Really liked the store earthbound. I shopped there twice. I noticed, however, that I was asked to keep the things I was holding at the register at my second visit. I was only holding two items. Definitely felt like I was being watched as if I intended to steal. I was really disappointed. Won’t be back to this store, but thankfully I am able to purchase items directly from their website.

Well mostly I go there for Costco. However, having been raised in the area it is not only a nice place to shop but has great memories for me. When I was a teenager they build Wheaton Plaza. It was the first pedestrian only shopping center. Before that I had only shopped in downtown Silver Spring or DC. You had to dodge cars crossing the street. This was brand new. In the early days it wasn't enclosed. It had a boardwalk or at least that's how I remember it. It was so fun to shop there. My first job was working at the Fannie May candy store, I loved it. We went there for shopping, dining and movies. Now, of course, it is Westfield Wheaton and is an enclosed mall like so many others, also nice.

This mall needs some serious investors to revamped it. It such a waist of time going there, the few little stores that are inside this building is not cutting it seriously. Here is a big spacious mall but lacks buyers attentions wants to spend their hard earn money. It was a waist of my time going here, this mall needs some top of the line stores inside their.

Costco and Costco food court in a mall- what else could you ask for? Oh, and there's a parking garage for Costco.

Been coming here since my childhood nothing has changed except for the variety of stores to choose from. Best thing is that they have 5 below now which is to me the biggest one in the area.

Beware - Not child friendly. The GameStop manager, Anthony Comentale, has been know to cause problems with children. The security here at the mall also supports Anthony and his power-trips. It's best to keep your children far away from here as possible.

Pretty decent mall, I like that it has a lot of parking and parking just for Costco. It’s a great place to hang out since you can shop and there are a lot of good food places around there.

It was ok. I just felt like a lot of people were a lil rude. Asking for help or just bumping into you and just keep walking. Or the guy backing out and almost hitting one of my kids. Not sure if he was not a careful driver. Or that parking garage needs more lighting. It was my first time going in this mall. But everything else was great.

The center is getting up there in age and it shows. The parking lots are getting choppy with bumps and repairs from years gone by. The tenant selection is just ok. No super anchors. Just COSTCO and Target. There is the typical mall fair inside that hold no interest for me. Plenty of parking which may be a sign of things not so good. Access from the main roadway is always pretty good. At rush hour it can be a chore to make the lights getting in or out.

Great shops. It's winning during a dying era. God I remember being a mall rat in my early teens back in the 90s. Malls are dropping left and right I really hope this one stays solid and keeps there doors open.

It's got everything you need but you can also get stabbed or shot. Keep your whits about you and eyes peeled and you should be able to survive a trip to the mall. Bullet proof vest won't hurt. The potential for violence is part of the charm and fun of a trip to Wheaton Plaza.

We were here for the little carnival that was in town . I enjoyed walking around with family friends and watching the different rides. It was kind of expensive just seeing we are just coming out of 2years of the pandemic. Otherwise I enjoyed being outside in the fresh air. Shopping was interesting and fun on the inside of the all. Lots of people enjoying themselves both inside and outside of the mall.

Have you been wishing for an opportunity to learn patience? Then try parking at Costco Westfield in Wheaton. Need to meditate? Try standing in one of many Target Westfield's lines. The UPS Store is easily accessible and has friendly staff. Generally, this a busy, at times chaotic commercial retail development with virtually any retail store you may need, including a theatre. There was ONLY a couple carjackings recently so that's good.

Excellent security staff. Left mall late on a weekday and I approached two young male security staff. They were extremely pleasant and one offered and escorted me to the parking lot. It was cold and employee did not have a coat; but he was very concerned of my safety. Thank you!

Has a variety of stores and restaurants/ eateries to meet ones needs. I wish they had a least one kosher restaurant there, it would make things much easier for me anyhow. They have stores such as Costco, Macys, DSW, Carters, and Children’s Place. They also have an ok area for kids to play.

Great experience. I did get lost a time or two. But that was probably my fault Nevertheless, I found the perfect handbag in Macy's. The nail salon provided superb service without waiting. The mall was bustling. I was thrilled that it's not dying as so many malls are.

Hadn't been there in 10 - 15 years since before retiring, just there taking my great nephews school shopping, I got some pretty good bargains and we had most of the stores to ourselves! I loved it! 🥰🥰❤

Alot of malls are dry or closing but this one was popping on a Saturday. I found my all white look here for the club. At Olive Ole you couldn't try on the white, had to find a darker color but they had alot of M/LG, out of alot of Smalls so I had to keep looking.

Great shopping mall but the only downside is the parking garage by the metro station. Too many goons hanging inside that garage. I would advise all decent citizens to take all nessary precautions if you are parking in that garage or just walking through it to and from the mall.

It’s a good mall I would say especially since there’s not a lot of these type anymore. Lots of stores and options and pretty well set up. However some areas of it are a little disorganized, not as clean, or too many people

  • 4/5 Elizabeth R. 9 months ago on Google
There's lots of good shops here but the roads and parking lots are in rough shape. And sometimes it's hard to get in and out of the mall because of the traffic patterns. But once you're there, you've got lots to do!

Great mall, love that they have a five below and h&m. Also there is a target! Only negative is that they have some reeeeally random stores id never go into and the food court is lacking slightly compared to westfield bethesda.

