I love the ambience. The staff is very sweet and they serve really quickly. Food is authentic and delicious BUT DEFINITELY THE DISHES ARE DOUBLE PRICE AS COMPARED TO OTHER RESTAURANTS. one time experience! They serve delicious cocktails (I tried Red Rain - fabulous) 😋 It’s very busy and too loud. I feel the seating could be better - you can listen to the conversations of others so I felt uncomfortable in chatting personal things :/

The food was mostly good, though considering the small portion sizes and price point, I've had better experiences at other Indian restaurants in London. Between the three of us, we shared the trio of dosa (nice), achari lamb chops (very good but quite steep at £44 for 3 pieces), crab vada (not bad but nothing special), bombay prawn masala curry (great flavour), chicken tikka makhani curry (nice but very little pieces of chicken), chilgoza malai broccoli (undercooked and no flavour), dabba dal (fine but not the best daal I've had), naan, pappadoms and paratha. For dessert, we shared the trio of kulfi (not to my taste) and the jalebi cheesecake (nice). The service was efficient and there was no need to check up or follow up on anything which made the experience pleasant.

Hello, I recently dined at Bombay Bustle restaurant with a reservation under the number 76YSAK6EA, and I must say that my experience was a rather mixed one. While the restaurant itself exuded a charming ambiance and promising cuisine, several aspects of our visit left much to be desired. Upon our arrival, the receptionist directed us to a table located in a high-traffic area downstairs, near the restaurant's entrance. Given the less-than-ideal location, we politely requested a table change to a more comfortable spot. Unfortunately, the response we received from one of the staff members was less than professional. Instead of addressing our concern and assisting us promptly, he seemed dismissive and initially questioned why we were sent downstairs in the first place. This initial interaction was far from the level of hospitality one would expect. After making our way back upstairs to request a table change from the receptionist, we experienced a significant delay in receiving menus. It took approximately 22 minutes for them to be provided to our table, which was a rather frustrating wait. Furthermore, it was disappointing to note that the service we received was inconsistent compared to the exemplary service other patrons seemed to be enjoying. The individual assigned to our table appeared to prioritize other reservations and displayed a noticeable lack of attention and professionalism when serving us. This discrepancy in service left us feeling overlooked and undervalued as customers. As a group of four diners, we had high expectations for our visit to Bombay Bustle, but the issues we encountered significantly dampened our experience. While the restaurant itself offers an inviting atmosphere and the promise of delicious cuisine, the service we received, particularly from the staff member assigned to our table, fell far short of the standards one would expect from a dining establishment of this caliber. In conclusion, I hope that Bombay Bustle will take our feedback into consideration to improve the consistency and quality of their service. Dining out should be an enjoyable and memorable experience, and unfortunately, our visit left us with a sense of disappointment.

A spontaneous evening where we were lucky enough to get a table as a walk in. Starters were excellent! The Dal was lovely too that went well with the rice. Staff were friendly and honest with recommending food so we didn’t end up over ordering. Atmosphere was intimate and cosy, I’d recommend requesting to be seated downstairs. Definitely would recommend!

Great menu selection. There is an option to pay £75 and taste many dishes, but for minimum 2 people. For the price you can do an amazing meal choosing what you rather have. We got the chilli paneer - too chewing for my taste. I really didn’t enjoy. But except for it everything was amazing. Bustle platter as well for starters. For mains: keralan fish curry, chicken biryani (the rice was so soft, it was very nicely made), paneer butter masala (amazing, one of the best paneer curries I ever ate), selection of bread + paratha + naan + roomali roti. And ended with chicken tandori, nicely tender. Dessert we had the sorbet trio + falooda + banana cake (this one was too strong, something wasn’t work in the flavour). The main saloon it is really nice as a train carriage. We sat downstairs where has less light and more cosy. Nice indian restaurant. Worthy going

Had the pleasure of eating at Bombay Bustle Friday evening 25/8/23. Fairly empty but we had booked a table anyway. Food was expensive, and portions were smaller than I was expecting, however they did not disappoint. It was divine- some of the best butter naan I've ever had as well. Paired well with the Chicken Makhani. Also had lamb chops- only 3 chops per portion however they are on the larger side of chops. I'd say slightly overcooked. I'd give the Chicken Makhani 5/5 but the chops a 3.5/5- relative to the price. Mango lassi was great- I usually have this after spicy food in between dishes. For dessert, we had their Banana Toffee Dessert, which came with thick cream and topped with white chocolate curls. A strong dessert. Convenient location too £50-60 per person in my case but expect to pay up to £80/90 if you're hungry

Amazing from start to finish! Best Indian meal I've EVER had! We had a the six course tasting menu and couldn't fault a single thing. The service from Clayton ( potential apologies for the spelling ) was honestly some of the best service we've had in any restaurant. Attentive but not pushy at all and also very knowledgeable of all the dishes. We will 100% return ( as soon as possible!! ) Thank you so much for a special night Bombay Bustle!

