It were overall a good experience. Told on arrival food could be upto one hour. Luckily it was not that long. Food was hot and tasty. Chips were great. Portions on the small size especially the carrots 4 slices. Thought vegetables were cheap to buy. We called on a Sunday so menu was I thought very limited. I was told so they could concentrate on the Sunday roasts.im sure I've been before and had more choice. Sadly only had chocolate or strawberry ice cream so again limited the desert menu. I'm sure in the past it was 2 for 1 sadly not today. Still overall we enjoyed it.

Great service today. Managed to fit us in last minute with no issues. They have a great kids menu which am sure my Daughter will happily want to sample all items. We went for the butcher boy pizza forbher and she loved it. Burgers was top notch 👌 😋 Thanks

What a turn around 👍2 years ago said I would never go back 🤔 but we did and everything was spot on, well done to everyone especially those we don't see in the background, the service was brilliant, you knew what to do where to go and get your food or just drinks. The food was hot nothing like the last time and we had a lovely time, so thank you very for a lovely lunch and will be returning soon. WELL DONE EVERYONE 😊

Gave it a 4 only because we didn't eat there. Service was good though for the drinks and the food did smell beautiful. Toilets were clean, outdoor furniture needs a jet spray but still nice areas next to the canal. I'll definitely give it another go and sample the food next time.

Pleasant surroundings but, other than that, I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again. Food is adequate if a little sparsely garnished but tasty enough. Sundaes were served in a pudding bowl which gave a certain 'school dinners' feel to the meal. Still, the prices are reasonable.

Could not believe the efforts of the staff last night, whilst this 50 % benefits the customer just look at the work rate it puts in to the staff, last night we were greeted after booking for 19.30pm to be told food would be an hour well I've got to admit we had left the venue at 20.30pm after having starters main and drinks. Gotta say the Estrella is amazing well done to all of you a credit to the pub.

I go with my wife to this great restaurant often! This is my favorite restaurant to to have a good dinner. I visit this place frequently. The food is very good, the crew is welcoming and the cost is fair. I enjoy being in this restaurant over a nice meal.

This place knows how to satisfy their customers. Constantly with a welcoming demeanor. The food is conveniently priced, always delicious and neat.

Booked 4 person table on Saturday. Drinks and food came quickly (menu photos attached). Food tasted nice. We had a brownie, 2 apple pies, and a rocky road sundae for dessert, which were all very nice.(Everything is walk up to the bar and ordering, then paying for it) overall, it was a good experience. (Even if we did walk home in the snow!)

Main courses were fine, nothing special but the price reflected that. Desserts were very good. Food took a little longer to arrive than expected given how quiet it was for a Friday evening, but not too bad, and the staff were friendly. Overall we'd say it was good rather than great.

Celebrated a family birthday so large party. We asked for a table move - no problem. One meal unavailable but went out of their way to put similar together - no problem. Food was excellent no delays served fresh and hot. Excellent and pleasant service. Couldn't fault at all. 1st time visit for most of us but will definitely be returning and location was excellent choice and beautiful

My grandson and I were greeted as we came in and allowed to choose our preferred table. Service was very good. The food was absolutely gorgeous. I ordered a prawn salad, which was huge, so fresh and crisp too! A lovely evening. Thank you!

Bent over backwards to accommodate us, even serving deserts half hour after last orders. Courteous friendly and helpful we were served by Dale, Oscar and chef Alex who cooked our steaks perfectly , definitely good choice on Thursday's "steak + drink deal night" thank you

It was easy to find and the online booking was easy. The staff was nice upon entry. The food was not what we thought it'd be. I ordered a surf and turf, medium done steak and it was more on the rare side. My husband got gammon with egg and pineapple, the egg was very snotty and undercooked and so was the gammon and there was more fat than actual meat. Our son had the classic chicken burger and said it tasted okay but the batter was a bit too hard that he thought he might beak a tooth. So in summary, the staff is nice, the food could use some work and the website is easy to navigate.

Young lady behind the bar was really lovely as soon as we entered. Service was quick and food was lovely! There was a mistake made with my partners burger which was quickly rectified, and then we stayed until about 8pm having drinks, enjoying the atmosphere. Was overall a really nice night, would visit again for definite!

Lovely food and great prices. I had the chicken and bacon sandwich...absolutely delicious and very filling. Great prices. It is in a lovely position too, right next to the canal where I walked off the Chocolate Fudge Cake that I'd had for dessert!

Utterly shocking service, we had a table of 7 booked in for my dads 60th birthday. We got instructed that “there is no food available” at 6 PM on a Sunday. The manager had told us she sent the cooks home because “the Manchester untitled was playing” then refused to give her name out of shear embarrassment after she realised we actually had a booking. After this we sat near the door and could hear “F*cking pizzas I want to go home” After this (why we stayed is beyond me) we got the starters with multiple hairs Upton them. Clearly from the chef/manager. The entire management team needs removing, I can’t explain how appalling the service was and would never eat here ever again under the current management.

