It's a fantastic place where the biggest events and concerts take place. The atmosphere is amazing. There are many shops, restaurants and bars nearby where you can eat or drink a cup of coffee. The organization is flawless. The concert, was most exciting concert I've ever been.

Iconic! Spectacular! Worth visiting. Boasts of the popular, large capacity Arena; access to the arena is restricted so make sure you get a ticket for whatever is on show. Well planned layout with shops of almost all the top brands you know. Several restaurants and eateries are on site; so many options to choose from. Most of them require prior reservations and bookings. Might be crowded during peak hours or peak times. Again, worth visiting for the real experience.

Stunning venue which makes for a great experience. Only went to the show but really enjoyed the stroll in. They do have a problem with overcharging and at the same time confiscating people’s sweets. I understand alcohol but if you plan taking your own toffees in with one person, distribute them between your group, otherwise security will tuck into them. Brilliant night out though 🤓

Amazing experience! The venue is just great. It is located just a few minutes from the tube. Everything is very well organised, and the entry process is pretty smooth. Make sure you check the event guidelines before you visit. There are plenty of nice places to eat before you enter. However you can't bring any food or drinks in. There is a food hall when you enter where you can have burgers, fries, pizza, beer, etc. Unfortunately, there aren't any healthier food options. The food was okay, not that bad but pretty expensive. There are also a few toilets facilities. Staff was very helpful and polite. The whole experience was amazing, and I will definitely be coming again for another event.

It is a pretty smooth experience to attend a music concert at the O2. They have implemented a new 'AI' security screening system which has sped up the entry. There are many bars and toilets on each level, which is convenient. We saw Depeche Mode at the O2 and the sound was pretty good, despite being in the cheap seats far from the stage. We arrived a bit earlier and snuck out during the encore to avoid the rush for the tube.

This place is like the TARDIS it looks big from the outside but when you go in and walk around the shops to the back and knowing there is a big arena in there as well it feels like it's 10x bigger on the inside. I went through from the back of the 02 after doing the up at the 02 experience going over the roof and it was getting late so was really quiet there I would love to go back again and have a proper look around and see all the stuff I missed as I didn't have time to look around. This place is really impressive and worth a visit.

Here for a Genesis concert. Easy to get to. Good acoustics. Plenty of food and drunk options and helpful staff to guide you to the right place. Wouldn't want to sit right at the back or on the flat floor where inevitably people tend to stand but our raked seats were good.

This was our first visit to the O2, and it's such an amazing venue. I'd just presumed it just held the stadium. How wrong was I. It's got a huge shopping arcade with lots of great shops, including designer. There are also lots of great bars and restaurants to choose from. The stadium itself is well laid out and super easy to find your way around. Will definitely be heading here more often. We saw Madonna and had the most amazing time!

A perfect venue for concerts and events. Had two incredible nights by attending the last show of Genesis here in March 2022 and the first gig of Depeche mode for 2024 last night. Both sold out.

A Saturday afternoon spent walking around the O2 complex. Bought a cap in Lidz for my son and a cap in the F1 shop for myself. Arrived on the Thames Clipper and left on the cable car. The place is very clean and tidy. Lots of shops and food choices too. I would recommend it to anyone.

Went to the 02 to see Madness tour 2023. The group never let us down with some new but not forgetting all the old classics. Had a great night. The 02 is a wonderful venue with restaurants and bars galore. Something to suit everybody's taste. Highly recommend. We travelled by train and tube and it was easy to get 2.

I went with my friend to see Bring Me the Horizon. Getting there was really easy, getting inside was also simple, the organisation was great, the concert itself was incredible! Plenty of places to get food and drinks before the show, but they close before the show ends. Would definitely recommend getting some water if you plan on dancing. Getting out of the arena itself wasn’t too bad, but the transport connections to get back to where we were staying was a little crazy. We waited out the mad rush at the five guys in the O2 though and it did help with the craziness.

