESSAGE ** A huge RIP off . Charges $175.00 for a transfer when others range from $40 to $100. Will NOT use them go there again.

It's pretty sad when you walk into this place and are told "everyone is too busy to help you" Fine, I won't be spending another cent in this place and I've spent in the 10s of thousands with Mialls..... get some sales staff who know the difference between dovetail and picatinny.

Staff member told me I could put a deposit down on a gun unseen and see if it would work for me. It was nothing like I wanted. 20% money taken when I backed out. Never again will I shop here again.

Did my safety course for firearms they where fantastic, after that I got my firearms licence and was help with what recommended firearms to start with, all in all just a good time and good team down there

Dropped into Miall’s gun shop and ran into John and got talking about one of my guns. He offered to make a couple of measurements then and there despite being a very busy man. Was much appreciated. Always a good experience with all of the team at Mialls. Highly recommended.

A large store with a very diverse selection of items available. Customer service was timely, but found that some staff lacked knowledge on specific products.

Don't ever put anything on backorder with this Mob. Literally took a year to get a refund after they failed to deliver the product. Told me on numerous occasions that they would refund to my account but failed to do so. I had to get my Credit Card company involved and open a case against them. My CC company eventually ruled in my favor but I don't know to this day if they got to keep my hard earned. Avoid like the plague!

Faced with the difficult task of sorting out my deceased fathers firearms the guys were nothing but fair. They recognised my father from his firearm licence and I felt their prices reflected the respect that came from knowing him. They made the task easy.

I have had great experiences at Mialls gun shop. I dealt with John Mialls , from as far back as 2009. Back then I purchased my first R8 pro success, and I wanted my trigger to be a little lighter. The R8's are extremely hard to do. John bent over backwards to get my trigger at just the right weight. More recently I had John (other John) do some repairs and modifications to my other R8's and barrels.once again outstanding work and care taken.This shop is 100km away from me and would happily travel. Thank you for great service.

I cannot recommend mialls enough, they have been so welcoming and happy to help with any questions I have. Special shout out to Lauren and Cam, they are absolutely assets to this company and are happy to go above and beyond to help and develop a customer relationship that has lead to multiple more purchases with them.

Massive store with the right people doing everything they can to help their customers. Unfortunately their handgun counter is dismal probably a 900x500 glass case with a few second hand guns. For the size of Mialls gunshop a decent counter would be great and make a good destination for handgun shooters. I've also found this store to be out of 9mm ammo on a couple of occasions too. This rating is specific to my needs but if you're looking for anything to do with longarms and hunting, these guys have you covered.

Great customer service , all ways been attended too with a happy friendly staff member. Great selection of equipment. I could spend hours in this shop window shopping.

Completed a firearm safety course here. Very knowledgeable, great information and offered great support to complete the process to gain a firearm licence. Walked out feeling a lot more confident than before. Highly recommend. Staff was giving customers tentative service and wasn’t rushing them even though it was close to closing time. Good service that’s not as common these days.
