London Bridge is actually the bridge from which we can see iconic Tower bridge from great distance. Initially I misinterpreted that london bridge is actually the iconic bridge people talk about but its a different bridge just besides tower bridge (the Iconic one). I went on Saturday and it was full of crowds. Its one the romantic and beautiful place one can visit. Spectacular experience!!! Cheers to life!!!

Superb! London Bridge, steeped in history and architectural splendor, stands as an iconic symbol of London's past and present. The bridge itself offers stunning panoramic views of the Thames River and the cityscape. It's not just a crossing; it's a testament to London's endurance, having stood witness to centuries of change. From an adult's perspective, the bridge embodies a blend of tradition and modernity. Its surroundings boast historic landmarks like the Tower of London and Borough Market, offering a rich cultural experience for history buffs and food enthusiasts alike. The area's vibrancy, coupled with the constant stream of commuters and tourists, adds an undeniable energy to the atmosphere. However, the bridge's popularity means it can get crowded, especially during peak times. Yet, the sight of the iconic Tower Bridge nearby and the vibrant life along the Thames makes it a captivating spot to soak in London's essence. For adults seeking a glimpse into London's past while being amidst its present vibrancy, London Bridge holds an undeniable allure.

It is one of the iconic places in London. Here, you can enjoy seeing the bridge lights at night. You can see the river, with a view of the skyscrapers. A few minutes walking, and then you can visit the tower of Lindon

One of the best place in the world. A beautiful bridge at river Thames. Now called as tower bridge. It is an iconic place to visit. It is amazing to watch the bridges lift for the passing of the ship. It has an amazing history behind it. A must visit spot in London. No much crowd . Amazing place to relax and for photo shoots and also amazing place to get an amazing view. If at all you are planing to visit London don’t miss tower bridge. Don’t confuse tower bridge with London bridge. You have bus services and metro services available to reach easily. Don’t miss the evening lights . Best during the Christmas times. Overall one of the best places visited. Just loved it . 😍😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️

It was amazing seeing the London Bridge for the first time. A world heritage landmark. I never tire of seeing this bridge from different vantage points and different times of day. It is probably the best known and most photogenic bridge in the world. Explore the river Bank in its shadow either side and you will discover all manner of historic gems.

Really cool historical site to visit. The bridge is not massive but it is impressive because it has stood the test of time. Make sure to take a stroll on the bridge and take some amazing pictures. There can be a lot of traffic depending on the time of the day so be mindful about that. The Shard is right across the river bank.

London bridge is an important landmark in the city, it has amazing view and you could take photo from different place for the bride. I highly recommended to visit it in the day and if you could visit it once again in the night. In the day it looks fantastic. There are some cafes around it and you could enjoy drink and look at the bridge.

One of the most enjoyable experiences in London is walking at night. The city is full of life, with crowds of people and lots of activities on the public roads. You can see the lights of the famous landmarks, hear the music from the pubs and clubs, and smell the food from the street vendors. London is a place where you can find something for everyone, whether you are looking for culture, entertainment, or relaxation. Walking at night in London is a great way to explore the city and discover its charm.

I love this bridge so much! 😍 I absolutely love architecture and so having this amazing stature in London is just mind blowing 🤯 I've seen it in pictures and never been on it. but it ceases to amaze me. I love taking photos from here as well as the bridge itself. Would always recommend this as a must do when visiting London. 10/10! ☺️

The bridge in the very popular nursery rhyme... and yes, it is still standing! Love this place as it gives you a good view of the Tower Bridge. One of my favorite markets is also located here, the Borough market. Take your cameras out and enjoy the view!

London Bridge is amazing! It's this cool bridge over the River Thames with great vibes. You can walk across it and see awesome views of the city. The river below and the busy life on the bridge make it exciting. There are a lot of shops with eateries and gift items along the footpath. You can enjoy delicious foods while gazing at the beautiful London bridge. I had seen only in movies, hence was quite exciting experience for me.

Really enjoyed visiting London Bridge, We visited twice whilst in London and found the morning is extremely busy although it’s a great atmosphere when bustling with people from all over the world it does make it quite cramped and takes a lot longer to walk across You have to try the street food trailers which are delicious it’s positioned between the bridge and the Tower of London overlooking the Thames.

It's a big bridge in central London. However, I decided to go under it on this visit. Along the shoreline of the Thames. It's an unusual experience and I recommend it. Not all my images are from directly below London bridge, but about half mile either side, perhaps.

Someone told me that London needs to be seen during the day and the night. London City is loud but colourful during the day. But during the night it is quiet and mysterious . When I walked through the London bridge I was feeling so relaxed, happy and free. Beautiful lights everywhere, sounds of the Thames river. Gulls resting on the water buoy, The boats swim on the river. Those moments make me smile. On my spontaneous adventure I found The Balloon Museum. I strongly recommend visiting. You have to go! I love to spend time with my daughter near the Tower of London. At any time day or night.... We have been there every year, before Xmas and during summer time.. On the way back home we usually stop at Shoreditch to look at the Graffiti Arts . Doing what you love is freedom. Loving what you do is happiness.

