We were a group of females and got assaulted by a group of Asian males and females, staff didn’t care or help. We had men punching females and the staff just stood and watched. Stay away if you are a female. Edited to add after Home Bar & Grills response below - Yes we definitely do have the correct venue and you definitely have had such an incident in your establishment. We have since discovered that the group of people who attacked us know the owner, so this is why you are lying and trying to cover it up. We have a police CAD number of 357/26Nov23 and trust that you will be cooperating with the police who will be asking for CCTV. The fact that you are insinuating we are lying is quite frankly an insult and shows what sort of place you run there. My review stands as we have plenty of witnesses to the attack and will make sure all who are thinking of going here know that it is not a safe place and the low calibre of clientele and friends the owner keeps. Absolute disgrace of ownership.

Very good food in a pleasant, classy pub/restaurant. Excellent bruschetta, squid. Very good pizza. Pleasant service although the pizza came out quite a while after the other mains. We booked through TheFork app and got an absolute bargain on a Monday night. It was an enjoyable experience.

Menu for food was very basic and hard to choose something what do you really like. Cocktails average 8/10 . We are lucky it was happy hour. 2for1. The service was friendly.

Atmosphere is incredible, food is even better. Every visit I’ve been welcomed by the most friendly members of staff, particularly Ami, Emilio and the manager Antonio. Theyve made sure every drink and every meal has been perfect. Also makes a lively night out with great music on a Friday and Saturday! Their cocktails are very unique and delicious too (and not full of ice like most bars!). My new favourite meals there are the steak, the lamb and the spicy wings (thank you Ami for recommending them!).

This place seems to be a scam. They ply you with 2 for 1 cocktails until the bulls come and they charge you double. This somewhat fraudulent act happened twice to me. They would add a random £20-£40 extra thinking the people who had been drinking would be too intoxicated to realise and then are so apologetic when you call them on it... right so this has happened to me and a friend multiple times. Seems like an act to me

This place is really lovely nicely designed and laid out with a good selection of drinks. However my only gripe is that there is no snacks, nuts or bites available at this venue; I don't want a meat, but would have been nice to have have a snack with my pints. Something for management to readdress and consider. I would recommend this place tho ??⭐⭐⭐⭐

Professional, excellent service. I always have a good night in there and all of the staff are lovely and friendly. Especially Ella and Antonio. I would high recommend the home bar. Food and cocktails are lovely.

Get a roast dinner for 4 or 5 people near weekly and it’s always been great , however this week was by far the best. I’m sure there is a new chef. Roast beef was cooked perfectly - medium rare , juicy - big portions. Roast potatoes were hot and crispy just small and only 3, a large should surly have atleast 4? , the veg were all honey roasted , possibly not but they tasted sweet , the pigs in blankets are a great new addition also. Got them last week too , they come with a mustard glaze which isn’t for my liking , but you can ring up and request no mustard which I did & were are very accommodating. Quite stingy on the gravy, not sure about you but I drench my roast in gravy, and there was a tiny portion for each person ( 1/4 of the small tub was filled with gravy, maybe add an option for extra or fill them just a bit more? All in all, amazing. Thanks :)

We booked a table for Christmas dinner with friends last Thursday. There was a lot of big bookings in and there was an initial mix-up with ours getting lost but the owner and staff were very accommodating and also gave us a free bottle of wine by way of apology. My husband and I have eaten here on several other occasions in other seasons and the food is very good quality, definitely gastropub level. Tonight's festive menu was no exception and the place looked fantastic and was decorated beautifully. My duck was melt-off-bone and yet the surprise star on my main dish was the cream cabbage and bacon - so moreish. With a table of 28 and another of 10 or 12, it did get quite rowdy but even being so busy the owner took time to male sure we were enjoying our meal. Big shout out to Giuseppe (I think?) who will also be getting married in Sardinia in June as we did and was equally attentive to us whilst still waiting on the big tables. Would definitely visit again.

Very quiet for Friday lunch we were the only table at the venue. The service was prompt and friendly, food was Good, apart of the mushy peas for the Fish and Chips, which was dry and and not very nice.Prawns in garlic butter and squid were delicious.Chciken was tasty. Will definitely be back and recommend.

