On the hottest day of the year, today @ 32 degrees, bouncer did not let us in. Apparently their dress code states no shorts. Even though my friends were wearing smart chino style shorts, that clearly didn't make the cut for such a prestigious pub. Love spoons, hate the jobs worth bouncers.

Good cold lager. Professional service. Really comfortable seats on first floor. Interior here has been well designed. You have another bar located on a huge balcony with nice view on downstairs part of the pub

Dropped in for breakfast. Ordered via the QR code. Food served quickly, all hot and clearly fresh. My only disappointment was that the poached eggs and mushrooms were overcooked. Despite this, all tasted good. Spent £15 for 2 breakfasts with unlimited hot drinks. Found all staff to be friendly. The food isn't amazing quality, but I feel the price reflects this. Perfect for a quick, relatively cheap bite to eat. Will definitely return 🙃

I've been in a lot of wetherspoons and this is the worst 😫 breakfast I've had the drinks we had the night before spot on and good service. Must have been because it was Sunday morning and nobody wanted to be there shame.

Waited in the hallway to be told there's a queue outside, no sign though. An interesting JDW with plenty of rooms. I enjoyed a Nottingham Supreme for £2.25. The beer was okay, but not one I'd rush back to. A small outdoor space at the front and larger one at the back. Not a bad Spoons

Great service and kind staff; Was able to find a seat, and order food and drink which arrived quite quickly for a very reasonable price. The drinks were cold and fresh whilst the food was steaming and tasted great, a variety of items and deals are a great selling point for either, a night out or a casual/social lunch with friends or loved ones.

Service was shocking, food was either burnt or bland and the atmosphere is pretty dead. Easily the worst weather spoons I've ever been too

I come here quite often just for a few beers. It’s never too busy and usually has a good atmosphere, never ordered food here so I don’t know what it’s like, but I’ve had some chips from a friend and they tasted okay. Would recommend if you just want a pint and nothing else 3/5

Visited twice. Once Sunday night, and then for a lovely cooked vegan friendly breakfast. Busy Sunday night, the bar team wasn't very aware of who was next at the bar, leaving me waiting a while to be served while others jumped in, and my drink had to be repoured as the lemonade syrup had gone. But once I got their attention and they helped me, they were really friendly and kind. My partner went to the bar to order breakfast, so I didn't have any interaction with the bar team Monday morning, but the food was delicious and absolutely incredible value for money. Love their vegan cooked breakfasts. I do get extra mushrooms, tomatoes, and a hashbrown as it's not quite big enough for a treat day breakfast. But amazing value all the same. Toilets are downstairs, by the way, for anyone visiting. I asked a possible regular where they were, and he was super friendly, pointing me in the right direction.

Not allowed in at 2330 on a Saturday with a small bag (handbag sized) while other people with bigger bags allowed in in front and behind me.

Friendly, no frills, cheap and cheerful as you'd expect. Great local cask range too.

Me and my friend had an amazing experience drinking at this bar, heavily contributed to by the music that is a rarity for Wetherspoon's! There is a large counter with glasses hanging over, from which I ordered a quality drink that I enjoyed at a mirror-side table. The table was clean and the pub in general was a pleasant area, displaying artwork on the wall.

We came to Wetherspoon to have a nice meal and chill time together. It was a bit busy with students as the Pub is in the city centre but it wasn't as loud as I thought it would be. Lovely pub with some beautiful history behind. Drinks were lovely and we didn't have to wait too long. When it comes to food it is a bit different story. I mean overal was nice but not the best. We ordered ourselves 8inch pizza which was perfect. 1st Meal: Double chicken burger with fries, but unfortunately chicken was slightly overcooked and hard. It wasn't as warm as it should be. 2nd Meal: Fish and Chips and again it wasn't as we expected. It was on cold side and the fish was overcooked and hard. It wasn't very hot. Next time when I come I will give another chance as it might be one of those bad days but today's we had bad experience and pretty unhappy.

First time of me going to this branch. As always, l always order my mixed grill dinner meal that comes with a drink. Always enjoy 😊

Best thing to do in Loughborough

Quick service, plenty of space and the food was good. Priced well as expected for a Wetherspoons. Unfortunately, quite a bit seemed out of stock when we were ordering, although still enough to choose from.

Food is very reasonably priced and decent quality too I will say however I could have done with a few more chips. (A bit stingy there) Overall however, speed of service was good with excellent customer service skills and all available to order through their own app Food arrived hot and tasty, drink was served very quickly Overall a five star rating which is something of a rarity nowadays Well done to all at wetherspoons Lloyds No1 bar Nottingham I'll be back for Sure

Really enjoyed my visit. After watching the pride parade we popped in for some food and drink. Food arrived piping hot and fresh. My aunt enjoyed her pint while I had a delicious mocha. Disabled toilets were mostly clean, but because they were open drunks would use it and miss the bowl. The staff were friendly and helpful and enjoyed celebrating pride with their customers, all in all I can ignore the loo issue since everything else was perfect. Thank you to the staff for making our visit great.

