Really bland and cold food, long wait for orders and some waiters are really snappy and rude. After 21.30 it gets really loud as they open the dance floor (so loud one barely can hear their own thoughts). Not going back.

IF YOU'RE VEGETARIAN - AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAQUE! Our recent dinner here was a mixed bag. To start off there is very limited parking in site but there is free off street parking after 6.30pm. The starters and mains were really amazing and well priced. The drinks were a highlight, impressing us with their quality and reasonable pricing. The restaurant's ambiance was captivating, with beautiful decor. The DJ played some good music and the atmosphere was fun. However, the experience was slightly marred by a miscommunication regarding the vegetarian dishes. Despite our explicit requests, there was a mix-up with the orders, leading to non-vegetarian dishes being served directly (despite double checking when it was served and was told it was veg) to some in our group who are pure vegetarian. The waitress seemed rude and her attitude was not professional. There were a few dishes dropped on the table and even the floor by this same person (she clearly looked like she didn't want to be there). This oversight was regrettable and impacted the overall enjoyment of the evening. Edit to add: a friend of my colleague went to this restaurant recently and they were served non-veg dumplings when they specifically ordered vegetarian dishes (religiously pure veg). The manager on top of that was unhelpful and called the police because the family was mad they were served meat. Completely unacceptable service! Would never go back and would not recommend to anyone anymore!!

The service was not that great. We went with vegetarians and they kept messing up with the orders and brought non- vegetarian food for veggies. The food was a bit spicier even though we asked to make it a bit milder. So some dishes we were unable to enjoy. Some staff were rude and the attitude was not good, even when the staff made mistakes, didn't apologize. The manager was alright. Overall the food was delicious and if you can handle spicy food then it will be okay. The prices are reasonable. The cocktails were okay. There was a DJ and they played Indian music. That was fun and we enjoyed it a lot. The place closed around 1 am. They have only a few parking in their own. There is some roadside parking that is free after 6.30pm but if you have to park before that there is a charge to it.

This is a gem of a restaurant in Ruislip. Being Vegetarian, I was surprised to see so many vegetarian options. We ordered dahi ke kebab and paneer khurchan takos 🌮 for starters and they were dellllllicious 😋. For mains we ordered Five spice potato aubergine and Paneer makhanwala with chilli-garlic nan, triple cheese nan and layered paratha for breads. The portions were decent good enough for 3-4 ppl and taste was really delicious. For deserts we ordered Ghewar-rabdi and Gulab-jamun with ice cream. The presentation was wonderful and taste was yummilicious. The ambience was fine and location of restaurant was close to station and can be easily located. I would recommend this place for delicious food.

Nice place with a nice atmosphere. The staff were really nice and friendly. The starters and drinks were really nice, however the vegan burger main was a bit basic. Parking is limited which isn't great, although you can park on the main road which is pay and display, with free parking on Sunday. Overall, a nice venue/restaurant and I'd recommend a visit.

Over priced Resturant & Bar, we didn’t feel welcome in the place. Lot of thought process is gone , in building the place . Ambience is awesome compared to location, service was ok , we except to be treated better. Menu is simple with classic cocktails and priced similar to Resturant. There were lot of staffs and I can see , systems in place, however service is below average. Definitely recommend to try the place with reservation before hand.

Had such a lovely time here, food was great and we received the best service! For starters we tried the: - Chacha’s signature wings - Aloo tiki jar - Tandoori Salmon All 3 were great but the standout one for me was the salmon which was amazinggggg 🤩 For mains I had the maharaja lamb burger whilst my fiancé had the chicken curry, again we really enjoyed all our food - the masala chips which came with the burger were so good! For dessert I had our lovely waitress recommendation the “Chai Pannacotta” which was unusual but surprisingly tasty! Can’t forget the cocktails too! I went for the “candy shop” and the “don’t text your ex” 🤤 Last but not least, can’t forget to thank our amazing waitress Julie for being super accommodating, answering all my million questions and for the best service! Will deffo be visiting again, next time on one of the DJ nights!