Lovely Indian restaurant right in the middle of central London. Free parking during weekends on single yellow. Restaurant very welcoming and cosy. Very nice ambience. Excellent customer service. Everyone was smiling and enjoying. Food is really good but I think it is expensive for what it is. I felt that the food wasn't as tasty as it could have been. I had to add salt to some of the dishes such as chicken madras. The vegetable Biriyani was delicious. Coca cola bottle is 200ml. That is disappointing. Usually it should be 330ml. The price you are charging for 200ml is daylight robbery. The music in the restaurant was very loud. It is like you are in a night club. Please turn the music down a bit. The waiter couldn't even hear my order clearly and I couldn't even hear the waiter. Everyone is literally talking loudly to hear each other because the music is so loud.

I went to Bombay Bustle for lunch with a colleague. We were not disappointed. We tried a fair few dishes from the starters and loved it all. The dosa's were my favourite along with the king prawns. The staff were friendly and didn't rush us, we took our time and they were very helpful in helping us select dishes.I would def go back again.

Good service. We went on a Sunday and the place was relatively quiet. Service was excellent and the staff was helpful. Authentic Indian taste. Taste was a little underwhelming. Will slightly prefer Colonel Saab which has recently opened when it comes to taste. I have been to Bombay Bustle before. May be on this visit they were not up to scratch. Definitely worth a try if you want a high end dinner with Indian menu.

Deserves to be a 5 star restaurant! I went on my wedding night in 2021 and had the time of my life! A night we would never forget. One year later I visited again for my father in law’s birthday dinner with a party of 7 and we had yet another great night. Exceptional cocktails and the food matched it. Everything was still up to par and I just love the style of inside the restaurant. Very good Indian carriageway theme throughout. Let’s get this restaurant to 5 stars!! ⭐️

Great selection of food. We tried the early dinner menu, absolutely loved the starters but the main course was okayish within the early dinner menu options. Good cocktails, a bit too pricey though. I would go back for the yummy starter selection. Certainly recommend going with friends and sharing lots of dishes.

Food was pretty good. I started off by ordering a drink, the winter sour. Not sure what I was expecting, something closer to a whisky sour but this has no sour whatsoever. It honestly wasn't my cup of tea. I then ordered Madras Chicken Curry, garlic naan and rice. It came out quickly and was eaten rather quickly because it was delicious. I chicken was tender and the curry was flavor. The naan was cooked perfectly and paired well with the curry sauce. I usually don't get dessert but I decided to try the recommended banana caramel chocolate pie. It was amazing. I wasn't able to eat it all, unfortunately I was by myself but it's something easy to share! 😍 As far as the service, it was alright. It was long wait times for him to get to me and it wasn't too busy. My water was empty majority of the time which was my biggest reason for the service. I even had the empty drink and he never asked if I wanted another, or more water. Then, I asked for the bill and I found it interesting that they automatically add a "discretionary charge of 15% " on top of the vat 20%. When I asked what it was, the waiter said oh, if you enjoyed the restaurant, you can pay it but if you didn't it's optional. When I asked if it was like a tip, he said oh no no, it's to the restaurant so I opted out. Tip isn't a thing here so I was confused. I didn't like that at all. So when you do come, ask for the bill before you hand over your card and remove the "discretionary charge" . That's absurd.

A very tasty and delectable food menu. We found an Indian restaurant with food that really tastes Indian, after a very long time. A bit pricey, but definitely justifies a special occasion. Jalebi cheesecake is yum. This was the best highlight of our dinner there.

I love the dosa the most. And the desserts are amazing. Kulfi and gulab jamun tiramisu are so good. The eggplant is also good. Lamb a bit too spicy. Overall good.

Visited for lunch and had the express menu. Starters and dessert were good but main course was very ordinary (I can cook better food at home). Portions were good (for main but not for starters). service was good (except they don’t tell you about express menu unless you ask for it). However, at this price point, the food is definitely not worth coming back for…

Excellent food and decent ambience. We tried the Sunday Brunch - the food was good throughout - particularly enjoyed the StoneBass fish which came as part of the NonVeg Kebab Platter. The Bombaiya Ragda and the Kerala Pepper Beef Fry were authentic and excellent. The Jalebi Cheesecake was interesting too.

Me and my wife both came for a wedding anniversary day out for first time after marriage. Was looking for a restaurant to eat at and found this wonderful joint. The service was outstanding and food was really nice I really liked the chutneys they were on point. I was delighted how the way managers and staff all took care of us and made our day special.

We were slightly late to our booking. As we attended the host was polite and was awaiting our arrival. Albeit a little quiet when we sat down (around 6pm on Sunday) the restaurant was filled to the brim but the time we left - seems to definitely be a bustling place! In regards to the food, it was superb. Packed full of flavour, textures and wonderfully balanced dishes were served to us. I would say the Chicken Mahkni and Tandoori chicken were stand outs! Also the trio of dosa - light and devilishly satisfying. The decor was nice, the whole feeling was like you were in an old school Indian train with the very last details being paid attention to. Dishes were served in old school tiffins - what a great experience. My only gripe with the place was the price and the service charge which was over £50 for I would say mediocre service at best. Would I return? YES! I do recommend however please be aware that it can get a little pricey - but I guess that’s expected in this part of London!

