Absolutely the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in in terms of cleanliness and general care taken of the place. From the second we walked in, it was apparent that we had to go into the mode of searching the entire room top to bottom for bugs and cameras etc. Found live cockroaches and random beetle bodies. Inspecting the bed lead to us finding that it’s very apparent the beds are rarely cleaned, none of the furniture is ever cleaned around and the room is generally disgusting. Only real stand out was the gentleman that worked late nights, very nice guy. His coworker let us stand at the front desk for 10 minutes while she talked on the phone in front of us. I also got hard balled by the manager just to get a garbage bag. That was to put our dirty clothes in to try to mitigate the risk of bed bugs coming home. Overall, DO NOT STAY

This hotel wasn’t close to clean. We had to go to the front to ask for towels because there were none in the room. The hotel states it is non-smoking but smelled of stale smoke & our comforters had cigarette burns on it. To top it all off the air conditioner didn’t work & the front desk wouldn’t give us the fan they had. Only wanted us to move our two young kids at 4 in the morning, after our late check in, to another room or coming to check the air in that moment. Asked to hear from a manager or owner for a resolution & have yet to hear from someone. Attached some of the few photos taken.

Room smelled like smoke when I entered despite being a non-smoking room. No towels or washcloths in the room. Staff were unable to supply any and said I had to wait until 9am the next morning for housekeeping to arrive. I've never heard of a hotel that didn't have towels! I leave in the morning. It was just an overnight business trip, and I can't even get a shower in. Never booking here again. Staff did not resolve any issues.

Hotel was (barely) OK considering it’s one of the lowest-priced in the area, keep your expectations low and you won’t be disappointed. I had to ask for towels, there wasn’t a single one in the room. Carpet is old and musty and needs to go. Coffeemaker in room didn’t work, but the coffee in the lobby was fresh, so not really a big deal. Remote didn’t change channels on the TV, which would’ve been a big deal if I hadn’t been too tired to watch TV anyway. Breakfast was coffee and cinnamon buns, about what I expected. Location is convenient to West Point, which is the best thing I can say about this property. Overall, a solid “meh.”

Room smelled of smoke and was supposed to be non-smoking. Upholstery on the chairs was torn the carpeting was in bad shape. When I checked in the TV didn't work but the desk manager came and fixed it while I went to dinner which was very nice. They only left me two towels and no washcloth! Location is great right off 84 and there is a Denny's at the bottom of the hill where you can get a discount

Much like the other reviews have stated, this hotel is in desperate need of some updates to the rooms and overall look of the hotel. We needed a quick place to stay as we were in town for business. The rooms were ok, there seemed to be a musty smell everytime the AC was off, however the front desk very kindly provided air fresheners as I believe they are aware of the issue. The rating I gave was based mostly on the fact that the hotel is based quite conveniently in the city center and was walkable distance to various places to eat and places to shop. In addition, the customer service team was very kind and gave complimentary items as the rooms often lacked such items such as extra towels. The free breakfast is more grab and go but still suitable for travelers who are in transit and need something quick and warm to eat. Overall, not a bad place to stay if you need a quick place to lay your head.

Good enough. The bed made my back sore and the rooms are a little beat up but it's a decent hotel at a fair price. Lots of food locations near by. Parking is ample with semi spaces in the back. The staff were very nice. All in all I'd stay there again if I'm in the area but it isn't in my top 10.

I booked through Expedia. Was an ok hotel. Front desk people were all great and very friendly. I have stayed multiple times and it is always the same. I got 2 double beds. When entering the rooms there were still things from previous guests (socks, q-tips and papers) as well as other things on floor and in corners. There was 1 towel in the rooms. An extra blanket on each bed balled up. Free breakfast consists of coffee and a granola bar. Other than that very convenient location.

Nope, no, Nada. So, I worked in a different state and was coming to this area in Newburgh to see my fiancé,He locked himself out of his apartment and could not get maintenance out for the night. He said he would get a room since he stayed here before. Dirty beds, no towels, faulty remote, unvaccumed room( do hotels even vaccume their rooms?). Very uninviting. Even though we were offered an upgrade. It's still a no for me.