Seats were in the O2 deck. View was great- nice to have a bar to lean on and more space around you; however, be prepared to stand on the foot rests of the bar stools if the guys in front of you stand up 😁. Food was good, meal and drink included. Service good too. It was a brilliant night. Great venue and awesome performance 🤩🎶🎵🎸💗

As a travel agent I still love to continue to experience much of the UK as possible and keep it local , and love a visit to the O2 it didn't disappoint , with great restaurants - Jimmy's and Five Guys both tasty 😋, the of course the incredibly fun Arena with the stars - there's plenty going on all the time , the Up at the O2 was fabulous to do , and much thanks to our guide George he looked after the whole group , it was exhilarating. There are many photo point too , they aren't all here but to give an idea. And take a trip over to the Emirates cable car it great on a sunny day.

I was a first-time visitor to the O2, and WOW, I had a very good meal b4 a great show. The arena is amazing, shopping, eating, and show, all under 1 roof. Loved the whole experience. The only negative were the extortionate food and drink prices in the theatre

The venue's striking architecture and efficient layout made navigating through the crowds a breeze, enhancing the overall experience. The event I attended was meticulously organized, with every aspect seeming to operate seamlessly. The sound quality was exceptional, creating an immersive atmosphere that made the performance even more captivating. Not to mention, the variety of food and drink options available was impressive, catering to all tastes and preferences. Furthermore, the staff at The O2 were outstanding. Their professionalism and friendliness contributed significantly to the welcoming and vibrant atmosphere. They were attentive, helpful, and went above and beyond to ensure that every visitor had a memorable experience. But what truly sets The O2 apart is its ability to transform any event into an extraordinary experience. Whether it's a concert, a sports event, or a family show, The O2 ensures that each moment is special and unforgettable. In conclusion, my experience at The O2 was nothing short of phenomenal. It's a top-tier venue that excels in every aspect, from its architectural brilliance to its exceptional service and world-class events. A visit to The O2 is a must for anyone looking for an unparalleled entertainment experience in London.

Such a nice place to visit and spend time during the weekend. You would be able to do you shopping and after that to enjoy a drink or something to eat in these lovely places inside the commercial centre.

An amazing night for BMTH/Bad Omens/Static Dress, the O2 is an amazing venue. We were up in section 403 but still had an amazing view. The staff and security were very efficient with entry/exit and dealing with any issues people had in the crowd. The O2 is a must venue for any event

Best place to visit and great combination of shopping, dining and entertainment. You can find the branded store like Nike, Adidas, Superdry, Sketchers, Levi’s, Calvin Klein etc as well as enjoy the variety of food in restaurants with better options. The visitors also can spend their time in the Cinema as well as experience the live concerts and programs in the O2 Arena. Along with this viewers can also walk over the top of the arena and take a breathtaking view of the O2 arena as well as other surrounding. Overall it’s a perfect place to hangout and enjoy your time with lovely people around

I love the O2, after all this time in lockdown, this is the first time I went to a concert, and I spent half of it crying rivers of happiness. Simply Red is absolutely superb! by the way 😊. The place is very well organised, the logistics is perfect and the staff are very helpful and friendly. I was greatly surprised that the O2 has some machines that purify the air, and kill the virus and bacterias effectively, which reassures me the place is taking very seriously the safety of the public. Even the dome of the O2 is fun, because it can be climbed if you like strong emotions 😊The O2 is full of restaurants, cafes and shops for all tastes, there is an outlet, which it was closed due some repair works, after the storm we had a couple of weeks broke the dome, but I'm quite sure it will be ready in no time. Means of transports are always available, tube is a couple of minutes away from the venue. If you want to have an unforgettable day, pop in to this wonderful place.

Good, recommended venue. Good visibility from all places. Big but still a good size. Very organised. Obviously depends on the show. Queen was phenomenal, a legend on stage. Be aware that only card payment is accepted and only tiny bags are allowed inside.

Great place to visit, plenty going on from shows to restaurants to thrill adventures. Lots of building going on with new fabulous places to eat. Don’t wait until you’re in the arena to eat, it’s not great and costs a fortune. Much be better choices before you go in. Love some of the new seating areas

Haven't been in ages but it's finally becoming an interesting place to visit for a few hours. Great two mile walk to the Thames Barrier, or head the other way into Greenwich. Had some good shops and plenty of places to eat. Great just wondering down to the river and watching The activity in the Thames. Great transport links too. Not quite sure what's the point of a suspended bar, but if people are happy to be separated from their money for this, then why not fleece them!

