We stumbled upon Sarpech by accident and we were not disappointed. By far the best Indian food we have ever had, so good we ate there 2 nights running. All we could hear was other diners saying how amazing the food was. The owners and staff make every effort to ensure that guests had a great experience, so refreshing to feel valued in a restaurant. Beautiful food in great surroundings with 1st class service, the perfect combination. I hope Sarpech is hugely successful, it deserves to be!

We brought our staff here for a post Christmas dinner in February.The service as always was second to none and the food delicious. There were over 30 of us and Everything flowed without delay. The customer service is fabulous- led by Bella. What an asset she is. All the staff are attentive and polite without being intrusive. So pleased they have kept going despite all the COVID restrictions. We felt very safe last night with the measures in place.

Absolutely incredible Indian cuisine - travelled over 40 minutes for dinner last night after seeing a recommendation left on a review for a local restaurant similar to Sarpech, but this place is cuts above the rest. I think this restaurant is good. We went as a family if four with two teenagers in a Saturday night, and we enjoyed it. Service is formal, friendly and efficient, the decor is clean, crisp and fairly modern, the ambience is upmarket informal. Tasteful jazz music in background which was unobtrusive. Food was nicely presented and home cooked. Salad was fresh and crisp, my Tandoori chicken cooked perfectly.

My partner and I had dinner at Sarpech last week while visiting the area and it was honestly one of the best dining experiences we've ever had! The food was absolutely delicious, and not at all oily which we've noticed with some other Indian food we've had. Every dish was incredible, and the customer service was above and beyond - every staff member we encountered was so friendly, including bringing us leaflets of what other activities were available in the area while we were visiting! I wish we lived closer so we could eat there regularly! Thank you for such a great evening and meal!!

Lovely welcome on our first visit to this restaurant. Vibrant atmosphere. Food was excellent, well presented and authentic tastes. Recommend the meat sharing platter. Spoilt for choice for medium to spicy dishes. Very good service. However only negative was position of table 9. Feels cramped due to proximity of the next table, and difficult to cancel out the noise of the music speaker just above the table. However that was the only negative definitely recommend. Will return just not to table 9.

Visited with my wife on Saturday 5th... can't really fault this place. I booked in advance for my wife's birthday and they even provided a treat at the end of the meal. Great food and service.

We visited on a Tuesday and it was lively (best to get a reservation!) The staff were super friendly and attentive. The food was fantastic and of excellent quality. My only disappointment was that I had not starved myself before going as we had so much we couldn't quite finish! Definitely worth visiting Oakham for a trip to Sarpech if you're in the area.

Wow. Fabulous food. It elevated what I expected from Indian food to great cuisine. Best Indian I've ever had. Couldn't have asked for more from the staff. Simply delightful. We enjoyed the "early menu"- great value - but the full menu looked a bit on the pricey side. Having said that, we will definitely return with guests.

Wonderful menu options, far from the run-of-the-mill, providing the opportunity to try different dishes. The food is excellent, as is the service. Update during Covid-19 lockdown: We continue to be impressed by Sarpech. We've been collecting takeaways during these C-19 periods and Adi and his team provide excellent ordering services via the website, contactless collection and, moreover, the same impeccable food as served when dining in. This place remains hugely recommended and never disappoints.

We are staying at a hotel nearby and good that we found this lovely restaurant. This is not any typical Indian restaurant, they are providing good food and enjoyable experience. Well done guys.

We came to Oakham for a night for our wedding anniversary. Booked into Sarpech for our celebration meal because the reviews were so good. Suffice to say that the food was outstanding, the ambience was wonderful and the service was first class. I've eaten in countless Indian restaurants, including in India itself, and this is one of the very best I've ever experienced. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Me and my family love this place so much!! We have been going here since it opened and love that it is always adding new things to its menu. The lamb is always beautifully tender and the new salt and chilli squid starter is outstanding. We have always had the absolute best customer service and they will accommodate your every need. What a pleasant experience this was! Considering we were a large group, everything from the service/attention we received, the timing of the food/drinks and the overall quality of the food was brilliant. You can tell the owner prioritises quality over everything. You can also be assured that your group will be well looked after here!

Absolutely deliscious food. The best Indian I've had in the UK. In particular, the peshwari naan was just so tasty, the chicken shashlik was cooked perfectly, and the paneer mahkni was super tasty with a really nice texture of the paneer.

Honestly one of the best curries I've ever had. Service was fantastic, each dish was explained perfectly and adjusted to our preference. Local ingredients, well cooked succulent meats. Catered well for all dietary requirements of our group. We will definitely visit again.

First visit after promising ourselves we would book after a friend recommended. Service was really good with just the right amount of attention and the food was interesting and well presented and tasted really good. I have knocked a star off as the table we were given was awful - very close to a table of 4 where we could hear their entire conversation and on the other side right next to the stairs to the kitchen. I wouldn’t have minded if the restaurant had been busy but it wasn’t and the better tables which I presumed had been booked sat empty so I can only assume these are kept by in case regular customers drop by. I would return but would not accept a rubbish table again.

They took really good care of us and surprised as at the end with a complimentary cocktail as a birthday celebration. Absolutely amazing place. The service was brilliant, greeted well at the entrance, took our coats. Staff when taking orders had excellent knowledge of the menu and made expert recommendations. You could get a curry cheaper elsewhere but the food would be nowhere near as good. On the recommendation of the Staff I went with a lamb dish and it was perfectly cooked. If you are in Oakham you will be mad not to visit.

Came here for Christmas day lunch, the food was amazing. The whole day was really nice and relaxed, made us a drink on arrival then sat down for our dinner. We ate at our own pace, nothing rushed gave us time inbetween courses too. Will be coming back very soon with our family from America. Thank you Sarpech for a wonderful day. 😀😀

I recently organised a dinner here for 12 people and the whole experience was superb. Adi and his team were wonderful, efficient and courteous, with service second to none. The food was excellent and was enjoyed by everyone. Highly recommended.

We had been wanting to try this place for ages and yesterday went over for early doors. We hadn’t booked & there were a couple in front of us asking for a table as they had just turned up in spec too. They were fully booked and just mentioned we could sit as a four ball if we didn’t mind. All of us agreed and had the most memorable night, it was wonderful, the first time there for us all and the food was fantastic, excellent quality and the staff were so friendly & professional. Will definitely be going back, we loved it and will be one of our favourite treats for a night out. Strongly recommend it.

My family and I have eaten here a few times so we knew how fantastic the food is. I booked a table for 10 people ( family travelled down) on Christmas day and had the set menu but we could also order our preferred currys (which we did). We were certainly not disappointed, the staff did not rush us and let us enjoy each course, giving us plenty of time throughout (5 courses altogether) and considering how busy the restaurant was our drinks were constantly flowing. The curry was amazing (which we already knew) but we also tried certain foods that I would not normally order and so glad I did as again tasted delicious. I would just like to thank the amazing staff for making our Christmas day a fabulous one and your hospitality was 100% throughout. We are already looking forward to December 2022. Had a really nice evening meal at Sarpech this Sunday. We all went for the special Sunday Thali (a collection of small curry dishes/appetizers) - you can choose from a wide variety of different curries and we all enjoyed them all greatly. Delicious! Traditional cuisine with a menu full of Indian dishes. We really enjoyed it, very tasty and colourful served by a friendly and professional staff. It’s one of our Oakham’s favourites when attending Global Birdfair.