I visited masala and coal recently for my friend’s birthday party. I reached around 2245. The kitchen closes at 2230 so didn’t eat anything. The bar was open till late. I enjoyed my brief time till 0130 in the morning. I must say the DJ was very good. He played very few Punjabi songs and we had to request if we wanted anymore. In general it was a nice pub come restaurant to enjoy with my friends. The staff were amazing and the crowd was decent.

Nice place to meet with friends & family. Ordered food and drinks for six people and the final bill was £450 so at £75 per head I think this place is a little expensive but I guess with the current cost of living it's to be expected. Food was ok but the atmosphere was great and the service we received was good. They had a DJ playing till late so a good night was had by all.

We were kindly invited to review a 3-course meal at the newly opened @masalacoal. And all we can say is that from the service to the food everything was absolutely banging.🔥 Going out for dinner with kids is always stressful but @masalacoal go the extra mile to make you and your family very welcome.👩‍👩‍👦‍👦 Special thanks to the lovely Alexandra for the delicious cocktails and keeping our kids happy with the fruitshoot. What we had: 💥Bombay bad boy wings 💥Chacha‘s Signature wings (our favourite) 💥Crispy Coconut Prawns 🍸Lychee Breeze 🍹Delhi Dreams 💥Butter Chicken 💥Tandoori Salmon 🍨Milk cake 🍮Chai Panna Cotta (must try) Overall we loved all the food, which was very authentic and fresh. Our favourite were the wings. 🐓 Especially the Chacha‘s signature wings were absolutely delicious (we were fighting over these😅), the meat just fell from the bone🤌. My kids loved the soft & fresh naan breads as well as the butter chicken.🍗 Now the SHOWSTOPPER were the cocktails, I loved the ‘Lychee Breeze’ and my husband loved the ‘Delhi Dreams’ which was a twisted Pina colada.🍹 Definitely the perfect place for a night-out, so give them a follow @masalacoal and check them out. P.S.: They have DJ-nights on Saturdays as well as plenty of parking available too.

The place looks amazing from inside. The food tasted great and so authentic. We had a party of 25 people and everyone went happy and well fed. The dj night on Saturday was a whole new vibe. After the party, we danced and drank until 2am. Thankyou Masala and Coal for making my birthday so special. I will definitely be returning back. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Lovely place with a fantastic ambience and a cosy atmosphere. Food is good, but the mocktails and desserts are a must. Customer service is brilliant and a special mention for Rajan for looking after us. She was very polite and helpful. Defo go again.

Exceptional experience at The Arth @ Ruislip!!! The food was absolutely delicious, bursting with authentic flavors that transported me back to India. The ambience was charming, creating the perfect atmosphere for a delightful meal. Additionally, the spacious carpark made parking hassle-free. The service from the waiters was impeccable; they were attentive and friendly, ensuring a memorable dining experience. The live Bollywood entertainment, including the DJ singing, added an extra layer of enjoyment to the evening. Highly recommend this gem for anyone craving exquisite Indian cuisine and a fantastic dining experience!"

One of the very restaurants in London that could boast of being truly authentic to the taste for Indian cuisine. We were greeted very nicely and paid attention all through. Would highly recommend Ghevar(seasonal dish).. one of the rare places which do it in London.

We came in without a reservation and Drashti one of the lively waitresses seated us with no problem. She spoke us through the delicious menu and its origins and we dined on such delectable food. The lamb chops, I would 100% recommend, we had 2 plates! The Dahi Bhalla was so tasty and the Pani Puri was too good to leave any to waste. I can't wait to come back here again. Thank you Chef and Thank you to all the staff for such a great dining experience.

We booked to go to a curry house and something made me rethink the booking, and came across this spot. The food 10/10 Service is 10/10 Food Wait time 10/10 quick service Very nice vibe, and seemed to be getting busier but as I was driving and wanted to drink we ate and left. 100% will be back and not driving so we can have a full evening experience, compliments to the chef.

