Came with a friend on two separate occasions. Went with a butter chicken served hot on a recommendation and can honestly say one of the best curries I’ve ever had. Lovely local family-ran pub/curry house which is an absolute gem in Aylestone.

Lovely friendly owner and staff are really accommodating to my family, and the food is incredible! My sister, of which dislikes many Indian food styles loved the food here and it tastes as good as it smells. We’re locals and walk past many times debating going in because it smells beautiful but I can assure you we will be coming back!

I've lived in Leicester since the early 1990s and have been to pretty much every single restaurant and ordered from most takeaways, I am obsessed with the food and cook it at home too. Prince of Punjab's food is at the very top in Leicester. I have paid Β£80 per head in a posh restaurant (for work) and the food has been no where near as good. Highly, highly recommend - amazing, amazing home cooked food!

Hands down the best lamb I ever had. Proper Punjab. It's still just a local pub though, so will hear pool balls and loud conversation. Could do with bit of refurbishment. Highly recommended for it's food!

Absolutely the best and most authentic Indian food you’ll find in UK. Been coming here for years and never had an issue. Family owned place so you’ll definitely get the best treatment at every visit. Words and pictures don’t do justice. You have to come and try it yourself.

Food is as homemade as you can get! We had the prince of punjab sizzler. Banging food. Good for 2 people!

Phone number not working, opening hours unknown, got there and it was closed. Easy job to correct the opening hours online on TA, Google and your own website and social media. Disappointed!

We planned to eat here because the reviews were so good but sadly it was closed during the hours it should have been open according to the website. So an advance phone call is essential.