My review got removed - very nice. Water is £4.10 for a small bottle. Prices are basically extortionate. After I saw BMTH there were gangs waiting outside (I was one of the first groups to leave) ready to rob people (faces covered some wearing full on ski masks with caps). Saw another group like this on the way to the car park. Good - the show, lights, music, etc. Bad - Potential of being robbed or having your life taken away.

Great venue and the seating was comfortable with a good view on the Pepsi max deck. The bar and toilets were right outside the area in the foyer. Generally very clean and we entered and left. Drinks prices were expensive compared to what I am used to but I don't live in London so unsure if £9 a pint is normal. One downside is how crowded the trains get aftwards with thousands all descending onto the underground etc.

I did the 'up at the O2' walk over the roof with my family. Highly recommend it. Brilliant day out and fantastic experience. I'm asthmatic and managed it perfectly fine, although I was a bit slow! Parking very expensive though, so we travelled to and from by bus, which were really frequent.

Lovely experience! Even with Covid, the experience was great. With it being outdoors for the most part, masks are only required indoor which is a relief especially to those wearing glasses (me!) Our instructor/guide was great and made the experience really exciting, particularly helping in pointing out landmarks etc. The climb itself does require you to put a reasonable amount of effort in, especially on the way down but it such a great laugh and sense of achievement once done. It really isn’t as scary as it might seem to some. We did this in October 2020 but will be coming back again in the height of summer too. Thank you to all of the staff and our guide names Claire.

Did the walk over the o2, an interesting experience using the via ferreta method of climbing. Having done similar experiences before I found ot a bit too easy and a bit excessive on the kit they required you to use. I feel that the overall experience was good but lacking any real challenge (and a zipline). Ending up I what looks like a bit of waste ground at the back did not give the experience the finish it needed, hence only 3 stars.

Amazing to finally see Diana Ross! 23/06/2022. The O2 is still my most favourite live music venue. The seats were a bit of a let down though far too tight for the bigger built people but once she appeared I was up on my feet anyway. She sounded incredible it's a shame the venue has that 11pm curfew but none the less a great night was had by all.

The O2 Arena, located in Greenwich, is one of the most iconic entertainment venues in London. As a state-of-the-art arena, it has been the site of countless memorable concerts, sporting events, and other performances. From the moment you step into the O2 Arena, you are met with a stunning atmosphere. The venue has been designed to provide an excellent viewing experience for everyone, regardless of where they are seated. The seating arrangement is quite spacious, allowing for plenty of legroom and comfort, even for those who are seated at the back of the arena. The acoustics of the venue are superb, ensuring that every note, sound, and word is crystal clear, even at the highest volume levels. The lighting is also top-notch, adding to the excitement of the performances and enhancing the overall experience. One of the most impressive things about the O2 Arena is the sheer variety of events that are hosted here. From world-class musical acts and international sporting events to comedy shows and family-friendly performances, the O2 Arena offers something for everyone. The lineup of events is constantly changing, so there is always something new and exciting to look forward to. The facilities at the O2 Arena are also first-class. The venue is clean, well-maintained, and easy to navigate. There are plenty of food and drink options available, as well as numerous restrooms and other amenities. Overall, the O2 Arena in Greenwich is a fantastic venue that should be on every entertainment lover's bucket list. The excellent atmosphere, incredible acoustics, and wide range of events make it a must-visit destination for anyone looking to experience top-quality entertainment in London.

Went to see Pete Tongs Ibiza Classics at The O2, and so happy we did. What. A. Night! Everything you want from a concert. A fab venue, fantastic music with an amazing atmosphere. A great DJ (Andy Baxter) to start things off and then Jules Buckley conducting the Essential Music Orchestra and Pete Tong on the decks. The music was 🙌🏻🙌🏻 and I am a House Music lover. Swedish House Mafia at the end too….best night 🤩 Would throughly recommend it!

