Roughly 20 minutes from Dingle and well worth a trip. It's so beautiful. You can get a boat from here to the Blasket Islands during the summer months.

Google Maps are NOT wrong. Warning ❗️ Do not try and drive down to Dunquin Pier - this driver tried to blame Google map’s telling me it took him down the footpath to the pier - I’ve checked, Google Maps clearly stops at the public car park above the pier. Every year someone try’s to drive down to the pier in their car - you simply can’t do it !!

One of photogenic spot and an essential stopping point during your journey through the Dingle Peninsula. The views from top of the cliffs is mesmerizing. If you want to have a good walk along the cliffs then this place is must to go. The only draw back I found is there is no Public Toilets, so when you are going for a walk along with kids and aged person keep this in mind.

I dont know how to describe how this place made me feel, but it was one of, if not my favorite place I visited in Ireland. Maybe it was the rare good weather I experienced but something about this view and area felt so peaceful and tranquil and I couldve spent all day just sitting there

One of the greatest places you can see on the Ring of Dingle. I had wonderful weather in June, but I am sure that it is, impressive in any kind of weather. If you come for watching the sunset, it will be quite a, quiet place.

If you are a fan of nature and it’s art, go to this place. This is in county Kerry. Nature is a blessing and this is definitely a must go place if you are travelling through county Kerry. Despite going there during Winter, we really enjoyed the view and the experience amidst the winds and rain. Can’t wait to go there in summer.

Wow! This is one of the must see places if you are visiting County Dingle. Such a beautiful and picturesque place and you can see the Skellig islands from the cliff. Definitely one of the most beautiful places in Ireland. A trip to Dingle will not be complete without a visit to the Dunquin Pier. Totally recommend this.

This was such a fun and beautiful place to visit. Makes you feel as though you are part of the Atlantic Ocean. It’s a great place for beautiful pictures and not so crowded. Highly recommend it when in Ireland.

Another great stop on the Dingle Peninsula to take in the beautiful views of the Irish coast. There is plenty of parking and the area is large so you don't have any issues with crowds so it is a nice spot to enjoy a picnic lunch on a good day.

The best views and so serene, anytime of the year! The sea is rough at times but very beautiful! You won't see many people here but it's a hidden gem!

Fabulous spot to visit on your Slea Head drive. Be careful on the cliff edge lots of people very close to edge taking pics and many parts are just earth and stone. Amazing rock formation. Walking down to the pier is fabulous. Remember you have to walk back up!! It's a steep gradient for anyone with mobility issues again use your judgement. We'll worth the stop off.

Ireland is full of places like this but this place is really nice to visit in Dingle. Plenty of parking is available here, usually not very crowded. Dunquin or Dún Chaoin meaning ‘Caon's fort or stronghold’ sits at the most westerly tip of the Dingle Peninsula overlooking the Blasket Islands. At 10°27'16"W, it is the most westerly settlement of Ireland. Nearby Dunmore Head is the most westerly point of mainland Ireland.

A beautiful spot to stop for a few photos. There's a coffee /snack cart there. No parking, just stop by the side of the road.

Beautiful views abound at this stop on the Dingle peninsula. The walk down the pier is pretty steep and feels even steeper coming back up. There is also a spot on the hill/ cliff right above the pier that gives you a good view down. There was a coffee trailer there when I visited that made good brownies and protein balls.

Amazing place located along Dingle Peninsula and along the amazing Slea Head Drive. The whole drive is spectacular and you must stop here. On a windy day - beware - it feels like you might be swept into the ocean.

It’s Heaven ! Once you reach there, you would want to comeback … As you would see, I have tons of pictures and videos of the place - still any pictures or video can’t capture how amazing this place is … The best part for old people and folks who don’t want to walk a lot, is that it’s very accessible. The car drives you, straight upto the Dunquin ! We spent more than 2 hours there, spent sometime at the top, then walked downstairs towards the sea … It’s a lovely place ! Pack some sandwiches and water with you and you would have an amazing time … Try going at the time of sunset ! The view would look like a painting … :) Kerry is beautiful and Dingle is the best thing about Kerry !!

The most Photogenic part of the dingle peninsula, a most stop place. To make it even better bring some Tina thermos and citadel on the ledge while watching the view.

Amazing view and location. Didnt spend much time as it was windy and raining but would come again in summers to enjoy the view

It was windy when we were up at the top. Pathway is steep and not for the faint hearted. Lovely spot to visit. There was a currach down at the bottom on the stands too.

On West Atlantic drive 🚗 , 25 minutes drive from Dingle. Great Sea views, cliffs. Views are amazing, turquoise water, ferry services to Blasket islands. Lambs grazing away on hillock slopes. Amazing surreal views

Anybody who is in the Dingle area needs to go and see the Dunquin Pier, read the history and walk down to the pier. Understanding how people lived in the area and on the islands, you get a better understanding. A great stop on the Wild Atlantic Way.

Amazing spot. Breathtaking views. A lovely coffee dock too to warm you up after a windy walk 😀

The Dunquin Pier is one of the most beautiful piers in Ireland. Its winding pathway down the cliff makes the place photogenic. The pier about 20 minutes drive from Dingle town. The pier was used to ferry people to the once occupied Blasket Island.

Surrounded by Atlantic, A nice unbelievable scene where the Sun adds shades to the Land and sea... Recommended to be visited during Sunset. It's so emotional... Yeah.. i mean it.. 🥺.. Don't check most of my photos. They haven't got even 10% of the beauty we witnessed (🥴)

Beautiful place to visit while around the a Dingle area. Views are stunning, the road to get here is easily traveled, and no major concerns about parking. The walk down is nice but be warned the walk back up is steep so it may take some time. But overall. Completely worth it.

Absolutely beautiful spot, we did this on our wild atlantic way trip. Its a must. One of our favourite stops on the route. Doesn't dissapoint

Absolutely beautiful! It is very steep so be careful but it is so worth it.

No matter the rainy weather, this is the nicest place where i've ever been. It's 2500 km away from my home, but totally worth it ❤

An iconic place to visit. The walk down to the harbour pier is extremely steep and not suitable for prams or wheelchair users. The views are just incredible. There’s a memorial to the Spanish Armada tragedy too where 24 ships foundered along the coast of Ireland from Antrim to Kerry in 1588.

Very nice view. Even so nice today because the weather was so good. Becareful when going down near the water because the path pretty high.

Drove 3 hours from Galway to check out this view. Worth the trip. Go when there’s good sun.