An iconic London landmark and one of Britain's best loved historic sites, Tower Bridge is open to the public 363 days a year. Within the Bridge's iconic structure and magnificent Victorian Engine rooms, the Tower Bridge Exhibition is the best way of exploring the most famous bridge in the world! Come learn about this incredible feat of Victorian engineering, discover how the Bridge is raised and enjoy stunning panoramic views across London from our high-level walkways, 42 metres above the River Thames.

The bridge itself is really pretty and having a walk on it is totally worth it. The museum on the top is also nice to be seen, but at the same time it’s quite pricey(12 errors per adult and 6 per child), having in mind most of the great London museums are free.

It was a nice place to visit and spending most of the time now its too cold. London Bridge is amazing! It's this cool bridge over the River Thames with a mix of old and new vibes. You can walk across it and see awesome views of the city. The river below and the busy life on the bridge make it exciting. What's neat is that London Bridge has been rebuilt a bunch of times, showing how strong and resilient it is. It's not just for walking – cars use it too! Around the bridge, there are lots of shops, places to eat, and cool things to check out. Day or night, the views are fantastic. It's like a symbol of London's history and how it keeps moving forward. If you're in London, you gotta see London Bridge!

Beautiful place. Many restaurants around serving different cuisines to match your taste buds. Cross the bridge you will be at Monument. The Great 🔥 of London started at Pudding Lane which just 1 min walk from Monument. Walk down the river bank to reach Tower of London. You get boats & cruises from the Pier. A great place to enjoy the warm sunny day in London.

London Bridge was a memorable experience it is the only bridge in the whole world which open apps and refold itself to let the big ships pass through it. This experience was very memorable as the other bridges and London Eye also visible from this bridge the local market is also nearby and it is also adjacent by a very fancy restaurant where the cushions are very delicious but it is an expensive one.

The London bridge is very popular and popular in our nursery rhymes. Lovely view around the river banks and a great view of tower bridge. One of the London's favourite borough Market located here. I would suggest explore the river bank in many walks, bars and restaurants or cruise along the Thames from Butler's wharf. The view on this bridge in the night is spectacular with those lighting. You will always enjoy the beautiful panorama of the city. PS: Many people and their reviews being reviewed on tower bridge for London bridge. There are two different bridges London bridge and tower bridge which are parallel to each other.

London...rain...and rarely sun...yup its London. 😊 Otherwise it's a nice city, lot to see and do. I was on a short trip, like 2 days. I was mostly walking because in the morning and the afternoon, the traffic is awful. Faster walking sometimes then taking a car or bus. I used once the underground but I felt lost. I also had to get use to the left side driving. Must see the London Bridge, Big Ben...and the famous areas or buildings. Take a rain jacket or umbrella!!! If you planing to use transportation then you have to buy the card and fill up with money and use that. Underground before you enter and before you leave the must check your travel card in. On the bus you have to use it before you get on, front of the driver has a machine and just tap on it. I used Oyster card

Wow! Magical once in a lifetime experience! It was amazing seeing the London Bridge from the deck of the Dixie Queen. A world heritage landmark that really comes alive at night. A must see attraction when visting London, you get to see the bridge from different vantage points and different times of day. It is probably the best known and most photographed bridge in the world. Explore the river Bank in the many walks, bars and restaurants or cruise along the Thames from Butler's Wharf and take in the views. We were very privileged to experience the bridge being raised for us to pass through, truly memorable.

How was London Bridge you ask ? The station or the actual bridge structure? I go past the bridge structure every day 3-4 days a week commute on my way to the station which is just south of the river. So practically north London 😂🤣 The views in the morning can be absolutely stunning with the sun rising behind Tower Bridge, another London landmark, to your left as you head south. The views are so breathtaking sometimes that I have to get of the bus a stop early and walk back over the bridge to capture the colourful sunrise. The views in the evening can be quite good as well with the atmosphere in the area more boisterous especially at weekends when quite few people are either going to or already had post work drinks. I love this commute, it always a nice start or end to my working day. When I don’t WFH! The station its self is actually situated at the bottom of London’s tallest skyscraper. I still can’t figure out how the managed to construct the tallest building in the UK over one of the busiest stations in London and still keep th station running. The tracks/platforms are situated on a partially refurbished Victorian viaduct with the station concourse below. London Bridge refurbished mainline station ( because there is also a tube station 😂) is a marvel of Engineering and Architecture. Huge Cavernous modern station with step free access to all its very long 15 platforms. It lovely in summer but can feel quite cold in the depths of winter with winds often swirling within this modern humongous cave. That how London Bridge was…..