A big thank you to all the staff at the Kingfisher Greenfield for Christmas Day Dinner. From being greeted at the door to finishing our meals, the staff were brilliant. The food was excellent too. Menu was superb and cooked to perfection. Big round of applause to all the staff for giving up their Christmas Day to make ours a happy, memorable one. We'll be back next Christmas along with a few of our usual visits throughout the year. Keep up the good work

Very warm and friendly staff, Burgers very nice, but fries a little dry. Nacho sharer nice but should have plain Tortilla chips not 'Doritos' in the recipe, as the other ingredients are already strongly flavoured and the tortilla chips provide a pleasant contrast. But a great place and will definitely visit again :-))

Absolutely lovely staff. Very friendly but more so the best cooked steak ever. Alan cooked mine today. Last time it was Danyel. Absolutely Unbelievable steak. Cooked to perfection each time I visit. Hat off to all the staff. Great experience each time. 10 out of 10 for value and quality ever time I visit.

Food, staff, service all spot on. Only snag is you have to pay for parking which is fine but then can't claim it back off your meal unless you pay cash. Not that many people have cash on the these days, so thst could put people off visiting

My husband and I called in here after an eight mile walk and were met with really lovely friendly staff 😊. We ordered our food and drinks and did not have to wait too long at all for it. It was lovely 🤩. Very reasonably priced and excellent value for money. The drinks were not expensive and the staff were lovely 🌹. An overall great experience for us. It didn't affect us because we're walkers, but beware that there's a pay and display carpark.

The staff were very friendly and helpful,they pre warned us that because of a large party of 26 people were already there service would be a little longer than usual. There wasn't much of a wait and all 10 of us highly rated the quality of the food,very good for value and we will definitely be coming back

A regular haunt for me and a pal to go to for a mid week catch-up over a couple of beers. Arrived tonight at 21:30 to be asked if we'd paid for our parking. New parking scheme in place where you have to predict the number of hours you're going to stay, fanny about with a machine outside then bring in your ticket when you've paid for it and have it deducted from your bar bill! Free essentially but I just want to have a quick beer without the mither. Then the young trendy bar supervisor comes to our table giving it the old pals act at 21:55 when we've each got a pint and a half left and says, "So we shut in 5, guys. Do you want plastic glasses so you can finish your drinks outside?" Before giving us several 300ml plastic cups to decant our VERY expensive beer into and ushering us to the door. I know how many hours I'll need on the car park on my next visit: Zero, because I'll be elsewhere. 👍 Can't see this place lasting with the current regime. Won't be returning.

Booked a table for 9 people and 4 dogs very, very last minute. Not only did they accommodate us but they went out of their way to make us comfortable. Right down to leaving 4 doggy bowls of water and treats behind the table for us. Food was fantastic, brilliant value and the service was top notch. Lovely staff and management. Can’t wait to come back, highly recommend to everyone to visit this gem! xx

Came here after walking down the canal, it was a lovely atmosphere especially sitting in the beer garden with drinks and food. The 8oz sirloin steak was cooked to perfection and was a 10/10 in my eyes. I cannot recommend this place enough for a good meal.

We had a meal in the kingfisher a couple of weeks ago and we WILL be rushing back to go again! We booked a table and in the note added there would be a few dogs, and a baby. They sectioned off an entire area for us and there was treats and water for the dogs ready and waiting. They catered to us all, human and fluff like royalty. The staff were friendly, funny, upbeat and on top form in their proficency. When the toddler got bored, they gave him bird feed for the birds outside and he was thrilled. Not to mention that the food was fab, affordable, and served fairly quickly. It felt like a proper pub. We will see you again soon, five stars in every aspect.

We waited an hour and a half for our food - we're in lockdown, it's understandable. However, our order was given to another table who had only recently arrived. Staff were amused. When we finally got our food, it was not brilliant, just fairly average and not worth going back for a revisit.

Popped in on Sunday to shelter from rain. Helpful staff. Made to feel welcome from the staff. Appropriate safety measures in place.

Its OK, my food was nice I had the burger with pulled pork and chips however my friend ordered Ranch chicken and was disappointed it was just the chicken and a load of chips no veg or salad. Having said that the salad we had with the starter tasted of plastic clearly not as fresh as it might have been. Won't hurry back - sorry.

Sat outside and the cask beer was ok, Pedigree or Wainwright.

Certain doors for entry and exit, no-one policing this. People going in through the out door. Hygiene seemed good, efficient lady cleaning , even door handles. Shame the public can't read.

We ordered a roast dinner and we thought it was average. Roast potatoes chewy and hard wasn’t very filling in all

Table booked to see family. Ordering was straight forward, wasn’t impressed by a girl taking our order who needed to change something / let kitchen know by calling a member of staffs name across the bar and clicking at him! Food arrived promptly and quickly, no cranberry sauce with roast turkey had to ask for this. No carrots on roast turkey either and gravy already on roast would have liked to do myself as mine was swimming in gravy! , no check back done. Overall a poor experience. Wouldn’t return!

I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere of the restaurant. The staff where friendly and the service was prompt. The prices where good and would have been without the discount applied. And am looking forward to going again with my family in the next couple of weeks.
