This a lovely looking pub with a good selection of food and drinks. I would like to give it more stars, but the price is so expensive for what you get I can't justify giving it any more than three. I paid 14 pounds for the vegan burger which was literally just a burger pate with a slice of tomato and a slice of lettuce, with a small cup of fries. How do you justify charging 14 pounds for that? The food is very nice tasting. But very expensive. We was served quickly and the customer service was OK. The staff didn't have much knowledge of the food on the menu. I asked what the burger was made from and the staff didn't know or bothered to find out. When we arrived the restaurant was pretty much empty. Yet the waitress put us on a table next to a large family with kids running around noisily and uncontrollable. Why put a couple next to a family with disruptive kids beggars belief, especially when the restaurant is empty. I had to go and ask to be reseated elsewhere. Unless the price changes considerably, we shall not be returning.

Great place to eat, lovely food and the service was really good. We did not book but still got a table on a Saturday lunchtime. Lots of choice on the menu, and several vegan options which was a bonus. The restaurant is really conveniently situated off the dual carriageway and has lots of parking. Disabled parking spaces are located right next the the ramp giving access to the main entrance. The outside area looked nice, with plenty of seating and very clean

We attended a large family meal here today and it was wonderful. The staff were excellent in helping with wheelchair access for our 98year old grandmother. Jenny in particular was a perfect host, attending to our every need, polite, cheerful and warm smile. There is a good range of beer and an extensive menu including some delicious meat free meals. What a lovely venue to spend a few hours with family.

Lovely pub with a nice atmosphere and a fireplace. Popped in for a quick meal and the food was nice, but on the expensive side. There was also an additional item added to our bill which we only discovered because I asked for a receipt after we already paid as it felt more expensive than it should have been. Staff apologised and refunded us. We will probably return for another meal one day, but not in a rush as it's on the expensive side. Lovely pub though.

Our waitress Ella was excellent, on the ball and very friendly with a lovely smile . I frequently visit the Bell with a friend for lunch so the 30% off main meals I decided to treat my husband who had only been once before, his fillet steak was disappointing, he said it was tough and his cheese board wasn’t great either , grapes weren’t fresh and perhaps more cheese than a saucer of dip that dominated the plate . We don’t like to complain as it spoils the evening perhaps we should have . My rib-eye steak was perfect.

Beautiful family Christmas get together. 13 in our group. Fast service and the food was superb. First time in a long time I can honestly say Sunday roast was as tasty as home cooked. Loved every mouth full. Highly recommend and will certainly be coming back for Sunday lunch. Well done to all the staff as you were extremely busy but very attentive to all.

The atmosphere at this restaurant is truly wonderful - cozy, warm, and inviting. From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home. The staff were fantastic - attentive, efficient, and friendly, making sure that every aspect of our experience was just right. My partner ordered the pizza, and I have to say, it tasted absolutely amazing. The crust was crispy, and the toppings were perfectly balanced, making for a delicious and satisfying meal. As for me, I ordered the linguine dish, which was honestly one of the best I've ever had. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the sauce was rich, flavorful, and beautifully balanced. Throughout our meal, we were consistently impressed by the level of service we received. The staff went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed and were enjoying our experience. It was clear that they genuinely cared about their customers, and that level of care made all the difference. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a cozy and memorable dining experience. The food, atmosphere, and service were all outstanding, and we will definitely be back again soon!

We got married here on Saturday in the barn. We booked it around November last year and Amy was amazing with getting back to us quickly and answered any questions we had. Cameron helped us out the last week and on the day and again was amazing! The day went absolutely perfectly, we couldn’t fault any of the staff or the food and they made the day go so smoothly. All our guests said it was the best wedding food they had ever had. Would highly recommend getting married here, it was by far the cheapest package we found and the barn looked beautiful! We even got to bring our fur baby along! Thank you so much for making our special day perfect! Mr and Mrs Graham x

Update: Visited for Saturday lunch. We didn't book but the lovely staff still got us a table even though they had a wedding party due. The food was delicious as was the Lotus Biscoff chocolate bomb! A great pub with great staff. Had a lovely meal here this evening. There was a lovely and pleasant atmosphere as I walked in. I had the sea bass, it was cooked perfectly and the trio of cheese cakes were delightful. The staff were very friendly and polite, our conversations were never interrupted to ask if we needed anything which I really appreciated.

