A disappointing experience, ordering a main meal and received a sad plate of cold items, looking like a childrens meal with dry and tasteless chicken. Expect more from the price that was paid, service was lacking and or non existent. Will not be back.

The food here was out of this world, the staff very friendly and the ipa beer suggested went down a treat with my meal.

Nice enough place with pleasant staff. Despite being pretty busy during my visit the staff were attentive and the service was reasonably quick. The toilets and bar area were clean and it was a decent atmosphere for a Saturday afternoon. The food was ok and my only real complaints were little things like toast served without butter, no salt in the condiment stack and options on a brunch deal that they didn't stock. I would definitely return again though.

Tasty burger at a reasonable price. Nice decor and friendly staff. Decent pint. Would recommend introducing a better selection of draft beers though, maybe some craft beers.

I did like this bar, fantastically decorated with an open feel and great table spaces, surrounded by great big sofas and chairs and they're all different. It has great big windows which adds to the light feel of the place. There's so many bars round about here in Merchant city but in my opinion this is the best. The prices were reasonable especially for the food and they do an excellent lunch deal. The service was as you would expect

First visit for drinks. Nice clean pub. Good variety of drinks & OK prices fie merchant City. However a bit annoyed that after been sitting at table by window for an hour, we were asked to move as it was 'booked'. There was only 5 tables occupied in whole pub, so why cudnt they be sat elsewhere! We were going to order more drinks but just left. Don't know why someone else had more right to the table than us!!

Nice settings, air con chilled food pretty quickly. Ordering meal at bar difficult and had to be repeated several times to ensure correct. Toilet door bangs and ruins atmosphere.

The staff was fantastic, we had a great time chatting with our server and the bartender as we were the only people in the restaurant at dinner. They are responsible for the extra stars. Unfortunately, the food was only one star. We got a squid starter, which was bland and overcooked. However, the appetizer was great compared to my main. I got the fish and chips and while it was a ton of food, there was just no flavor at all and the texture was not appetizing. We had gotten the three course dinner option, but changed it to the two because by the time we tried to eat our main course we didn't even want to bother with dessert. I would go there for a drink and a chat, but the food just wasn't worth it.

The firecracker inferno wings were unreal. Great selection of normal beers and IPAs.

Absolutely love this place, easily my favourite pub in the Merchant City. Fantastic atmosphere every time. Oh, and not to mention the excellent deals they have on for students and student societies! Would highly recommend 😁

Went for a birthday boozy brunch, had an absolutely amazing time! Amazing value, lovely drinks and such a nice atmosphere! Whole thing was made so good by our server (Lauren?) who was so so so nice and super lovely genuinely like the best service we have ever received ever 11/10 pls go there just for her x

Disappointed this time. Previously had excellent food here. Last night food was cold. Meals came separately staff just did not seem to bother all chatting. We had to go find our secon d meal. The topped fries barely had any chicken. Side salad no dressing when I asked I was told there were sauces on table. The ketchup and mayo not quite my favourite salad dressing! No dressing in sauce tray. Weirdly during dinner someone kept trying to sell us shots. I was sad it was great food at Xmas.

I always think of this place when I'm looking for a casual lunch on the east side of the city centre. The relaxed atmosphere, well priced and varied menu and the central location keeps bringing me back and make it one of my favourites, being able to order food and drinks through the ap as well is a huge bonus, would definitely recommend

The cocktails here are amazing. If you order 2 of the same you get 50% off. Even better for us at the time of us visiting (a Friday afternoon) it was 50% off all cocktails (no need to buy 2). Staff were si friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. All round a great 👍 from us.

First time here, with my sister. Lovley, home from home atmosphere. Staff very attentive and friendly. Food was delicious and well presented. We also had a few drinks. Will definitely visit again.

Ordered Mac Cheese. What turned up was a side-serving size. Small! No white sauce but pasta stirred with cheddar. Oily. The accompanied ‘salad’ was some withered yellow lettuce, fragments of tomato & onion. Left hungry

Went for boozy brunch for my birthday and Lynn & Beth served us. Absolutely incredible service the whole time we were there, constantly checking up and making sure we were enjoying ourselves. The food was 10/10, drinks were fantastic and the price we paid was so good as well. Couldn’t rate the service enough - very happy and will be back.

Went here for the Boozy brunch with my daughter. We had a lovely couple of hours. Our server was Lauryn who was just so nice. She was so attentive and chatty and we felt very at ease with her. Could of stayed all day

Went to bar home for an event with university and was welcome very kindly by Lauryn and had an exquisite time at bar home. Lauryn served us our drinks fast and prompt. Excellent service, 11/10 would drink again in bar home

Popped in on a drizzly Wednesday evening with a friend. Atmosphere was casual but engaging, service was efficient and friendly and guinness was top tier. Special shout out to Deni who managed to balance giving us the chat and serving a horde of young Freshers with ease. Would and will recommend.

Went for lunch on a quiet Thursday. A wee hiccup on the drinks was sorted with no fuss and the service was excellent. Food nice and tasty. Good music and atmosphere.

Great bar with some great staff. Me and my friends went for a couple drinks and stayed the whole night! The food was good pub food and they had a great cocktail menu. A boy who worked there called Nathan even went out of his way to make us cocktails that weren’t on the menu and he kept checking up to see if we were satisfied. Can’t wait to go back!

This is a good bar. Popped in at the end of a works night out and enjoyed the fact that it was big and spacious and had a relaxed atmosphere. In terms of style it has a robust and stripped back urban feel that is more comfortable than that phrase suggests. It is in the heart of Glasgow’s Merchant city and stands up well against some other great venues in this area. I enjoyed the presentation of a gin and tonic in a glass that occupied the space between a frosted goldfish bowl and a hefty goblet.

Amazingly ordinary. It's not bad, it's just too big. The staff are lovely and efficient and the decor is good. But it is a somewhat cavernous room lacking somewhat in the ambience stakes.

I love this place it is like my 2nd HOME!! Great atmosphere great food great staff very friendly & laid back good music but you can still have a conversation without SHOUTING!! A definite MUST if your in MERCHANT CITY!!! Highly recommend a visit EVERYONE I've told about it love it and come back !!! ENJOY!!

Smashing drinks range if perhaps a little pricier than some other bars, but worth the extra. The toilets are a bit confusing however!!

Home sweet home

This is a cool bar. I enjoyed the selection of beers but made a few wrong choices so my enjoyment was hampered. The decor is very cool, lots of mirrors make you feel your in an architectural marvel but yiur actually just in an old tenement conversion. Conversation was adequate, but the venue can not take responsibility for my company.

Came here for an afternoon boozy brunch and had the best time me and my boyfriend both got the breakfast which was a great potion size and very tasty we also got 6 drinks each which staff were very quick to come order and bring to the table, the place had a great atmosphere as there was glasses and hats on the table think this was because transmt was on but it gave us a laugh. I would definitely return
