Have been wanting to come here for a long time and not bad at all apart from little burnt on some dishes and the naan bread. The place is very clean and upstairs not that many table and we went on a sat so do come earlier as it will get busy by 8pm... Service is good and the food is tasty and I had to get a takeaway korma for late night snack. One of my friend will come visit us from the US and we will take him here to show him the true curry in Leicester 😝

Good quality food and decent portions. Friendly and helpful waitress. Room was a tad cold, sat next to a radiator to warm up but it was at the lowest setting possible. Can't blame them I suppose, price of heating and all that.

Haven't been out for a while to a restaurant for indian cuisine. This place was recommended by a friend. We visited recently and I have to say it is probably the best indian food I have tasted in a while. The place isn't too big or glamorous and you would walk by it if you didn't know it was there. Overall good food, fair price and great service! Will visit again soon.

I thoroughly enjoyed the food, it came on time with friendly driver. It was fresh and ticked the boxes. Big bold flavours, not greasy so I felt good after I ate it. Thank you melton restaurant. I will order again and recommend.

Top top quality. As good as any high end curry in terms of food. A homely vibe and a very friendly laid back atmosphere. Genuinely superb. I only wish it was closer to home!

2nd time coming here, and will be many more to come. Food at the Melton is absolutely fantastic, a starter and a main less than £20. Starters are huge! Mains are even bigger! I had a starter, and main with mushroom rice and a naan for less than £20 pound. There was enough food for 2 people. The flavours were amazing. The staff are really friendly and and go out of their way to give you a great dining experience. I very highly recommend this place!

Great evening with friends, the young girl that served us was amazing, every time we asked for minor changes to dishes, she happily passed the message to the kitchen, unlike some places we’ve been where every request is met with a brick wall or worse ! We will definitely be going back 👍

Had takeaway the food was over spiced, salty and did not look good at all, very dark. All items tasted the same, biryani was lumpy, very disappointed.

Do you know what,, food great guys in the bar great.. I do a curry club and this is my 2nd time here and it has not dissaponted the chilli panner was an absolute winner and the mains were unreal..

There are some great restaurants near me but this one I would recommend. It's small and nothing fancy but the food is great and value for money. The atmosphere is good and the staff are friendly and welcoming.

Always consistent with their high food standards…central heating was busted but they had electric ones to compensate can’t complain about anything…always number 1 to take people out because we can guarantee the food will be great

This is a good Indian restaurant. Although there are quite a few Indian restaurants in Leicester, this place has great food and good service. The staff are friendly and welcoming. It’s not a fancy place but overall a good experience.

You wouldn't even know this place was here. You could literally drive straight by! 🙈 However, when you find it, the food is absolutely epic, and the service is very good too. If you love Indian Cuisine, then pay this little gem a visit! 👌❤️🔥🍛🍻

This should really be 0 stars, but I have to give 1 just to write a comment. Very disappointed with the booking management. Our group of 14 was double booked ruing our family reunion. Not very apologetic or accommodating to find a solution. If this ever happens to you, try the @indianqueen instead!

Always a favorite for me when coming from abroad. Have the mixed grill and masala fish. Never disappoints. Excellent pricing and portions. Friendly staff. Highly recommend.

I love this restaurant. I'm back in Leicester twice per year and this is where I always want to go! The food is great, the staff are warm and welcoming and even though I only get there twice per year they remember me and chat like no time has passed. Highly recommended to everyone who wants a wonderful meal and service.

Been here long time ago but it's been done out, not flashy but OK, food was great taste and average portions, service was great also, drinks OK. Recommended for food but don't expect 5star restaurant.