Have been here for a few gigs and each time it's been excellent. There is parking nearby which costs £7.50 for the day, if you pay when you arrive, compared to when you leave, you'll save yourself about £15. There is lots to do in the O2 as well as concerts. There are 20+ places to eat from fast food to good quality meals at sit down restaurants. There is a good range of outlet shops with good deals. I'd definitely recommend going early if you have an event to attend to walk around.

The O2 Arena is one of the most iconic entertainment venues in the world. Its unique design, located within a former industrial structure, makes it a standout architectural masterpiece. The arena is renowned for hosting a wide range of events, including concerts, sporting events, and exhibitions. One of its most notable features is its capacity; it can hold up to 20,000 people, making it one of the largest indoor arenas globally. This size, combined with its state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems, ensures an incredible experience for concertgoers. The acoustics are generally excellent, allowing for an immersive audio experience. The O2 Arena's location in London is another advantage. Situated in the Greenwich Peninsula, it offers stunning views of the city skyline and the River Thames. It's easily accessible via public transportation, including the Jubilee Line on the London Underground. However, like many large venues, prices for food and drinks can be quite high. Additionally, due to its size, navigating the arena can be a bit challenging during sold-out events. In summary, the O2 Arena is an impressive venue that has become synonymous with world-class entertainment. Its design, location, and capabilities make it a must-visit for anyone looking to experience a memorable event in London.

Not my first visit but each time I have enjoyed myself. This time was for the Muse concert which was AMAZING! Great facilities, quick and easy to get drinks with plenty of bar areas to accommodate the volumes of people. You can also order for click and collect to save time, which is a great idea though I’ve not yet needed to use it. I love the arena, it has a great atmosphere. There’s always plenty of staff to help should you need it. The toilets are clean and there are many of them so you don’t have to queue too long, unlike many places. Vast choice of places to eat and drink before the show and even some outlet shopping. Could easily spend most of the day and evening here. Will be coming back many times I’m sure.

Always have good experience there, the last time I took my 4 year old to the Disney On Ice show and we had great time. Ate some sushi before the show. There are some good stores to visit. Sometimes it takes too long to find a restroom and I wasn't happy when was asked to throw away our filtered from home water and my daughter to drink tap instead. But I get it, she'll be fine.

It is right in front of you. Extra walk but you will not be disappointed. Extra bonus is if you are going into the arena there is an entrance right by this restaurant without queues of people!!!!!

Seats, especially the boxes are quite good. Toilets are clean, shows are at a high quality. Food is very overpriced so I recommend you eat-up at home or at a different place if you don't want to starve or be forced to pay very high prices. Regardless though, the food is quite good so there's that but it's not worth the money.

This was my first time at this venue and it didn't disappoint. Initial thoughts were I was impressed with all the eating places and shopping centre. Then getting into the arena didn't take too long despite the security measures and due to all the escalators getting out was just as easy. Great view from seats in the upper tier, row E. Will definitely return.

Impressive venue. Unfortunately a total pain to get to from the west so I now tend to be put off going there. The staff used to be friendly but now they seem to spend their entire time policing seating- even when there is hundreds of empty seats. Also stop you standing when you're not blocking anyone's view. Worst is the absolutely disgusting prices for drinks and food. We're talking close to £10 for a single beer. God knows how people afford to bring groups/family there. Means we spend as long as possible outside or somewhere else just to get an affordable drink and some food which is stressful. I have enjoyed shows there in the past but the staff need retraining and the concessions are a disgrace- they need to do some kind of offers/discounts. It's alright but if you can see the show you're interested in somewhere else I would.

