We did cocktail making which was good fun!!!! But prices are way too high, it was very cold next to windows in the corner. We had like a mini buffet, when I saw the beef I was so happy. Until I tried it as it wasnt cooked properly. It was hard and chewy. Mini burger was cold. Chips undercooked. Shame...

Better than the Revolution bars I've been to in other places. This one is at least a bit respectable and has not bad decor.

I've visited here both in the day time and in the evening. During the day time it's quiter and the food is of a good standard. Some of the menu items are infused with vodka which is quirky and enjoyable. During the evening at weekends it's particularly busy. They do a vast range of different vodkas and spirits. Their cocktails are priced between £8 and £10 and are very nice. The music played is usually a good mix of old school classics and more modern dance music. One of the more desirable places on Broad street...

Had a great time here with twelve members of my team, and friends. We booked the cocktail making masterclass, with three course platinum meal, one standard drinks voucher each and one premium drinks voucher each. In the booking stage we were sent, via email, a three course set menu to choose from (starter, main and dessert). You have to list the names of your party members on a form they send you but after that you just have to tick the boxes to select the course choices for each person. The night started with us being shown to our reserved booth which was spacious. Then we were lead to our own section of the bar, where slush puppy like cocktails were waiting for us. The mixologist then started her expert hosting which just made the whole experience even better. We took part in several games both against each other as individuals and two person teams. The games are great for bonding and we're a lot of fun. You also get to drink the cocktails you make. The winners of each game also get a pleasant alcohol shot whilst the losers get a chilli alcohol shot, which I found quite interesting. I think we played about 6 games in total but I lost count after a while and it became one giant coyote ugly like scene, it was truly a great experience. At the end, without prompting the mixologist invited us all behind the bar, so she could take photos of us as a whole group using our own phones, great service. We were then taken back to our reserved booth and after a short while of laughing, talking and photo taking our food was then served. The time left between each course was adequate. Starters included a choice of chicken skewers/hummus with flat bread and veg/calamari. Mains included choice of burgers, steak, choice of pizzas it also included vegetarian options. Dessert was a choice of either baked cheesecake with cream or warm brownie with vanilla ice-cream. I had the brownie and ice-cream and wouldn't mind some more right now as I am writing this review. The drinks vouchers were enjoyed by all, using it on drinks such as a quacktail, long island ice tea and many other wonderfully named concoctions. One included a bag of rainbow drops pegged to the side of the glass. This is an experience I would definitely book again.

Visited on a Friday with a few friends and although the atmosphere by the bar was good it was disappointing that the first two beers ordered had run out and the third choice was served completely flat. I think it's fair to say that spirits should be your preference if you're visiting this bar. On a final note, the gents toilets were not a pleasant place to visit and this was at the start of the evening.

Wow was quiet but staff very friendly, had a groupon so thought why not. Cajun chicken burger was nice, with a fresh house salad. Couldn't use hot sauce they had the siracha one on table which I've never liked next time I'll bring the one I keep in the car for emergencies such as these. Definitely worth a visit I been here twice now I rarely get past my first visit when I eat out so good job

9 of us from work did the cocktail masterclass with food as a Christmas outing, competitive streaks emerged and a great afternoon was had. A great team experience that definitely left inhibitions and team dynamics behind once the event started... who knew I could down do many cocktails and shots..... all in the name of winning!!! Great food once we had all finished fighting for first place.... I initially thought that £40 was over the top, but in hindsight, the amount of shots in the glasses through the various games, coupled with the food afterwards makes it a sensible price and highly recommended!

Went yesterday afternoon with a hen party for a cocktail making session, what a wonderful happy experience was had by all. Jess was great, explaining what we were going to do, getting us all to join in and all having a great laugh, there's more to cocktail mixing that we thought. I fear that you wouldn't employ many of us as some didn't appear to have listened to instructions, others a bit slow and some of us more enthusiastic than accurate with our measurements. Would recommend it to any group.