Hidden gem in West London! This restaurant was beautiful and has an inviting atmosphere. Our waiter and the manager were super attentive and lovely to speak to. The menu is varied and has something for all tastes and preferences! We went with the Baked Camembert as a starter which was deliciously creamy and melty - paired perfectly with the truffle honey sauce it came with and delicious bread. For mains we chose the sea bass which was on the special menu - the fish was soft and tender and the sauce it came with tasted so fresh and was bursting with flavour! I highly recommend it! We also ordered the Moroccan lamb kofta with rice which was also very yummy. And the dessert… also amazing! We had the hazelnut chocolate doughnuts that were the perfect end to such a wonderful meal. 5* and would highly recommend! Can’t wait to go back soon and try more delicious things from the menu.

Lovely modern but cosy pub just a 10 minute walk from West Ruislip tube station. We had the lunch offer of 2 courses for £11.95, which also included a mini dessert for £3. We opted for desserts offered on the main menu rather than the desserts offered with the lunch menu. Two of us had the mushrooms on toast and the grilled prawns with toast for starters and then the fish cake and steak sandwich for mains. Although we chose from the lunch offer, portions are very generous. The food was tasty, though the fish cake was a little soggy as it was placed on top of steamed spinach, it was still very good though. We finished off with the chocolate brownie and the hazelnut tart, both of which were delicious. The service and wine were both good too. Cannot fault this place!

Sunday lunch was extremely tasty. The jazz is wonderful. The floor manager is a superstar you should hold onto her tight as it’s difficult to find such rare gems. She enhanced our experience with her beaming smile. The roast lamb was very well cooked and the cauliflower cheese was very cheesy and creamy. Highly recommend

Had a fabulous Christmas meal here. There was 44 of us and all accommodated perfectly. We had such a fabulous time. The food was fantastic. It did take longer than usual but the place was heaving. All of our food was perfectly cooked and delicious. Such a great evening topped of fby dancing and cocktail. 10000% recommend this place.

Unfortunately didn't have a great experience due to a large party of us being seated at 7 but fed at 9:30. The kitchen had closed before everyone's food had been served. Staff tried their best but I'm not sure they're suited to the large parties they seat. Food tasted fine, but due to the time it was served I wasn't as hungry as I should have been. Edit: Home Bar have replied to my review saying they'd not had any large parties the night before my review was posted and could not find my booking for 7 people. Obviously haven't read my review properly and the visit was at the end of January.

Visited here yesterday and it was heaving, we had such a great night here. The food was great, although slightly delayed due to it being so busy. The Tiki Rum punch was very delicious. All in all a great experience. Highly recommend, very relaxed atmosphere but with a touch of sophistication.

Fabulous little spot. The cocktails are great, the staff excel above all else. They are so busy and seem under intense pressure but they seem to be managing extremely well. We look forward to our next visit.

This is a great little place. Very upmarket, their own drinks brand was very delicious. Great food too. The staff are brilliant, very professional but with a fun nature.

Me and a friend visited Home today for brunch which was fabulous. I had the avocado and my friend the spinach bake, both of which were delicious. We have booked on for next sunday to try the roast. Our waitress was also very lovely.

Visited this place for the first time last Sunday. First thing we noticed was how crazy busy this place is and the staff buzzing around like bees everywhere. The jazz was fantastic whilst enjoying the best roast lamb I have had. Beautifully cooked and the potatoes were my only gripe as could have been crispier. Having said that this place is extremely busy and there is a reason why.. the food was fantastic. We did wait slightly longer than average however we were so busy chatting and enjoying the jazz that we did not care. Once the food arrived it was worth the wait! Beautiful. All 15 of us left extremely full with very happy tummies. It was our first time but it will definitely not be the last.

My friend had booked a table here on Friday night, such a great place, the cocktails were delicious. Their squid is the best squid I have ever had. The atmosphere in this place was buzzing. we had such a good night and danced the night away on our seats. It was a new experience but a brilliant one.

