A fine signature pub from Fuller's. The Admiralty, close to Trafalgar Square is a treasure. An expansive pub with both a cellar seating area and a mezzanine, always a plus. Service is excellent and the beer is tasty whether from the keg or the cask. A festive menu on offer with plenty of takers. All good fun and the beer most enjoyable. The cellar bar and seating is the best bit for me with a really tranquil feel! (exclamation mark after tranquil, not at all sure).

I just came for a drink. Fun decor, the upstairs had a totally different vibe from the downstairs which was fun (I preferred it downstairs). It really does feel like you are in a ship downstairs. Toilets need better attention but are otherwise nice. Staff seemed friendly even though rather than tell me they didn’t have pear cider, they just opened a kiwi cider and expected me to pay for it. Fun spot for a drink.

A really lovely pub, friendly staff, very clean and a modern interior. Felt well managed with some interesting beer choices. I went for the Amstel as they gave it to me, so no complaints given that. Would happily return.

Came here during the weekend before the Buffalo Bills game. The atmosphere was great and the workers did an amazing job with serving the huge (and sometimes intense) crowd. There were rooms in the basement and an upstairs seating area as well where it was possible to order food. They had a large amount of beers on tap.

This was such a fun stop for dinner! Very lively with lots of seating. We tried a traditional pie and it was SO good! The fish and chips was also delicious. A nice place after a long walk around the city.

This place was awesome. Delicious, piping hot pies and cold ale. Fun ship themed decor. Despite seeming to be short staffed and very busy, the food arrived at our table very quickly. Only four stars because the waitress didn’t clean the table completely.

Cool pub with central and easy to find location. Good selection of drinks. Chips was not the best. Toilets at the basement has a door with no doorknob. It was a little bit confusing for silly me. You just need to push the door with a mirror on it.

Went for the first time yesterday, and the food is just amazing! Probably one of the best pies I've ever eaten. I would definitely go back when im in London next πŸ€€πŸ‘

After visiting the National Gallery, I was expecting a pretty generic pub, I was wrong! The location is fantastic, just across the road from the corner of Trafalgar Square.. look for the Canadian flags on the building opposite. It's a beautiful pub, loads of memorabilia with lots of character. Staff were lovely, food great and I discovered Beavertown craft beer, very tasty! Nice mixture of locals and tourists, Next time I'm near Trafalgar Square, I'll be popping in, totally recommended!!

We booked this for lunch the day after the Coronation, and were welcomed as we entered. The dΓ©cor really makes the interior interesting without being overly done. Prices for drinks ad food generally on par with everywhere else nowadays but service must be improved as we waited overly long for drinks and food and it was only about a third capacity. We were in no rush which was fine but some improved communications between staff and diners should be improved if waiting times are going to be long. Having said that when the food did arrive it was great, we were a group of seven and everyone's dish was to the same standard. All cooked and presented very well. A decent choice of desserts for those that fancied something else. All in all, a nice meal and would give it another chance when in the area.

The interior and location are 5 star. Just across the street from the National Gallery. The general staff all seemed to be new with little information about the menu or general offerings - but the manage more than made up for it. He was hustling around, waiting on tables and delivering food and drink. Food came out promptly. Possibly the best fish and chips - and scotch egg that I’ve had in all of London. And I travel here allot. Lunch rush was wild, but we’ll worth it.

The Admiralty has finally reopened and I believe the opening night was a great success! I have booked a table for 4 people however the restaurant was not able to locate my reservation( in the end only two of us came that night!). Luckily they have given me a chance to have a look around and find a table. Even though, they were very busy as it was an opening night, we were able to find a lovely table upstairs in a dining area. I hope the issues with the reservations will be rectified going forward. The interior of the pub was absolutely stunning and possibly even an improvement of what it used to look like before! It is a lovely place to spend some time for drinks and food. We decided to go for fish and chips and vegetarian Wellington ( pictures attached). These were so delicious! We both really enjoyed our food. The food is on the pricier side but it is certainly worth it! Moreover, service in the dining area upstairs was exceptional. The lady was so welcoming and checked up on us multiple times if we wanted more drinks/food. The bar had a great selection of drinks. Overall, we both really enjoyed our visit. Since reopening, the Admiralty has become even better and I will certainly be paying a visit to them again.

Steak and ale pies were great. Burger was very bad but the chips were great! The interior is extremely cool and very well maintained, lots of British naval charm. However there was CLUB MUSIC BLASTING EXTREMELY LOUDLY SO YOU HAD TO SHOUT TO HEAR YOUR DINNER MATES during early dinner hours on a weeknight! No! This isn’t some American or German dance club at 3am! We had reservations and were seated upstairs, which provided a nice view. If it were quieter, it would be great. Drinks were okay but overpriced. Beer and cider were better choices and more reasonably priced.

Very nice to sit, it’s like an old boat theme. Recommend the Pim cocktail with gin was super nice and not strong taste. We also had the sharing pudding was delicious. Service was good very nice waiter.

Sunday roast was such a quintessential British experience on our travels. Was busy the entire time we were there. Prime location and the atmosphere was top notch. The sticky toffee pudding stole show.

This place was incredible. The food was delicious, I highly recommend the mini pie plate dinner for two people. It was extremely good. The best part was our service. Nicki was incredible. She went so far above and beyond to help make our experience awesome. I can't recommend this place enough.

Perfectly positioned for some casual Trafalgar Square dining and drinking, with friendly staff and quick service. Fish & chips was large and tasty, with a decent pint of London Pride to wash it down. They really should have a word with whoever painted the compass on the ceiling though 🀣

Gorgeous historic place with decor during Admiral Nelson's time. We ate upstairs and had fish and chips. It was incredible with lager beer. If you are looking for the perfect fish and chips, this is it! The service is outstanding even though it is so busy. Great location in Trafalgar Square. We loved it visiting from USA!!

Very nice pub. The place is clean, bright and the high ceiling give you an impression of space which is enjoyable. We've received a warm welcome from this lady with nice and funky purple hair ☺️. She took us to a table and then, the order was taken very quickly and our cider came as well very quickly. Very nice decoration, good range of beers. Nice pub. Will go again πŸ‘Œ

A great location and appropriately themed pub too. Restaurant area is up the stairs in the gallery. The loo was quite quirky with a glass panel obscuring a staircase. On visiting the basement with its naval theme was closed. Food was very good (tasting pie board) and staff were friendly.

PInot at the table, this light and delightful pub on several floors has excellent food and especially fast service. My meal was served quickly, and was seasoned with fresh HErbs - such an unexpected delight!

The Admiralty is a beautiful pub! Conveniently located close to the Charing Cross tube station, Trafalgar Square, and the Canadian High Commission. My only complaint was the quality of the BLT sandwich. The bread was toasted so hard that it was like sawdust when I ate it. The chips were excellent though, and the pint of Asahi went down well!

The Admiralty is a great meeting place due to it's location (next to Horatio Nelson) and it's size. It has a grand feel to it, set off perfectly by the giant flags that are a focal point of the bar. There are snug booths around the edge of the main bar and plenty of tables for beer and gathering points. You can order at bar, or for larger groups table service is offered by fab staff. There is a great nautical feel about the pub and not just in it's name. Downstairs, currently closed, there are wooden companion ways and brass port holes a plenty 😊. The toilets are spotless. I love this place and I make sure I am a regular visitor. The beer is good and food most acceptable, although I would expect slightly bigger portions in keeping with the pubs ambience. Sailors / seafaring folk need feeding up πŸ˜€