Where can I start I am beyond disappointed. This is not the first time I stayed here. I stood here around March of this year and the place was actually starting to be built up again. The room was clean and the staff was nice and educated. The general manager Angelo Flecha was so nice and professional, I remember that I wanted a room facing the side and he was happy to fixed the problem and was very accommodating about it. The manager of the house keepers was so professional and friendly with the room needs. The room looked and was clean. This time around I guess they have a new general manager who is so unprofessional likes to act like a dictator. The room that I was put in was so dirty and the bed looked like it was already sleep-in rooms are not been clean or I don’t even know if someone is actually checking to see if the room are been cleaned properly. When I asked to be moved from this dirty room the General manager Cassie Lomax didn’t want to move me and said If you don’t like the room you can go somewhere else and we will not be refunding your money. This is such a disappointment because I have stayed in different WYNDHAM hotels and it is an embarrassment to affiliate this hotel with them. Will never stay here again. I thought from my last stay in March that this place was moving in a good direction but is actually worse I don’t know what happen with the old staff but this staff is not doing there customer service or professional at all. Don’t stay here, this is not worth your money.

I stayed here for the first time last night on 12/2/23 with my friend. I had just had surgery and needed a place to rest. I didn't even rest for 4 hours before my friend jumped up out of bed exclaiming that something kept biting him on his arms and face, and that he felt itchy. The bed was riddled with bed bugs!!! 🤮 They are huge! I went to the front desk clerk and showed him a picture I had taken of them. He immediately gave us another room. My friend checked the other room and found blood stains on the mattress and other unidentifiable stains. We decided to leave. Because I had booked through a third party, I'm working on getting my refund back. The front desk clerk was apologetic, but overall the hotel and carpets in both the rooms and hallways look very dirty and are also full of stains. Being that I was in discomfort and couldn't move around well from my surgery, the fact that I had to now move around and try to find other accomodations made the night stressful for me. I would not recommend staying at this hotel. I had to buy new clothes and had to wash all of my clothes in hot water. The only positive about it was that the location was conveniently located near every store or gas station you might need. There are other nearby hotels as well.

The place is a pit. Dried blood on the sheets. No support in the mattress. Could feel the springs. Spent a sleepless night sitting up in a chair. Was welcomed the next morning by a roach the size of a Buick. Good luck!

I need to start by saying that I was very pleased with the excellent staff at this Wyndham property that were extremely dedicated. Everyone on the staff was friendly and immediately responsive. I only got the name of Bill at the front desk. He was working hard running around the hotel to deal with all of the many, many shortcomings that were experienced by my group of senior citizen friends, myself included, in the 4 rooms we reserved this past weekend. Where to begin? Baby cockroaches, hot water failures, tilted beds, cable TV malfunctions, really low sink vanity in the bathroom (perhaps for the wheelchair bound?), smell of smoke in the rooms in this non-smoking property; but, the coffee was good. I am very shocked to see that Wyndham is the chain. They are usually pretty reliable.

The room was what you'd expect in a super 8. However, there was a refrigerator, microwave, and iron which was nice. The staff was excellent. And they have free breakfast. The issue I had was that the receptacles i.e. where you plug in electrical devices were almost ALL non-functional. Only one worked. That was annoying. Also, while the location was quiet, you can't walk to a store, everything is pretty far away. You'll have to drive. Overall 3 stars...

No hot water (later fixed so it was luke warm). I saw between 10 and 20 bugs in both the bathroom and the sleeping area. Broken vending machine. Saw what looked like old cat food on the floor next to the bed. I think I'm a pretty casual traveler. I don't need anything fancy, but this was pretty disgusting.

My dad stayed for the weekend, and me and my kids came to stay the night. PITIFUL! There was NO WASHCLOTHS AND TOWELS! The room smelled old. The carpet looked like it was never vacuumed. The water NEVER got hot. Just barely lukewarm. There was no damn phone in the room but had a phone jack. The safe is suppose be hidden, but in this particular room, it was on the floor. The tv channel list ALL WRONG! The bathroom tub, not clean. Corners on the bathroom floor had knots of hair. NEVER AGAIN!!! One garbage can in the room. Why not have one in the bathroom? Exits was crazy. If there is a fire and you used a certain EXIT, it’s only used to enter not exit BUT have a security camera posted up.

A nice spot to stay, close to things. We didn't have towels but we brought our own so we didn't mind, but maybe bring them with you. But everything was great nice staff, tv worked fine and there was a fridge

This is the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed in. The only reason we didn't leave is we had our dog and couldn't find another hotel in the area that was pet-friendly and had driven hours on end and needed to sleep. The hotel hallways smelled AWFUL -- it was completely overwhelming and we had to practically run down the halls with our mouths and noses covered, it was like something was decomposing in one of the rooms. There were piles of old mattresses and random furniture strewn about the halls and outside like they had recently had an infestation of some kind. Our room had no towels or washcloths. THEN, to top all of that off, we found a random mystery gooey red substance IN OUR BLANKETS. Absolutely disgusting hotel, avoid at all costs.