I had a wonderful Sunday Roast here not too along ago. Just thought I’d show some appreciation to the wonderful staff at Home bar for all their hard work, they deserve it, especially after the pandemic we should appreciate these people for continuing to serve with a smile. The actual Roast I had was FANTASTIC!!!! I was filled to the brim with excitement when the manager Ela brought them over, I couldn’t wait to dig in. It was lovely!!!! The smile on the servers faces was just the cherry on top of an already brilliant meal! Can’t wait to eat here again, I HIGHLY recommend.

Brilliant place with a good selection of drinks and food. There have vegan and veg options as well. Nice ambience and good service. Before covid we had a good time with the kids as well when we had gone for a Harry Potter quiz night. The kids still remember it well. They just need to change their ketchup to Heinz (small crib).

This place is always fantastic. We are a local family of four and visit almost daily, whether it be for a drink, Sunday roast or a special occasion, home is our go to place. We love all the staff, Ela is a complete asset, it makes me horrified to see the bad reviews as she has one of the biggest hearts I have encountered. She is a great host and always welcomes everyone with so much happiness and love. The food is always great and they make one of the best Espresso Martini’s in the world. Keep on going guys and please ignore the negativity. You always go above what is expected.

Wasted journey this morning! Tried phoning ahead yesterday and again twice this morning at 10:20am but no one answered the phone. When we turned up at 10:30am hoping to enjoy a tasty breakfast/brunch we were turned away and told the restaurant wasn’t serving breakfast even though they open their doors at 10am on Sundays!? The explanation for not answering the phone yesterday and again this morning was that they were too busy yesterday and had only just got in today to start work...presumably late as I had only just phoned them less than 10 minutes ago. Undeterred we took our business further afield enjoying a delicious breakfast at FEGO. Such a shame as we’ve eaten here a couple of times before and the food and service was very good, hence why I’ve given two stars instead of one.

Been many times and Usually a really enjoyable evening.. came last night, sat outside... froze.. if your going to seat people outside and serve them meals them the least you can do is cater for them and make it more enjoyable .. No gazebo/cover, no patio heater, no chair cushions, nothing.. cold hard seats, getting rained on.. it wouldn’t cost much to rectify..and you’d see a definately return on any money spent on your outside space....

So overpriced. Had the ox cheak which was nice, but came in a breakfast bowl. More like a starter. Hardly any mash just a couple of carrots. Flatbread margarita was burnt. Drink prices really high. Shan't be going back.

Worst brunch I have ever been to. Our group of 6 had 3 cocktails in 2 hours, food came over cold, Extremely slow service, rude and arrogant manager! Very very poor customer service will never return here again!

I love this place usually but my last experience was awful and quite disappointing, We waited a long for our food only based on that we watched 3 groups of similar sized tables come in after us receive their food before us. One waitress was helpful but one main waiter was useless and seemed grumpy. It is a shame the restaurant did not support the Help Out Eat Out Scheme and they once had an awesome vegan/vegetarian menu which is now quite disappointing. The flatbread dish is actually just a Pizza with a fancy name. It was my parents anniversary and after the bill was paid and as we were leaving through the door 1 staff said they were going to bring a cake out - who does that? Really sad that a once loved and recommended restaurant has lost its quality and service.

My experience today was not at all good...I ordered a takeaway roast beef dinner and the meat was inedible it was so chewy and horrible I couldn't eat it..there were only three potatoes and the cabbage was stringy I wont be ordering again

The food was amazing. My steak was cooked to perfection. Cocktails were all presented beautifully. The staff couldn't do enough for us. The new land lady was really welcoming. Will be visiting again.

We called on here on our way home from London. The food was very good, I had the wild mushroom risotto that was packed with mushrooms. My husband had a steak cooked to his liking.

