We have used Leighinmohr House Hotel many times, for weddings, mothers day high tea, and most recently a Graduation celebration..when my elderly Mother and sister came to visit they had the double bed removed and two single beds put in the room instead. Without failure we have been wined dined a looked after like family. Highly recommend this beautifully refurbished hotel

Attended a wedding at this hotel. First time ever at this hotel and it lived up to the hype. Although its set just off a residential street, its in a perfect location. Very peaceful and quiet. Staff were really friendly and very helpful. A perfect wee spot for anyone looking to have a wedding.

As a wedding photographer, I can highly recommend Leighinmohr House. Any time I have worked at this venue the day has run extremely smoothly, with staff offering a warm welcome to guests and vendors like myself alike. There is a variety of options and rooms available to hold your wedding party. You can also hold your service here should you choose. The river area is beautiful for wedding photos, indeed it’s hard to beat! I love photographing weddings at Leighinmohr House Hotel!

Really special place for a wedding, intimate and friendly staff. I must say the waitress was just fantastic with kids and made them feel really special.

We went for an evening meal and it was excellent Service was 1st class and the food was excellent. If I was being picky the portions were possibly too big. I never thought I would complain at that! I was close to popping on the way home.🤣

We Stayed over,And Our Room was Perfect, spotlessly Clean,Beautifully Furnished and Once Again Staff helped me get lift for To take Wheelchair to access level. The Wedding Venue was Just Stunning.

Had a lovely afternoon at leighmour house hotel. We had festive afternoon tea. The food was delicious and the staff were so good. Plenty of tea and coffee. One staff member noticed I had a birthday present with me and brought a glass of prosecco over for the birthday girl. Such a nice touch and very observant. The hotel is lovely. Toilets spotlessly clean. We shall definitely be returning with service like this. Had the most pleasant day.

Booked here for a meal for our 30th wedding anniversary and boy we were not disappointed. The food was amazing best o have had out for awhile. The staff were excellent very attentive to us and we received 2 complamentary glasses of chsmpers and a card wishing us a Happy Anniversary to which we were over the moon with. This goes above & beyond to what we expected. The service from staff was first class the restaurant was impacable. It was our first time eating here and it defo wont be the last couldnt have picked a better place to spend on our speical anniversary. I highly recomend this place and you wont be disappointed..

A lovely hotel with friendly staff on reception and in the restaurant. Room was great. Dinner was delicious with great presentation and breakfast plentiful and tasty.

We love the team at this venue, always friendly and available to help. The bar area is flooded with natural light and makes for a great cocktail hour room! The sheltered garden by the river is particularly beautiful in the golden light of Autumn and provides a nice area for family groups and couple portraits. There is a pathway just outside the hotel which is perfect for confetti lines and sparkler runs!

Attended for a wedding, did not sleep over however was shown a room. Hotel was beautifully decorated throughout and has access to a lovely path down by the river.

Had our daughter and son in laws wedding there yesterday absolutely fantastic. From we arrived Patricia took charge and dealt with everything perfectly. The staff were all very good and the food was terrific. We stayed overnight and our room was excellent. Would recommend it highly to anyone.

Visiting as a wedding guest, the staff were friendly and helpful. Everything was done well and the table service was top notch. Really nice surroundings tucked away in this corner of Ballymena.

This absolutely gorgeous hotel is a true hidden gem in Ballymena. The function rooms are beautiful and the staff are really friendly and helpful. I haven't stayed there yet but would love to!

This is a lovely hotel with a very friendly welcome. Staff are very helpful and there is a lovely atmosphere. The bedroom is lovely, although very funny shape; definitely boutique, but inside the cupboard, there is no table for the tea and coffee, and inside the toilets, apart from a shiny silver mirror, it is far from boutique. The bathroom is outdated and in need of an update. The showers week, the toilet roll holder was very obscure replaced and there were flies underneath the light fitting (room 206). Cost £168 for one night in October 2022. The staff are very friendly during evening dinner, I was advised to book a table which I did, but the restaurant was nowhere near full. However, it’s good to be safe, I ordered bread (£4) which was essentially two slices of bread cut into triangles. The accompanying butter was lovely, I then ordered a starter dish which I forgot what the name was, but it was chicken strips of some kind with a lovely sauce. Personally, it was served in a very small bowl, which made it very difficult to eat, and if laid out better on a smaller plates, it would’ve been better presented and easier to eat. I am being really fussy here. I ordered the sirloin steak, although I think they gave me a fillet steak, cooked, medium rare as requested, which is always a good sign. It came with thick chips (I hate thick chips) and the sides. It was lovely. I didn’t have much room left, but I then ordered the cheeseboard and this was just as good. Spent £64. I could give this hotel, five stars, but considering the bathroom is in need of an update, and the tea and coffee could’ve been presented a little better, whilst using the name boutique, and in comparison to many other hotels, I have visited who charge the same at all much more, it is good value for money, but hope the feedback helps the hotel look a bit carefully at how things are presented. All in all, I would love to go back.

