Spent 3 days travelling Hampi with my partner and we had the real pleasure of being shown around by Vijay. He’s a super friendly guy, local to the area and keen to show off the beautiful surroundings. He knows all the best places to go at the best times of day, shares interesting information, and is all around great company. He has a beautiful new and safe tuktuk, his famous “Susan”, which was a comfortable and secure way to get around from place to place. In addition to the amazing temples, stunning sunsets, and great little cafes and restaurants, we really enjoyed getting to know Vijay. He is a reliable, informative, and fun guide to the city, and a stand-up gentleman working hard for his family. Couldn’t recommend highly enough!

We definitely recommend Vijay for your trip in Hampi. He put together a fantastic itinerary for us and showed us all the best sights in Hampi. The highlight of our trip was both evenings when he took us to some special spots for sunset. Some of the most magical experiences of our lives. I spent 2 whole days with Vijay and Susan (his beloved tuk tuk) and I have to say it was some of the most interesting and fascinating days in my 62 years that I have enjoyed most. What can I add that people have not already posted about their own experiences with Vijay. I wish there were more stars to give Vijay because you deserve every single one of them. In England we have a saying "The proof is in the pudding" meaning that with nearly 200 5 star Google reviews is testament to that. Vijay I contacted you 10 months ago as a customer and we parted yesterday as friends. You collected me from the bus stop in Hospet at 4.30am and took me to some amazing places on day 1 including cafes for refreshments finishing day 1 at 6.30pm with the sunset. Day 2 was just as amazing if not more amazing because you took me to your home and introduced me to your family. It was a pleasure and an honour for me and I thank you kindly. Anyone reading this you seriously do not need to look any further for a tuk tuk driver and guide Vijay is the person you need to contact. Vijay is a smart kind reliable genuine sincere and knowledgable professional. He is an extremely safe and cautious driver who is well known and respected in the Hampi area. Vijay found my mum and I, confused on the street after the bus dropped us off at 3am somewhere we weren’t familiar with. Vijay immediately made us feel safe, and helped us find our way to our hotel. He then spent 3 days with us structuring our first time in Hampi to ensure we saw and experienced everything this beautiful place had to offer. He started off as our auto driver and became family to us. He is fair, reliable, punctual, trustworthy, FUN! and honest. He knows all the best spots and makes you feel very at home in hampi. Great English, friendly and charming personality, very safe driver, and a very experienced tour guide. He's happy to go to at your pace and created a perfect three day tour for us, including all the major sights and attractions of Hampi. He is even happy to do very early tours - he recommended starting at 6am on one day to beat the crowds on the heat, so we saw a sunrise and explored many temples when no other visitors were around.