Popped into Home for a very late lunch and the staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The menu is diverse and interesting a veritable oasis in Ickenham. They also offered us a very decent Chardonnay, another rare treat around here. Altogether a very nice place to enjoy some food and drink for a discerning clientele. I should also add that the Diavola pizza delivered in every way a good pizza should. Well cooked with a great crust and plenty of delicious toppings and devilishly hot.......superb

First time visiting The home Bar and Kitchen, I came here expecting a drink and a quick bite, I look one look at the menu and changed my mind. I would never normally go for a salad, but the peach salad jumped out at me, something different...it was sooo good. 🥗🥬🥭 I sat there with my bottled cocktail which was really refreshing and at a reasonable price and enjoyed the sunshine.🍹😎 The people there were really nice and as it peaceful and quiet the women had time to chat to me❤

My partner and I came here for a bottomless brunch. Everyone was very friendly. However, it was not a busy day and the service was very slow. Our food was left on the side for about 10 minutes before it was collected so when it arrived it was lukewarm but still pleasant. When the bottomless brunch time came to an end, no staff told us so my partner and I kept ordering drinks thinking it was still under our time only to be whacked with a large bill when we came to leave. We’ve been to bottomless brunch before and always been told when our time is coming towards the end so we know when the drinks stop being included. The staff here seem to be quite happy for you to keep spending money without you realising you’re past the cut off. Will not be coming back here and will not be recommending it to others.

Went for family Birthday lunch ,we had Rib burger with fries,Seafood linguine and Quattro pizza with Croquettes all top quality ,highly recommended and waiting staff were attentive and friendly,we had outside seating under cover .Will definitely be coming back .

My first thoughts on entering this Bar and Kitchen was, looks a bit tired. However, although it looked ordinary, the service by Andrea was fast and friendly. The menu was limited in number but had variety. I ordered Ribeye steak, my wife ordered Steak burger and my son breaded chicken. I must be honest I was expecting an ordinary meal, but what surprise, the steak was perfect, the fries the best I have had in years. My wife and son were of the same opinion regarding their meal. Overall a great experience. Andrea was excellent, friendly and always smiling and the meal was well worth the money. If you are passing by, don't hesitate, give it a try.

We live in Eastcote, but have not found somewhere to call our local, we are now as far out as Ickenham. This was our first time at Home, bar and kitchen. We loved it from the ambience, to the food and wine, we had 2 roasts and a starter to share was more than enough food for us. very friendly staff, giving the place a relaxed and inviting atmosphere perfect to spend a Sunday afternoon in. We will definitely be back.

We went a few weeks ago and I tried the vegetarian roast for the first time and honestly it was really really good!! It didn’t feel like it was an afterthought to the menu it felt just as robust and hearty as a typical meat English roast!! Really well made and portion was perfect!

The only thing going for it are the 2 for 1 cocktails until 9pm. The food is not good, I ordered the mushroom risotto and it tasted like a microwave meal. The atmosphere is odd - club music playing at 8pm whilst you're having dinner. Would only recommend for drinks.

Amazing and Dog friendly restaurant. Went in the afternoon around 2-3 as was just passing by, food was nice, lovely place, great jazz music in the background and clean bathroom. some parking in the front. Outdoor seating space is nice and wide too would be nice in summer.

Shame I can only give 5 stars for the service - the food was great as usual, but what really made it was the team working there - had a really enjoyable Sunday lunch with friends who had travelled a fair way to join us! The kids absolutely loved the food and even our friends’ baby made a BFF with the waiter (maybe because he brought her some ice cream..!) Thanks for a lovely meal once again!

Wow! What a find, pretty much on our doorstep! Four of us tried three courses and not one bad plate-in fact, the calamari was possibly one of the best versions of the dish we’ve tried. On top of that, service was polite and attentive without bring obtrusive. Plus they had Camden Pale Ale on tap (rare!). Will be back to try your cocktails and wines!

We held a baby shower event at Home Bar Ickenham this July and we honestly could not have asked for a better venue and service. We hired the small terrace area towards the rear of the venue and it was ample space for hosting a cocktail style event for around 40 people. We were able to move the chairs and decorate the area to make the space suitable for our requirements. The staff, including the manager, George, were exceptional. George and his team were extremely attentive and took great care of us to ensure we could host a successful event which everyone enjoyed. Nothing was too much to ask. They helpfully rearranged the area to suit our requirement’s, they helped manage the budget I had for the event, they offered to help with the set up and they ensured everyone’s glass was full! We could bring our own decor and play our music. I would highly recommend this venue for events. Honestly I did not expect to have such fantastic local service. Thank you to all of the staff at Home Bar, you were all brilliant!