Has all the basic stores, and is improving its decor. But it feels like a bottom tier mall, and the aesthetic leaves a lot to be desired. Still, it serves the community well.

Omg, I love Costco hadn't been in years. Wanted to buy everything I saw😅 The pies are delicious got Apple & Pumpkin for Thanksgiving. I tasted the frozen Tempura Shrimp so good. Definitely returning.

Good hours and variety of stores as well as a movie theater and dining. Ample parking but it tends to get crowded around the anchoring stores that are close together and most of the parking garages aren't visible from the entrances.

I like this mall. Before working here I wasn't a mall person but this mall has done a good job at keeping stores that are relevant to the people in the area. They still have mall events to bring people out and fun stuff for kids. They are opening a five and below soon which goes perfect with everything else. Metro is across the street, they have restaurants , a decent food court and department stores at every end. Plenty of beauty and barber shops also a lot of local business in the area of the mall.

When I first moved her, I really loved this mall but recently it seems they have been losing some of their stores. Now, there is not much for a selection related to the places I like to shop for clothes. Also, their stores close at weird time now. I went in on a Friday evening and several stores were closed at 830p, I understand it's winter. But dang! It's the weekend who is not at least open until 10p?!

Target and Costco are fine, but everything else is kinda bleh. Your larger mall retailers like Hollister, Bath and Body Works, American Eagle, etc have significantly less merchandise than other malls and significantly smaller. A lot of this mall needs a remodel pretty badly, and some of the stores have mice issues. There’s just better shopping experiences around.

Since moving to Silver Spring MD in August of 2021 this mall has probably become my most frequent retail destination. This mall is a very busy place because of all of the popular stores on the malls 2 floors and the anchor stores that are attached to it. For starters there is Target & Costco. My daughter & son-in-law have a Costco membership. Their brand is called Kirkland. We have tried a lot of their large and prepackaged multi pack healthy meats including the sausage, hamburger & chicken. The price of the sausage is very good and the flavor is great. Their pizzas with cauliflower crust were smaller, not as tasty & a bit more expensive. My daughter often buys large containers of fresh berries at Costco & yet they still seem to disappear fast. They are very popular with my 2 grandchildren. And we can't forget the Kirkland toilet paper.

I was only disappointed they didn't have any wheelchairs. It's not fair to disabled persons that because someone damage one chair, that you have none. I don't have a car to transport my own chair so this was sad that I had to roll around the mall in a Cosco basket. This is still my favorite mall, still full and vibrant. So glad so many stores are still open.

Good mall with an interesting selection and your average staples like Hot topic or spencers. But interestingly there's also a target and a Costco. I really like the food court here and they have a really good selection.

This has been my go to Mall forever. It's a good vibe, and overall the people who work here are nice. Lots of parking and pretty good stores. I would say they should renovate, especially since Montgomery Mall's food court is so much better.

As a resident of Washington D.C., I found myself in need of a reliable and trustworthy repair shop to fix my laptop, which contained a significant amount of important information. After reaching out to various locations, I was disappointed to learn that they were unable to assist me. I had previously had a terrible experience with another shop that claimed to be able to perform the necessary micro soldering repair, only to make the issue worse. I was initially hesitant when I was approached by a repair shop in Virginia, as they quoted me an exorbitant fee of $400. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I learned about Smartfix in Wheaton Mall, who assured me that they could fix my laptop for under $120, and offered a guarantee that I wouldn't be charged if they were unable to repair it. I was further impressed by the positive reviews and my experience with the two knowledgeable and professional technicians at Smartfix. Within an hour, my laptop was fully repaired and I was charged only $80. I highly recommend Smartfix for their excellent customer service, affordability, and exceptional repair capabilities. I am now a fan of this mall and hope to see these two gentlemen continue to flourish in their field. Tony and Sam are the best!! Thank you Wheaton

People begging near the Costco… folks digging through trash in the food court. This mall has gone completely downhill. But the demographic of the shoppers has also changed greatly in the last 10 years so I guess huh? I think it needs new management immediately.

Clean and accessible mall. A lot of dining/restaurants and other stores. Usually, we go here to shop at Costco and department stores and also to eat at our favorite fast-food chains

This is a small/medium sized mall with plenty of shops to choose from, there's JC Penney at one end which has easy walking access to Wheaton Metro Station. At the other end is a two floor Target that has grocery on the upper level. It feels quieter just after lunch time on a week day afternoon, but is good if you have an hour to go and pick up things you need.

We were loyal customers to JCP. My wife and my daughter (5 years old) went to JCP to buy Fathers' day stuffs at the Wheaton MD location on last Friday and in between my daughter ranaway into the food court and her mom tried to get her at the gate but the alarm made a sound. The security guard disrespectfully hold my wife and daughter. My wife tried to explain the situation, but they disrespectfully mistreated my wife and 5yrs old daughter, SAD! We decided to return back the JCP credit card and cancel our membership with JCP, Costco & LA fitness!!!

12/8/23 - 12pm ,Wheaton Mall Security upper level next to Macy's told me i could not park in a handicap spot that was being held for one of their employees. MCPD that was on sight told me to remove the cone and park. Mall security had a problem with that and told me he was going to speak to the officer (ok) , he never did. Stop having your employees save handicap spots for their co-workers. They need to be trained on the American Disabilities ACT going forward.