(Translated by Google) The Millennium Dome is the largest single roof structure in the world. Externally it resembles a large white tent with 100 m high yellow support towers, one for each month of the year or each hour on the clock face, representing the role played by Greenwich Mean Time. Its plant is circular, 365 m in diameter, one for each day of the year, with wavy edges. It has become one of the most recognizable unique buildings in the UK, easily visible from the air. Its exterior is reminiscent of the Dome of Discovery built for the 1951 Festival of Britain. The Millennium Dome's architect was Richard Rogers and was built by Sir Robert McAlpine. The building's structure was designed by Buro Happold, the entire roof structure weighing less than the air contained by the building. Although it is called a dome, it is not strictly so as it does not support its own weight and requires the help of a network of cables supported by masts. [1] The awning is made of fiberglass cloth coated with PTFE, a durable and weather-resistant plastic, reaching 50 m high in the center. Its symmetry is interrupted by a hole through which a ventilation shaft exits the Blackwall Tunnel. Aside from the dome itself, the project included the reclamation of the entire Greenwich Peninsula. The land had previously been abandoned and contaminated by toxic sludge from a former gas plant that operated between 1889 and 1985. The cleanup operations were viewed by then Deputy Prime Minister Michael Heseltine as an investment that would add a large area of useful land to the crowded capital. They were funded as part of the more ambitious plan to regenerate a large sparsely populated area in East London south of the Thames, initially called the East Thames Corridor but later promoted as the Thames Gateway. This area is served by the North Greenwich subway station, opened just before the Millennium Dome, belonging to the Jubilee Line.

Haidilao the newly opened Chinese hot pot restaurant is doing a good deal for those who love Chinese hotpot/steamboat dishes.very clean and efficient and classy dishes and a bit pricey for an average day out, with the 50% off the food government promotion scheme it is worth it.

The best indoor venue I have ever been to! Such a huge place and make sure you arrive before any event by at least 1 hour as it can be a long walk to get inside the the O2 and then to go through the security and to your seat. Nevertheless, the staff are very informative, friendly, and helpful. The atmosphere was amazing as we attended The Script concert. A night to remember!

Uneducated security team, absolute nobodies who escalate the situation for no reason. Was stopped and asked what I was doing on the o2 peninsula, what an absurd question? I then had police brought to the location, whereby on arrival they detained me. Told me there was a terror threat due to the Ariana Grande concert, implied i was the threat, asked me useless questions, let me go. As if this wasn't bad enough, approximately 14 minutes later the same thing happened again, i have both stop and search receipts to this day, both timed and dated within 20 minutes on one another. Useless staff, useless front of house team, will be organising a large scale boycott soon. Worst part? I actually go to university here, and i'm there most days.

This used to be the Millennium Dome which was a disastrous financial (and political ) failure as an exhibition space, that has now morphed into a more successful arena and exhibition area on the Greenwich peninsular. It is served by the Jubilee Underground line. It is the ninth largest building by volume in the world and crosses the meridian line of Greenwich.

Always a good place to find a variety of restaurants and food. Nice and compact venue with great transport links - underground, bus, taxis etc... My only reservation is this place is not really a serene family or romantic venue, especially in the evening due to overcrowding and noise.

Visited with my son for the WWE Live event. Had to queue for ages for the merch desk but everyone seemed reasonably happy to do so. All restaurants and food outlets were open and very busy , for those interested, masks weren't very much in evidence. We were told beforehand that we would need a covid pass to get into the arena but no one had theirs checked as far as I could see. Overall , pretty happy with the whole experience , was good to get back to an arena event again. For anyone unsure about crowds and lack of social distancing though , I would say it's best to avoid for the time being.

What's cool about the spot - Fantastic location, well connected by tube and buses. Lots of shopping and restaurant options. Movie screens are very nice and usually screens them on Day1 of release. Weekends so get crowded inside the mall, however plenty of space inside and outside. It's an all in 1 place for an evening/weekend chill. Recommended. If you found my review useful, please do give it a 👍 and follow me on Google Maps for more useful tips around the world.

