I was expecting a Scottish pub but its actually Indian owned and serves Indian food. A surprising find hidden away in a residential area. It maintains a traditional pub layout with Indian cultural influences and comes complete with a pub garden and pool table.

For a small little pub/restaurant down some side roads. The food was amazing. I can’t fault a single dish and I tried a lot. Food came out hot and fresh. I’m on the hunt for the best grill place and so far this is the best. Well done Scotsman.

Great pub, can watch football and have a ladz experience on one side, while the otherside is family friendly! The food here is out of this world, not oily and greasy, quality! Lollypop chicken recommended and lambchops!

This is a awesome back street Indian pub. The selection of beers is great. The atmosphere is very lively. Staff are really good. Food was really good. Overall this place great and will visit again. The only reason why it did not get the last star due to how busy it was the food service let us down, the mixed grill was good but we never order this and most always order separately. Going back and i think it will be a 5 star rating.

Came highly recommended, but couldn't see the fuss. Came midweek, pretty empty for an evening when the footy is on. Old skool boozer with a kitchen n outside area. The food was average, both meat and veg options. Mogo was poor, Though the lollipop chicken was very good, recommend that πŸ‘πŸ½

Upset stomach, bad food , would not eat for free Went to the Scotsman last week and dined in with the family. The pub itself is very nice as is the decor. Food presentation is good but taste awful. We ordered a large selection of food big biggest mix grill they had, lots of extra large non-breads, chicken curry and chips. The mix grill was completely too much spice and the presentation was the best part of the dish however the chicken curry was as other reviews have said the worst curry I have had in any restaurant. The staff there will friendly enough From a party of six people dining here in the evening by the morning half had upset stomach. Emailed the restaurant about this who totally ignored this despite this being sent more than once.

Scotsman is a classic pub. Great Indian food in the local area if you stick to the right stuff. If you order a few of these options you won't be disappointed. - Chicken Lollipop. - Chilli Chicken. - Chilli Paneer. - Lamb Karahi. - Lamb Tava. - Scotty Lamb Chops. - Chilli Fish. - Afghan Garlic Naan (sharing Naan) Their butterchicken is only good if you like sweet butterchicken if not might not be for you. Stick to any of these and you won't be upset.

Great Indian Punjabi food, particularly the starters. It'a a friendly, well run pub and the owner makes you feel welcome. Parking is difficult, but that's the councils fault - yellow lines everywhere!

VERY loud music and no choice of what you watch on the many TV screens in the venue ( not everyone wants t0o watch the boxing). The beer was adequate. Table tops were sticky, just a quick wipe didn't solve the situation.

Excellent, reasonably priced food and a clean and tidy interior including the toilets. I am fortunate that this attractive pub is walking distance from home

For starters it's as Desi as it gets! It's got a homely feel to the place. The food was decent. The drinks were reasonably priced. Staff was helpful.

Extremely disgusting food after being highly recommended, The lamb samosas were fit for the bin only! And never tasted anything like it, never ever again! Our Saturday evening completely ruined. Thanku for nothing!

Been coming here for years, never really had time to put a review out but I will say this, it a pure Jem of a pub!! Excellent atmosphere, a proper pub, sports on tv, two great pool tables and above all,, the food is probably the best in the area!!. Great crowd too, welcoming to all. Give it a go, if you haven't already. You won't be disappointed. A great establishment with good vibes.

Was there for a wake. Great to see it has two areas so one can be catered for small gatherings. Limited staff meant a very slow start for ordering drinks. They say the food is good but sadly didn't try it. Don't order a coffee - it was dishwater. The masala chai however was delicious. There's also only street parking but there are roads around it - which do get busy.

Great service and atmosphere. Reasonable food and prices. Pub not the the most trendy, bit of a basic looking pub.

One of the greatest pubs I can suggest to go to. Earlier was an English pub but now with a touch of indian/punjabi atmosphere this place has done wonders. The garlic naan was delicious. The chicken served here is the most recommended one here. The sizzler were great, loved the food, beer, the atmosphere and the hospitality. 10/10 place