Myself and a friend stayed at the Leighmohr House Hotel last night. We had high expectations, which were totally exceeded! Without exception, the staff were outstanding. A special thank you to Laura! Our room was beautiful and spotlessly clean. Dinner and breakfast first class!

Staff were very pleasant and welcoming. Very efficient and helpful with all queries. Food was outstanding with good portions. Rooms were very spacious and beautifully decorated. Highly recommend a stay at this hotel. We have already booked our next stay!

Had the most beautiful meal in the Clockhouse Restaurant. The food was first class with generous portions. The cocktails were the nicest I have ever tasted and Monique was a very attentive, pleasant waitress. Absolutely stunning decor also. Overall 10/10!

Attended a Wedding Reception. From entering the Hotel the welcome and service was impeccable. Can't fault any part of the service provided, from start to finish. Food cooked to perfection and just how they managed to serve, around 60 people, so quickly is simply astounding.

What can I say, its a lovely hotel but that's not all. I was at wedding at the Leighinmohr, not only is it a lovely and well decorated venue, the staff were extremely pleasant. Regardless of which staff member we met, they made us feel welcome. Furthermore, unfortunately for any chef, my wife, daughter and I have some unique food restrictions but not only did they cater for our needs, they went over and above what was expected. The overall service was exactly how you hope for any hotel to be..... welcoming and accommodating. Will be back and will highly recommend it.

** Absolutely unprofessional and shocking treatment ** Called to hotel last night (8 March) to book a family lunch for 22 people for a Sunday in June. This event was a 50th anniversary lunch for my parents, who regularly visit the hotel and have held 2 family weddings there. We were greeted at reception by "Well it would only be the Sunday set menu which would be available" to which we replied "No problem" . Negative vibes straight away from lady in reception. She explained we could have the library room which held 22 (but no more than 22) costing £75 for hire!! We said "fine". Told us we couldn't see the room as function was on, we said, fine but could we have a quick look for access and suitability to which we discovered no function was on at all!! She then mentioned they shouldn't really be having such a crowd for covid reasons!! Anyway ignoring the negativity we agreed 1.30pm time, perfect!! We then agreed a table plan! My sister and I then bought coffee in reception to discuss other details for the day. The receptionist returned to us to say 1.30 didn't suit them could we do 12pm?!! This was too early as we had photographer booked for this time. The only other option was then 2pm!! We said "fine"and continued with coffee. 5 minutes later reception returned to say she had talked with the manager and it would have to be 2.30pm as 1.30pm - 2pm was in the middle of their busy time!! This time was now too late for lunch. We asked to speak to the manager who then proceeded to say it would have to be 3pm and that we couldn't have the room as it could hold 45 people and he would be loosing out!! Yes, the same room costing £75 for hire where 22 was quite unsafe for covid reasons!! By this stage my sister and I left totally embarrassed and disappointed! Can safely say won't be back and unfortunately would not recommend for this reason!!

I was attending a wedding here and the service is second to none, the food is great quality and tasted perfect. Staff were very attentive and very well experienced, it was a pleasure to be here and I would come back again for the atmosphere, food and service

Had our belated Xmas party a few weeks back. Food was beautiful and it was much appreciated that Leighinmohr provided a night of entertainment for the Xmas parties that had to cancel due to covid. Peach were fantastic, great to get back onto the dancefloor 😁😁

Leighinmohr has an excellent lunch menu and is particularly good for vegetarians with a full selection of choices rather than just the usual one vegetarian dish. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is that it has no atmosphere, the staff are professional and pleasant and the place is spotless but there's nothing personal, friendly or overly welcoming about it.

We're getting married in Leighinmohr later ijbthe year so decided to go and stay the night and try the food. We could not fault anything. The food was perfect and consistent through all 3 courses and even for breakfast the next morning. Staff were very good both in the restaurant and the cocktail bar. Would highly recommend and cannot wait to get back to Leighinmohr again.

I can't recommend the leighinmohr enough!! My first time over to Northern Ireland was made to feel like i was in my own home for 3 days. The staff were exceptional and super friendly which makes staying somewhere on your own that big bit easier. The food is absolutely world class be it breakfast, lunch or dinner. The wedding I attended for my friend was amazing. Everything ran so smoothly and once again the food was world class. I will 100% be back at some point in my life. Very fairly priced too might I add. 10/10

We need to send Leighinmohr our complete gratitude for looking after us during our wedding day. It's something that is incredibly difficult to plan especially getting everything right with the hotel and guests. Well the staff went completely above and beyond for Katrina and myself. We cannot explain how much pressure they took of us the second we arrived to the venue. They were so incredibly professional and we haven't stopped talking about how amazing the hotel was. Compliments to the chefs for cooking an incredible meal for our 90 guests. The food was a massive highlight for our guests. Big shout out to Laura, Catherine, Michelle and Kim.
