Ambiance is so cool and warm. Staff are helpful and polite. Food is awesome especially the mix grill. Well- flavored meat. Just a bit off with pork spare ribs. Meat is a bit hard. But nonetheless everything is very good especially the prices.

Visited on a lunchtime for the first time in many years and the food has definitely improved in that time. This place used to have a reputation amongst my desi mates as being a little bland, but that's definitely not the case now. Some of the items really packed a spicy kick, just how I like it! Service was friendly enough. Just found it odd that you can't order a large mixed grill before 4pm, even though all the parts of it are being made and served from 12pm. That's hopefully just teething problems as they've only really started a proper mixed grill menu this week. I did notice their main restaurant area was closed & they were only serving in the pub room, so for a better experience, it's maybe best to visit in the evening. Opted for a boneless mixi with a separate order of fish pakoreh. There is a decent beer selection to wash it down with. I will say it is probably the priciest place of this nature that I've seen in West Brom so far, and while the food was decent, it wasn't as good as some other nearby places. Giving it a 4, but it's more like a 3.7 for me.

Amazing BBQ Grill pub! Food is amazing drinks are cheap can’t beat it!! The BBQ is proper coal not electric and that’s what makes a difference to all the other grill places out there. They do fresh Naan breads and curry’s you have a lot of choices.

It's a Tardis. It looks tiny from the outside but is absolutely huge inside. What a unique pub. The menu is predominantly Indian (curries etc.) Everyone seems to order the chicken tikka, we did and it lived up to expectations. See pic. Everything about our visit was perfect. Can't wait to be back!

This is a massive place with copious seating indoors, in a large conservatory area and a few tables outside - though this is more of a smoking area so not great if you want to enjoy a meal in the sun without cigarette smoke. Everything is clean and well maintained and the service is extremely efficient. The food is really tasty and you can watch the chefs at work through an acrylic screen. A pet hate of mine is plates being cleared from the table before all parties have finished eating. It puts pressure on the diners who haven't finished, to finish. We only ordered one course - ok, 3 dishes, but they all came together. There were only 2 of us eating. We were asked 4 times if we'd finished with any plates and each time, articles were removed from the table. I understand that the place gets really busy on football match days (I've never encountered this myself, but have been told so) and so they need to speed covers through to increase the throughput of the restaurant, but they must have been running at about 10-15% capacity when we visited so this was not necessary and made me feel very pressured. For this reason, and the smoky outdoor area, I've docked them a star. The food however is genuinely lovely.

I really fancied a mixed grill, so I went to try out the Vine. Atmosphere was great decor was beautiful at the back. Looks like it's getting renovated I ordered the food at the bar, starters mains, Then drinks separately, when we came back to the table our food came out straight away. It was luke warm, no sizzle, or onions meat was on the plate. Thought it would have been a hot plate. My recommendation is to order starters first, then go back to bar to order mains. It's OK for standard food grub, Wouldn't go again. Grill meats were dry. Pictures attached and a video. Thank you.

Not been hehe for a few years and there has been a refurbishment. You can order at the table using the webpage, or just head to the bar. Food fantastic as always.

I remember we visited back in 2006. I ate the famous pork steaks. Delicious. This time I ate the fish pakora and chilli chips. Excellent! The restaurant has expanded and is now a big operation, beautifully presented with a good view of the chef in action! A polite man who acknowledged our thanks as we left. Check it out, you will not be disappointed.

Food was actually very good and tasted authentic despite the place looking a bit like a family diner/hungry horse once you get inside to rear of place.

I have eaten at The Vine on and off over many years but this is the first time I found one particular staff member rude and the food I ordered to be spicy. Drink- I prefer to drink pepsi max and as I saw there were can in the fridge I thought I would have one instead of having pepsi or diet pepsi on draught. I was told that I was not allowed to have a can of pepsi max as they were for when the pump were broken, not allowed to sell them( let stock go to waste???). The person then walked away and spoke to some one around the corner them came back to me. I thought that she would give me the can of pepsi max but No- she opened it up and poured it into a pint glass and said £3.80 i given you a can and a half then said" I did explain". I was not going to spoil lunch out with work colleagues by replying back to this young lady- i paid, said thank you and sat down. I returned to the bar to order my food of chicken tikka and a portion of chips £8.25- unfortunately the chicken tikka was spicy which is not how I like it. It was nice to have lunch with work colleagues - the Black Country and the wider West Midlands is a wash with Indian mix grill pubs.

Wow what and amazing pub/ restaurant this is. Was staying at the nearby Mercure hotel so went to the vine with some work colleagues. The food was outstanding! Can seriously recommend the goat curry. Don’t worry about starters as the portions are generous. Will definitely be back

First time visiting and it will not be the last. Found a table easy and it was very busy too and I now know why! Food is out of this world fresh hot and tasty. Cannot fault the place. I was recommended to try the vine by my friend who has been loads of times in fact they are regulars. Staff are so friendly and are happy to help with anything nothing is too much trouble. Found somewhere to park even though as I said it was super busy We will be back

I enjoyed my dining experience, however I was highly disappointed that I was unable to change my newborn baby in this facility. The dining areas are currently under renovation, maybe this could stretch to the toilets so a changing table could be installed? I had to change my newborn in the boot of my car on the carpark which unfortunately ruined my evening.

Very disappointed £16.99 for a boneless mix grill that didn’t include the full chicken options as advertised on there menu but substituted with lamb kebab but didnt know this until we got home as ordered a collection won’t be ordering again as not enough to feed two people!!! To also be charged more for the brown mint sauce on a lunch time compared to an evening is absolutely ridiculous!

I haven't eaten here in a while but when I did, the food was delicious and plenty of it. I came for a few drinks and since my last visit, they have had an upgrade, new seating etc. It's a lovely little pub, nice relaxed atmosphere. I shall definitely return and may even have a curry next time

Had a quick bite. Usual options. Great taste, food could have been warmer, so cooled before finishing. Not pleasant.

Cracking pub/restaurant and very welcoming to away fans visiting West Bromwich. Plenty of tables and space for people. Door staff are friendly and reasonable with away fans (colours allowed, just no daft chants), locals are friendly too. Bar is quite small, but well staffed. Serving a reasonable section of alcohol. Queues for the bar are quite long, but go down fairly quickly. Didn't get food, but it look and smelled very, very good, and the prices were fair. Hope to visit again soon.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The curry’s came out very fast like in 5mins. I enjoyed my curry but I was not to keen on the grill I found it a bit bland but others in my group enjoyed it.

Great curries and grills. Reasonable prices and good fast service. Menu is not bad but would help if veg options came in side portions too. Good choice of different rooms to sit in to eat. Small pub rooms, conservatory, grill room with tvs and covered outdoor area.

Foods tasty and there is a good selection and a good selection of beers. Staff are helpful and polite. Reasonably priced won't disappoint

Food was fairly tasty. Typical of most mixed grill pubs but a few issues. Firstly had to ask for plates for the pappadums. Mixed grill £10.95 was smallest I've ever had and served on a paper plate. Usually struggle to eat one. Glass of pop £3.70 is ridiculous and it's hard to park. Could be good but for those issues.

Decent pub with good food and allows away fans on a match day. In good walking distance of the Hawthorns. Blue moon beer served with an orange in it. Only downside were the toilets which weren't really adequate and no loo rolls.
