They looked after my partner here when he broke his ankle while working away. 5 star personal service by real humans who really cared. Super refreshing in this world of automated phone lines and chain hotels. Can’t recommend them enough

A lovely place on the Harbour, Great craic downstairs with the atmosphere, and a meal upstairs with stunning views.

Absolutely amazing pub with a very large, outdoor seating area and also a terrace top. Some amazing views and close to the harbour.

We had a great stay here! The rooms are super cute and the pub downstairs is fab. We had a lovely dinner and there is a good beer, wine and cider selection. Would absolutely stay again! Staff was a tad bit overwhelmed as there were several large Christmas parties, but that is to be expected and they still took great care of us

Very nice place for a drink and to eat. Grabbed a comprehensive brunch which sorted me and a friend out well. Looking forward to seeing what this place is like in nicer weather where you can sit on the terrace with a nice view on the marina

we did not stay in the hotel, but really enjoyed dinner and the atmosphere at this restaurant. All four meals were Very tasty . I enjoyed the hake in lobster sauce with potatoes. They also had a good selection of drink options, and the service was fantastic!

tow of us had dinner, the food was good and plentiful. Fish and chips with Hake and a beer batter in particular was good. Did not stay in the rooms - were staying elsewhere

Really great food and excellent staff. Potential improvements... felt on bottom of chair legs to remove loud scraping noises. Light the tea lights on the table without having to be asked. Then it would be perfect!

Stunning place to stay, gorgeous rooms, spotlessly clean and well run. Restaurant and bar superb, views over the marina. Unbelievable value for money, can't wait to stay again! Oh, and the staff are amazing too! P.S. Banana flowers disguised as fish?? Shut up and take my money! Delicious!!!!

Great food, beer, service - plus a great location with wonderful views (both from the outside seating and the restaurant). We were a little surprised to see real ale served using a sparkler - but otherwise a great experience. Thank you for making a family outing extra-special.

Vegan banana blossom was cooked well, a good few veggie/vegan options. My grandmother really enjoyed her fish and they were happy to grill it instead of using batter. My cousin and grandmother were able to have some biscotti on the side of their ice cream free of charge. They had run out of one of the dessert options but the staff were excellent and the view over the harbour is fab!

The usual excellent St Austell brewery pub menu well prepared and nicely served. Great table overlooking the harbour! No hesitation to recommend and would happily return.

We came as a family for Sunday lunch and we had a lovely time. The food was served in a timely manner and the roast was excellent. The children enjoyed the food and loved watching all the great things that happen around a Harbour. Service was friendly and the team hosted us well. We even got to see the rooms as we were looking at them for some friends who are due to visit in February.

Lovely pub, with the staff giving us a warm welcome and listening tobis as we tried to find the right place to enjoy a pint, near the water on a brisk Saturday Afternoon. Downstairs was packed with football watchers but the beer garden outside was uncrowded and just a fabulous place to be, escaping the madness of a busy Falmouth shopping day. We didn't have food, it was a liquid lunch, but the food looked good and the folk upstairs appeared to be tucking in vigorously.

A very pleasant place to stay. The rooms were spotless, clean and comfortable. The bedding was lovely and the softest towels I've ever felt. After a great nights sleep it was topped off with one of the nicest cooked breakfasts I've had, I can recommend the eggs Benedict, it was prepared perfectly. I ate down in the bar which was again spot on. The location is spot on but the only fault is you have to part 100 yards away. Any other issues aren't worth mentioning.

A beautiful pub in a fantastic location serving good beer and with a good atmosphere. Unusually, the service wasn't great when I visited this time. It was very quiet, but the barman was more interested in chatting to another customer than serving me. I was at the bar alone, and about 5 minutes later, I was joined by two others waiting, and the barman went on to serve one of them first. It's a little disappointing, but it's still a great little venue.

Great place to stay, amazing food and friendly staff. Well recommended, if your staying here there are car parks but also just as easy to find off street parking for free.

What an unexpected surprise and find in Falmouth as we pulled in looking for a place to stay. Lucy was terrific in getting us sorted and the room was stunning as it overlooked the harbor from room, "Endeavour". On top of the hospitality from Lucy and the delightful accommodation, we were met by Grace the next morning at breakfast who was so courteous and friendly and had so much to recommendation while taking great care of us at breakfast!

Lovely setting next to harbour. Food was cheap and cheerful, the steak frites never came as in menu, was missing sweet drop peppers, need to say if things are missing or unavailable. Won't be returning.

Nice location, overlooking the harbour. Service was a tad slow, but once the food had arrived, we found it to be tasty, so no real complaint here. The staff were very friendly, and had no issues swapping chips for greens. Would definitely visit again when in town.

We love this pub. Great atmosphere always, especially during Sea Shanty Festival. The St Austell Ales are superbly kept, especially the Tribute. Great food at an incredibly busy lunch time. Brought out through a throng of people.

Really nice outside seating. We sat inside in the pub. Lovely dog friendly bar with water bowls and water bottles and jars of dog treats. Lovely fish and chips. Lunch and evening menu. Loads of sailing memorabilia on the ceilings and walls.

Great central location near the sea. We stopped there twice, once for a quick drink, and again for breakfast. Both times the staff were really friendly and wanted to talk. The breakfast was really good.

Don't hesitate to seek out this great place to eat when you are in Falmouth. There is a lunch menu for the bar area and outside and a more formal menu for the dining area upstairs. The staff are very welcoming and friendly - it is this approach from one of the team who was wiping down outside seats after a shower of rain that encouraged us to pick the pub for lunch today. 5 stars for food, friendliness, location and sheer choice of options.

It could be five stars if the chefs turned up. The staff, ambience, service was on point. And that's considering the floor staff were shipped into the kitchen to look after bookings for food. Maybe we'll come back for the 5 star experience.

What a treat! Staff were brilliant, attentive & friendly. Food was delicious, and the kitchen were accommodating when I made a request to switch something up! Thank you. Also if you’ve never tried mussels before, try them here! My first time trying them and they were amazing, the sauce they are served in was πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ

Food was fantastic. My missus is gluten free, not a problem here. She had her own menu to choose from.

We dine in Falmouth very regularly and often at the Chainlocker. Wonderful staff, fantastic ales and wines with amazing food and choice. Tonight the mussels with fries and breads were the best I’ve had in Falmouth and the fish pie special was top notch. Thank you and see you all again very soon.

Really delicious food last night. The 'market fish' (hake) was beautifully cooked, some of the best that we have ever tasted. Friendly and attentive service. Loved the tropical trifle too