The O2 Arena is fantastic, lots of restaurant options, bars, security checks are fast and efficient, the stage effects of the concert (fire, smoke, dancing lights etc) all amazing. The only reason why I am giving a 4star is because I have been multiple times for concerts or stand up comedies and the service at the bar of the arena is always too slow - all the bar tenders serving there seem to be very inexperienced. I think that if they give them some prior training, especially because they are serving massive crowds for such big events, that would greatly not only leave every customer happier, but also they will be able to sell more drinks which is better for them

Mamma Mia the experience. Well I cannot express in words how amazing this was. The room is warm so it feels like you are abroad, you are made to feel as if you are in a Taverna in Greece. The show was amazing, food was good. Drinks were not overly expensive. Staff friendly and smiley. This is definitely worth a night out i only wished we dressed up and taken low sticks. An extremely interactive show xxx

Went to see Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds and it was brilliant. The sound was fantastic, the seats were good where we were sat but reckon they'd be good everywhere. The amenities were nice and can be found everywhere easily. Bars and food is plentiful. Only thing is everything is a tad expensive but that's to be expected. Easy to get to by car or rail. If parking, prebook your space for a reasonable discount.

Absolutely amazing night at the o2 for jingle bell ball. All staff i interacted with were nice and helpful. Plenty of toilets. Well organised layout. Only shocker was £21 for two drinks! But i should have foreseen that. The only other downside is that once the concert finished everything was shut no food places no bars nothing. They would make a fortune staying open to the thousands of hungry and thirsty customers leaving the concert. So that was disappointing. Other than that a good night

Amazing venue holds 20K, I saw Pete Tong and his Orchestra playing all the Ibiza classics. Drinks are extortionate in the arena itself, I paid £17 for a double gin and tonic and £9 for a pint. The venue has loads of restaurants and bars outside the arena and transport links are great

  • 5/5 Rahul R. 4 months ago on Google
Exploring The O2 in London was a mixed experience. While the variety of shops and dining options was appealing, the bustling crowds at peak hours made it a bit overwhelming. The shopping choices catered to different tastes, and the dining offered a decent range of cuisines. However, the overall pricing seemed a tad steep. Despite the crowds, the venue's vibrant energy and diverse offerings made it a worthwhile visit for a day of shopping and dining.

Amazing experience. If you don't know they have a huge range of shops and restaurants inside the Dome . The arena is huge. Seats are by far the most comfy . Drinks prices are above average like any other arena

Went to see Ateez in on their Break The Wall tour on 22nd February 2023. We were here for about 5/6 hours before we were allowed to enter, but that was because we wanted to meet other fans and explore The O2. There are plenty of shops and things to do while waiting for whatever you're going to see. The O2 is literally a shopping centre with an arena in the centre. The people with VIP and standing tickets had been waiting outside since the morning so they could get the best view in front of the stage. Once the gates opened for general seating, it took less than 5 minutes for me to pass security, and then there was a further ~5 minutes waiting to enter the actual arena. You aren't allowed to bring food and drinks through security, but they offer them outside the arena. It's a bit pricey but worth it since you might get hungry and especially thirsty during the concert. The higher seats at the back (I was in section 410) are probably not a good idea if you're afraid of heights as the slope is quite steep and you're really high up, one of my friends I met at the concert had to step out for a bit because of this. Despite sitting at the back, the music was loud, and it had an amazing view. It actually felt closer to the stage than it really was. Overall 10/10 experience. I'd definitely go back to the O2 arena again.

Tents are great! The O2 is located in the Millenium dome, now repurposed as a shopping eating and entertainment complex. It works very well, useful that you walk around from the entrance. Turn right for bars, restaurants and turn left for outlet shopping. Of course it doesn’t really matter which way you turn as it’s a circle. There are quite a few chain food outlets that are not available in the rest of the UK. Lots of great bars, and of course if you have a ticket for a big event, then a really fun day and night out could be had. Easy to get to by tube bus or cable car, there’s plenty of parking too, just off the end of the A2 Bag check for larger bags is made on arrival. Not a big bother, it’s not an airport

Went to see Monster trucks Glow party 🥳 Was a great evening out with the kiddos, the show was awesome and the O2 is epic As big as it is with lots of different things going on at once, the staff were super friendly and helpful and everything was spotlessly clean. The only downside is the parking. Roads were closed to 2 of the pay per hour carparks which had a 35min detour or you go to the only one accessible from one side and get stung for £40 parking charge for a 2 hr show.