London Bridge is always a great area. The Shard is like a beacon to cafes, historical pubs in little atmospheric alleyways and the Borough Market. Definitely a great place to work, shop and play. And there is Guys Hospital. A flagship of the NHS. Go for a stroll between the teaching buildings. Have a chat with your future Doctors and Nurses.

I wanted more from this experience. It is pretty cool going down under the actual London Bridge and being underground and learning about some of the history. They do a good job telling some stories of the London Bridge throughout the centuries and do it with comedy. I just thought we'd get more history and the experience would be a bit longer.

For nearly 2,000 years, a series of bridges has spanned the River Thames in London. The "Old" London Bridge of nursery rhyme fame was a stone bridge built by Peter of Colechurch, an architect and priest, between 1176 and 1209. It replaced various wooden bridges built by the Roman founders of London from AD 50–1176. Olaf II of Norway, King of Norway from 1015 to 1028, led military campaigns to unite Norway into one kingdom. One of these campaigns was a sea-based attack in 1014 that pulled down one of the wooden bridges. Two other wooden bridges were built and subsequently destroyed during this turbulent time in England's early history.

Opened to traffic in 1973 and has succeeded a number of timber bridges, the first of which was built by the Romans. The modern bridge is owned and maintained by Bridge House Estates, an independent charity of medieval origin overseen by the City of London Corporation. The nearest London Underground stations are Monument, at the northern end of the bridge, and London Bridge at the southern end. London Bridge station is also served by National Rail. You will have access to the parliamentarians as well as Big Ben, London eye plus many but can’t remember them all

Love London Bridge as a running spot. Must go by if you’re in town. Tons of restaurants and bars around, too.

London budge is used as a symbol of London and is recognisable to visitors from all over the world – even if the majority of people don't know what it is actually called. London Bridge – London Bridge has existed in one form or another from years. It's the site of the oldest crossing of the River Thames on record.

It was amazing seeing the London Bridge for the first time. It's a nice structure for everyone to see. The reception was soo superb with bar, coffee ☕ shop, restaurants with variety of meals etc. If you happen to be in London one of this days, make a time to visit London Bridge.

We missed this attraction last visit to London, but managed to get there this time. It is a good way to get from one side of the River Thames to the other 😁

London Bridge is beautiful. I have lived in the UK for over a year and always said I will go but never made out time, but I had to last night and it was phenomenal. The view at night is awesome. The scenery is amazing, the architecture, the atmosphere everything was just perfect. Be sure to visit London Bridge sometime soon and you will be tempted to take as many pictures as I did because it is totally mind blowing.

The wiew is wonderful. One day, calmly go to London Bridge and enjoy the view. Do not rush. Tower Bridge in front of you, history on one side and modern towers on the other. Under the bridge is the great river Thames

London bridge is the bridge from where you can see the tower bridge (people call the tower bridge as ‘London bridge’, but that’s incorrect) London bridge is just a few steps away from the London bridge station While going there on the left you’ll find the borough market which is very famous London bridge is a clean place and commuters use this bridge the most to cross the Thames You can also see the beautiful landscape of the side opposite to the tower bridge And tower bridge is just a 10 min walk from here

It's a bridge,so its use is pretty straightforward. However, one can't help feeling impressed by its magnificent architecture. Imagine what a sight it must have been all these years ago when they built it. This is one of those places that will leave you feel impressed.

It’s a bridge, supposedly it goes up and down and only 1/2 people will take a photo of you if you ask. The area is nice, lots of joggers and tourists. I really am only leaving a review for google points. The double decker tourist buses do pick up here and there is quite a history about the town. Maybe get a tour guide, would have made it more special for me.

What beats a free attraction? The bridge is massive and it's a good view of the river. The only weird this is picture shown here is of tower bridge, not the bridge of London

  • 5/5 Imran K. 10 months ago on Google
Just under the London Bridge there are good places to chill by the river... cool shard view too!!! Surprisingly not too crowded too!!! Relax walking on the both sides of the river towards city or tower bridge...

There are better bridges in Detroit. Save yourself the intrigue, the area is full of life by the common goers but this is not a must see attraction. At night, the city glows and a nice stroll will be romantic but don’t rush this way if its your first time in London. Sorry but not sorry🤷🏿‍♀️

Enjoy a breathtaking vista of The Shard and The Tower Bridge. With a conveniently located subway station nearby, I highly recommend visiting in the evening to witness the mesmerizing illumination of both The Shard and the Tower Bridge.

  • 5/5 DJ L. 5 months ago on Google
London Bridge itself is not as spectacular as some of the other bridges but the view was amazing overlooking the Tower Bridge. Keep walking from south bank to north bank and you'll see the Monument on your left hand side

  • 5/5 Ronald A. 5 months ago on Google
Nice visiting such historical monuments. There is a lot to do around there area also. Make sure to go when the market is open as Mondays it is closed.

The scenery is beautiful to walk across takes a bit of time due to people stopping taking photos but it’s worth it for the views of London.