We had an absolutely wonderful lunch on Sunday. A mix of Sunday Lunches and off menu choices. The staff were all wonderful, helpful, polite, professional and provided amazing service despite it being incredibly busy. Toni was our main server and was spot on for everything even dish changes due to medical dietary needs. Nothing was too much trouble. Our food arrived in good time, plentiful, piping hot and correct. Couldn't fault in any way. Recommend highly and huge thanks to the team.

booked a table via the website 1 hour before arrival. It was a birthday for my partner. I requested " if possible can you make something special, like a nice table or anything" When I arrived we had a lovely table, and all staff were on hand to make this an unforgettable moment. After the meal I requested that would it be possible to have something with a candle in representing a birthday cake. They absolutely excelled their selves and I will upload photos of I can. Gemma was our server, as well with a girl who seemed to be her first day were a credit to your establishment and were wonderful and caring, never leaving anything unwanted

The Bell is a lovely cosy restaurant, with tasty food and a good atmosphere. When we came through the front door, there was an unpleasant smell like toilets but the toilets were very clean so I’m not sure where it came from. When we arrived to The Bell, we were greeted promptly and told our table was still being set up. This gave us time to order some drinks before we went to the table, which were served promptly. The lager selection on tap was fantastic and the Asahi lager was delicious. Once we had our drinks, we were told our table was ready. The table was for 6 but I felt it was slightly cramped, and being wedged up the corner did not help. Nonetheless, the table itself was clean and the decor, traditional in its nature, helped create a warm and cosy atmosphere. One member of the party who had arrived later was seated at the table for 10 minutes until I had to flag down a waiter to take a drinks order. The drinks arrived promptly and the house wine I ordered, Merlot, was served at room temperature which was perfect. My guests had the following items: * SMOKED SALMON & KING PRAWNS topped with Devon crab crème fraîche, served with ciabatta’ which, whilst presented rather oddly with a jar to house the salmon and prawns (and hindered the process of eating the meal), tasted great. The ciabatta was toasted perfectly and the salmon and prawns were rich in flavour. The portion was a good size, and it is something I would order again. * DIABLO PIZZA - This ended up being a great choice. It was too hot to eat on arrival, and the pizza cutter offered barely made a dent, however once it had cooled and I was able to eat it with a knife and fork, I was impressed with every component. The pepperoni was delicious, and the ham hock, bacon and chorizo complimented the jalapeños and red chili perfectly. The portion size was slightly too big as about a quarter of it went to waste, so the option of a doggy bag here is a good one. The table had started to fill up with glasses by the time our mains were finished and this was neglected by the waiters. It was a rather busy night so I can forgive this, but it did make the already small table even more cramped whilst eating our main courses. * HOME-BAKED CHOCOLATE BROWNIE - This was served with custard, of which I had specifically requested. The dessert was the pièce de résistance of the night. Presented beautifully, perfect in flavour and portion size, I would happily eat this after every meal. * Panko Chicken - This came with their chips and gravy. It was okay the chicken was little dry in places and I feel a green product would of made a nice addition to the meal. * Freshly Battered Line-Caught Cod - no faults! :) * Ice cream and home-baked triple chocolate cookie - This was delicious! The added choice of ice cream really with this dessert was a lovely bonus. The toilets in the restaurant left a little to be desired, as the night went on they became progressively worse with a wet floor in the toilet and unflattering smells. Overall, I would rate the Bell at a 7/10 as it allowed for an enjoyable night, however certain incidents listed above could definitely be improved if I were to visit again. The company was great and the service was ok but room for improvement. I understand Friday evenings are busy but we didn’t have a waiter to check up on us or clear our empty glasses away from the table.

We visited The Bell today with our daughter and her family and boxer dog. We were greeted with a welcoming smile and were shown to our table immediately. All the staff were very friendly and efficient, particularly Emma who was our waitress. She was very attentive and our food was served very efficiently. On a hot summer's afternoon the area where we were seated was lovely and cool. A very pleasant afternoon thank you. Sheila Stokes

Driving back from Worcester to Birmingham we decided to stop here for food. Gotta say its a really nice restaurant, friendly staff and good atmosphere all round. But the food was 10/10 huge portions and I think literally the best roast I've had in any restaurant I've ever been too. I would highly recommend trying Bell out when in the area.... Spot on 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