Went a few weeks ago but forgot to write a review! Had a fab time for my besties birthday! Loved our food. Only down side was my friend had to ask for extra chillies as the food wasn't spicy enough for her (she likes her food extra spicy!) The star of the show was definitely the Gadbad Sundae for dessert absolutely amazing! The chilli syrup with the ice creams was a stroke of genius! The atmosphere was fun and the decor was beautiful and unique, such a great place to eat. We would definitely recommend Bombay Bustle to everyone we know. Service was good but our server did forget to bring the chillies we asked for and forgot to bring the bill after we asked so we did have to ask twice for these things but the restaurant was busy so it was understandable and didnt really have any impact on how much we enjoyed our visit. We will definitely be back!!

The restaurant really took the social distancing rules seriously and were so thoughtful while making the seating arrangement, which was very nice. The food itself was really tasty and well presented. We thoroughly enjoyed the overall experience and I’ve had one of the best Idli and Dosa in London here. It definitely will be one of my Sunday brunch spots.

Great place to get Food Drunk. Had the tasting menu, was defeated by the amount of food. Excellent service and not rushed or slow in any way. If you're not big eaters, one tasting menu for two people is sufficient.

Very distinctive curries. Better than I expected. There are other high end Indian Restaurants in London, including Michelin starred, but I thought that this was the best I've tried.

Before we go any further: gulab jamun IN A TIRAMISU people! Sorry Italy, but these babies are soft moist and go perfectly with the marscapone. Genius. I also loved the dosa trio was pancake soft, and so delicious with the lamb and sauces on the side! The keema pau was one of my favorites too, such good flavor but didn’t mask the lamb flavor. But what can?! Of course a mango lassi to wash it all down!

Great starters and mains but quite small portions for the price. Dessert was Kulfi but the flavours did not come through enough.

It was a special anniversary to us both so we decided to head into London for the weekend. So glad to have found this special gem in Mayfair. The service from start to finish was tremendous. We never felt ignored, drinks were always topped up and the staff were super friendly. I'm very picky with Indian restaurants as I never find them quite like home, but the flavours here were superb. We will definitely be back to visit again. And thank you for the surprise anniversary cake :D

We were celebrating a birthday and decided to order the tasting menu. From start to finish the experience was great. The staff were attentive, the ambiance lovely (we were downstairs) and the food itself was simply amazing. It was a slow build up through each course, timed perfectly. Never rushed. Each dish was fresh, tasty and the spicing delicatley balanced. And the desserts to finish off (including a surprise birthday one) made the whole evening really enjoyable. We would definitely recommend and look forward to visiting again.Thanks.

Very busy and waiters took a long time, door lady could've at least given a menu upon seating us... Good food but the portion sizes are small especially the broccoli

Food was ok, not worth the hype or price. We had: Old Gold Fashion -- 5/5 Pearl of Bombay -- 5/5 Malai Broccoli -- 3/5 Samosa chat -- 4/5 Paneer Butter Masala -- 4/5 Garlic Naan -- 5/5 Butter Naan -- 5/5 There's no privacy since the table next to you is about 6 inches away and you can overhear other tables. I hate to give 4 starts but I genuinely liked it but didn't love it enough to go back!

Food is good here but it is on the pricier end. I would recommend other Indian restaurants over Bombay Bustle. The atmosphere and cocktails were great here but can’t justify the price point.

  • 1/5 Matteo B. 2 years ago on Google
We were rushed through the tasting menu, with drinks from different dishes piling up on plate. At the end, for the dessert, we were even asked to move out of our table and have the dessert wine at the bar. Awful service with very dismissing attitude from staff. Most definitely not worth the money.

One of my favourite Indian restaurants in London - delicious food (especially the biryani) and great service (albeit on the pricier side)

  • 5/5 daniel w. 2 years ago on Google
The food here is outstanding really worth a visit. Couldn't tell you whether it's authentic, but I can assure you Indian take away doesn't even seem the same cuisine compared to the food here. Delicious.

Beautiful venue, good service. My partner booked for my birthday. The starters were tasty, we had keema pao and garlic prawns. The mains were good as well. However, we ordered the tawa crab. When something is cooked on the tawa I expect it to be dry, this was a curry and the there were no chunks of crab, the crab was melted in. I was not impressed with the dessert at all. The Jalebi cheesecake was a cheesecake with a few broken jalebi's in it. I think the food was overpriced for what it was.

We visited this lovely restaurant for celebrating our anniversary and I must say our experience was simply outstanding. The staff especially Amelia was extremely knowledgeable and made great recommendations. The food was absolutely delicious – everything we tasted melted in other mouths. We will definitely visit it again 👍🏻