I have been to Masala & Coal about 6/7 times and I swear every time I go it just gets better and better! I loved the BBQ cauliflower bites which I had never had before - lovely addition to their vegetarian dishes! The cocktails were brilliant! It was just ashame they didn’t have the passion fruit cheesecake I wanted to try! Everything else was 10/10 and service was brilliant as usual! The atmosphere was lovely and I got lots of instagrammable pictures !! The pictures below are some of the dishes we ordered. Paneer burger will always be my favourite….

Went to this place in the middle of week and tried veg starter platter, from indo chinese menu chicken lollipop.. Both dishes very tasty, really good quality, good quantity and aromatic. There are very few restaurants that I have liked the indo chinese menu and this one is one of them. From the drinks menu we tries Aperol spritz, delhi belly, mumbai margarita- loveddddd all the drinks so that’s a must try!!! In the veg platter - we tried corn spinach nuggets, dahi kebabs, Tandoori paneer and Soya chaap. Also special appreciation for servers- very nice and humble staff who give good suggestions and definitely know their menu.

The dice is beautiful. Presents a wonderful atmosphere, have a lively room to accommodate large groups and has nicely spaced tables to accommodate different party sizes. The menu is nice and offers a change to the usual Indian restaurants. Well worth the money. Live music and dj on certain days an added bonus!

We heard about this restaurant on instagram and thought of visiting it on our trip to London. The ambience was great and service was amazing. I was pleased to see a kids menu as most Indian restaurants don’t accommodate that. The kids were really happy with their meal. The quality of the food and cocktails was great from starters to mains. To end the meal, we were served with a really tasty ghewar dessert. Had a great experience and would definitely visit this place again whenever we visit London 😊

Went to The arth today with our 4 month old baby. Firstly they were very accommodating gave us a table where we could put the pram. The food was very fresh and tasty we order the momos, ghee lamb curry and dahi puri, Nutella brownie and masala chai. The service was impeccable. We cannot thank Joy enough for entertaining our baby whilst we ate and generally being so kind. We will definately be returning soon. Thank you for making our evening enjoyable and memorable.

A+++....We had a really great experience at the restaurant. We were a group of 30 including kids, and Joy - the manager was really thoughtful and considerate of our choices, he went an extra mile and ensured all our requestes were catered, such as less 'spicy food' for kids, etc. and also gave us complimentary drinks 🍸 We went for the Set Menu which was served in a Buffet style perfect for our large group! The quality and quantity of food was outstanding & we definitely recommend it!! We can't wait to be back again. Thanks for making it a memorable visit for us!

I’d heard about The Arth on Instagram and when passing by we thought to pop in for a quick bite. Despite not booking the Owners kindly accommodated us. Service was attentive and with a smile, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Would recommend the dahi kebab, soya chaap, cheese and burnt garlic veg momos and dahi sev puri in particular!

Me and my partner came to this restaurant today for lunch. The ambiance was beautiful, we ordered three starters Chicken Lollipop, Hakka Noodles and Chilli Chicken. These dishes were beyond amazing. As a girl who loves spicy and Indian flavours. Masala & Coal did their best to provide that. The staff were also very friendly. 10/10 recommend!

Went with family for a Diwali party. The organisers had booked the entire restaurant for the evening. Good venue, comfortable seating. Very limited parking at the premises but plenty of street parking just opposite. Excellent starters, okay mains. Very good service - buffet was constantly replenished, and the gents behind the bar did very well to keep up with the constant demand for drinks.

Delicious food, generous portion sizes, the service was IMPECCABLE - they were so kind and attentive. The friendly staff let us enjoy our evening and not rush us out. The DJ was phenomenal. Wonderful atmosphere. We'll definitely be returning.

Starters were beyond expectations. All the meat of good quality and seasoned, spiced and cooked with great care. Mains were slightly let down by their saag which had an odd consistency, it was almost like a liquid.. never had saag like that before. Service was very very good. Just sort your saag out lol

The place is really amazing. The food was absolutely delicious. A bit too spicy for my partner's taste, but I loved it. The staff was very nice and open, and gave us a lot of tips about the food and the portions. Furthermore the prices were lower than we expected. I definitely recommend the place if you like vegan friendly indian food. Will definitely repeat the experience.