Only giving 2 stars as bar staff were understanding and helpful. Soup took forever to come and then arrived on the cold side of warm. The staff did offer to replace but then it’s not nice when one is eating while the other just sits and waits! Then our Nachos had unmelted cheese on and again was served with no warmth in what melted cheese there was. Partners main meal he enjoyed and was hot! Not my day.. didn’t finish food as negative aspects took enjoyment out of lunch.

This Weatherspoons is massive. So many places to sit and very lively on a Saturday night. One of the best weatherspoons I've been to. The food came out fast, was warm and filling. The lady who served us was so attentive. They have some good vegan options.

I was visiting Nottingham for work purposes, staying overnight etc and stopped here for an evening meal on a weekday. The building has character, and although busy the staff were quickly working through orders at the bar efficiently enough. I ordered the gammon, egg, chips dish with the gammon tasty not too fatty, but the egg was fairly greasy, overcooked and wrinkled up without a runny yoke. Asking for ketchup I was told they'd run out and wouldn't be getting any more during my time there. Clearly a poor situation, given the manager/staff could've gone to the nearby supermarket to buy a few bottles, so pretty disappointing "customer service" on this aspect given it's ketchup! The price and portions were reasonable, and the food arrived pretty quickly and the staff were friendly enough.

Usually very busy on a weekend evening, but does get a bit emptier later on in the night, we arrived at 7 and it was already calmer by 8pm. The service was quick, the ambience really enjoyable.

Why would you want a McDonald's for £5.90 when you can have this instead and sit in comfort for £6.44? I always find a Wetherspoons on my Travels if waiting for a train and I'm never disappointed.

Ordered sirloin steak rare and it turned up freezing cold and blue. Asked for a new one and they returned the same one to me but looks like it had been microwaved. Clearly the chef had one too beers for breakfast. Disgusting

It's the spoons with the most atmosphere in Nottingham. Sometimes you have a little wait to be served but not too much. Can get busy Friday and Saturday nights, Staff pleasant food as good as any other spoons.

As to be said that my wife and I had what can only be described as our worst Weatherspoons breakfast. To say I've had warmer salads would be an understatement. Rubber eggs tougher than Wellingtons. Bacon, that was so hard, must be the same stuff you get with the American Pancake's. Cold toast but warm butter had to pour it onto 2 slices and ask for more. The sausages were the only redeeming feature.

Burgers were really good. I had to remind staff after I purchased that it was 2 for 1 but no big deal and refunded difference quickly with no probs. Atmosphere only rated 3 because it was a random Monday afternoon and really quiet. Staff were nice and friendly.

Didn’t eat here, only drinks. And didn’t have all that was advertised. It was busy with people enjoying themselves and who had far too much alcohol 🤦‍♀️ but in my opinion this place needs a refurb. The chairs and tables were worn out; upholstered armchairs are thick with grime. Such a shame as staff try hard.

Been coming here for years but last night the door security guard wouldn't let my friend in because his shirt had a tiny print on the top right saying 'Nike'. Are you kidding? We weren't the only ones apparently that night to get turned away for this same reason. Weatherspoons turning people away with a fake dress code that doesn't exist according the website, what a joke. Won't be coming back and will defferently spread the word around not to bother with this place.

It's not the worst in town but it would definitely benefit from better cleaning .

Excellent food shame about the ditzy waitress !! First spilt drink over us, then couldn't even refill and reset the drinks machine properly, then nearly knocked both my partner and I over on the stairs not impressed! Otherwise a very nice place with lots of character and different areas to sit

I went here for breakfast on Saturday and food and staff were amazing. Came here for lunch today and the two male staff serving today were professional and friendly. However, a female member of staff was rushing around bumping into people and almost knocked them over. When she served the drinks she banged the drinks on the table and spilt my Kopparsberg over us and the table. The manager was kind enough to bring another half a pint as a good will gesture. This was the only reason I gave this a 4 out 5 stars. The food was tasty and portion sizes were great. They followed covid19 guidelines.

Absolutally wonderful atmosphere. Top prices, on food and drink. The friendliest staff I have met in a long time. The manager is a real gem.

Nice pub in Nottingham, obviously part of the Wetherspoons chain So you know what you're getting before you get in! The interior like alot of Wetherspoon buildings is nicely put together in an old building! More interesting than most though, as its layout is different everywhere you look, theres more than one room for seating, an upstairs and an outside area. Overall Recommended!

Not very good. Disappointing. The dining area covers 2 very large floors. Scruffy when arriving. Sticky tables. A few well oiled old local fellas. I was at the bar waiting to be served and an old bloke pushed in front of me with a half drunk glass of beer and announced he wanted some more to the bar staff. We ordered a panini and chips and burger and chips which came fairly quickly but were dried out and tired. Toilets situated in the basement were filthy. Generally not a good visit.

Good food at a reasonable price, ordered using the app and arrived within 10 minutes, hot. The bar is clean and quiet & less crowded (more space between tables) than most wetherspoons pubs. Well worth a visit.

Quick service. Professional and friendly stuff in there. Very tasty pizzas and food at all. Really fire baked pizza, with good size btw, and you know what you paid for. Recommended!

Cannot beat it anywhere for beer prices. Food ok always have Southern Fried chicken wrap with salad.
