Indian food as it was meant to be. I visited Memories of India with my family whilst we were travelling from Cambridgeshire, and this place is definitely on my list of places I need to go back to. The food was better than any Indian restaurant I've yet to come across in my own county or anywhere in Bristol where I used to live. It was also very reasonably priced for what we received (not just for the quality– the portion sizes were huge!), and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. I don't usually leave reviews, but this place is more than deserving of the 5 star review I'm giving it. If anybody from the restaurant is reading this– thank you again for a wonderful meal, and I hope to visit you again in the near future.

If you want authentic Indian food, I would not recommend this restaurant. Dishes are not what they should be (missing ingredients), food is flavourless (no seasoning or spice) and we felt uncomfortable (rushed by staff who made inappropriate comments). Lentils were uncooked and hard. The spinach was frozen and cold. Naans were pre-made and heated. Stay far aware from here if you want an authentic Indian experience.

Dropped in for diner after and even walk in the Beeches. Very welcoming and clean. Food was excellent, well presented and well priced. Portion size was good but not excessive so able to enjoy the meal without waste

Bloody expensive, and the food was distinctly average. The bill came and the drinks were not itemised so we could not check the validity of the amount we were charged. Won't be returning

The staff here were welcoming and attentive - We ordered a Jalfrezi and a Korma with Lemon Rice which came promptly - I think that the portion sizes could be bigger, and if I’m being honest the food wasn’t anything to write home about. It's nice, but not outstanding. I’d come again but it wouldn't be my first choice

Took my daughter here before leaving the UK on the 10th of January. The meal we ordered was delicious with excellent service. I will definitely come back on my next trip to the UK.

Very good, well presented food and some unique items on the menu too. The starters and mains were great, especially the Handy Gosht. Service was very attentive and will visit again.

Coming from somebody who has tried so many different Indian takeaways throughout the South of the the UK, I have to say that this has to be on of the more dissapointing ones. Food portions were good but the spicing on the dishes is pretty poor, my bombay potatoes were also pale and bland. Sorry but I won't be purchasing again! Paid 30 pound for my curry to taste more like spaghetti bolognese. :(

We had the dish named chicken shonar bangla and it was so tenderly cooked & the spices added was as per our taste. Definitely recommending it to my friends.🍗💖💖💖

Waiting two hours for an order (two curries, rice, bread and starter)... Still not arrived. Called the restaurant, all orders have left kitchen. Called 30 minutes later... Will check and call you back. No call back received. Called again, spoke to the manager - sorry kitchen is busy and it's arriving any minute... That was 10 minute ago. Save yourself the hassle. At 9:30pm don't really want my dinner now. I expect a wait on a Saturday night but over two hours is crazy and no customer service to go with it.

Went here for the first time a few weeks ago for dinner, was absoloutley lovely. Food is great, staff are even better. Lovely calm clean environment. 10/10, highly recommend to anyone!

Ordered via ubereats, and restaurant people were kind with suggestions and to deliver food during late hours and hot as well. Now the quality/ taste of food was not good at all. Shaamee kebab was really dry and without flavours. Paneer adrakwala gravy was so bad, too sweet , gravy was not supposed to be like that. Seems like paneer was put in green mint chutney. Same with daal, without flavors. Chicken dish was OK. Only good thing was laccha paratha and garlic naan. Hope they improve food quality.

Never visit this restaurant! Reservation at 715pm, they served poppadoms and despite multiple prompts, they didn't serve any other food or even clear the table until well past 925pm. Eventually we had to walk out without any food. More than 2 hours with no food is not any way to treat your customers.

Good service and good food. Tha tables have plenty of room around them so that you don't feel hemmed in.

Got a takeaway tonight for the first time and have to say SHOCKING, I ordered a Bhuna and the Chicken was dry and hard and so hot it could of been Vindaloo. I definitely will not be back, I will not return.

Ordered biryani and lamb madras. Food was ok but portions were too small and could be better .
