Very busy with a wonderful ambience, staff couldn't do enough to help and the food is pretty much the best of any Indian restaurant we've been to in this country. 5 star!!

I'm extremely frustrated with my recent order. The lamb biryani was a disaster – uncooked rice and lamb made it inedible. The customer service was equally appalling, with a service person who seemed more interested in being rude than addressing the issues. This experience was far from acceptable, I hope this feedback aids in enhancing the overall dining experience for future customers.

Didn't enjoy my food at all, The rice had more flavour than the Tikka curry and the meat in the keema nan was in one lump! Might as well of had a nan and a spicy meatball on the side!

We ordered for chicken makhni, Cheese naan, paratha, raita, onion bhaji & papadom. Quantity was good. Worst food ever i had last night. Chicken makhni, cheese naan and paratha is too sweet. We were unable to have the food. It's fully waste of money (£30.40). And sure, never ever think to order food from The Red Rose Tandoori Restaurant. Pathetic....

Ordered later in the evening, arrived within an hour. But the rice was cold, the korma and kashmir were warm. The naans tasted burnt, and the onion bahjis were very very greasy. The food tasted okay but not the best I've had. And unfortunately very early next morning we were both being ill from both ends, were fine until we ate from here.

Came here with my partner for a late evening meal, quick polite service, mouth watering food and fair prices. Really enjoyed my meal and time here 10/10 would recommend and will be returning soon! 5 ⭐️

For the price this place offers a good value Indian meal. It is below national average price. The service is very good with the server keen to discuss the menu and dishes with you. Service was prompt. Restaurant was clean and modern. The food was good portion size. I enjoyed the food however I do feel the tikka was chewy and my naan burnt. I’m not sure I would return as there are many other Indians to explore in the area. By no means a bad meal. Just not the best but represents good value for money. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Very disappointed Price charged was different to there website menu (prices not updated) Rice missed off order. Korma was OK, biryani was not good, pakura ok, lamb dipiaza was not good and I thought peshwari naan was coconut and sultanas but 3 peshwari naans and none tasted of or hint of coconut.

Always a great experience whenever I go to the red rose, have never had a problem with food, the food is ways great, the staff are always very friendly and the order is always quick and of good quality. It's the only Indian I go to. I wouldn't recommend any other Indian takeaway than The Red Rose.

Best Indian/Bangladeshi restaurant in Basingstoke. Had a takeaway last night and excellent chicken jalfriaze and chicken reyzala with samosas. Lovely extra touches of onion mix, salad, dressing and a free coke.

I have worked at The Red Rose for over 2 years now, both as a driver and a waiter. I know the restaurant and food to be clean and looked after. After 25 years, there is the same Boss in charge. He flaps about and panics when it starts to get busy, but this is because he cares 110% about getting the food to the customers asap, and he knows what he's doing! Same as for the rest of the staff. They're regular long term staff that are well trained and skilled, and always go out of there way to make your visit as nice as possible. The staff are always up for a laugh and joke. They're highly professional, but of you crack a joke with them, they'll join in and won't ignore it 😁 they're good fun and enjoyable to work with. Currently, as of early October 2021, there are only *Non-alcoholic* drinks on the menu.

We used to love going to the Red Rose but now they have not renewed the alcohol license, it is not the same. Tonight we ordered a takeaway for collection told it would be ready at 7pm, but was not ready until 7:30 and when we opened it it was very greasy. Not sure if the chef has changed but not as enjoyable anymore.

Food is good but very sweet not sure what they add in their curries to make it sweet , which completely reduces the authentic taste . The service was good and quick . They don't serve alcohol due to they licence not been renewed . Soft drinks are very reasonably priced and the main course. The owner should take it seriously to improve the authentic taste of Indian cuisine.

Disgrace to Indian cuisine, let leaving in every way. Tandoori chicken was an abomination; Indians would be turning in their grave to receive sweet soggy chicken (disgrace to call it Tandoori chicken).

Ordered a takeaway. My daughter collected it. When home one of the mains was not there. Phoned up and was told its not on the receipt and wasn't ordered or the man who took the order misheard. The order was 2 mains, 2 rice, 2 naans, 2 poppadoms. Who would order 2 of everything with only one main??? So my daughter went back to collect the main. NO apology at all. Also one of the naans was a keema naan. There was zero meat in there. There was an extremely small amount of something but definitely no meat and hardly anything in there at all of whatever it was. Also their naans have shrunk! Very disappointed and will not be going back there. Such a shame because pre covid I used to dine in there a lot and have takeaways. Now I don't dine in there at all because you can't purchase wine/beer.

Very nice prawn Madras actually tasted like Madras I use to get in tooting in London so whoever is cooking it please keep up this tasty dish. Had sag aloo with it n rice very nice combo👍

Would not recommend we order food at 20:58 was supposed to arrive within 45 minutes we called one hour after we then received are food witch was freezing cold we tried to get in contact for a refund or a new order but instead of helping they blocked are number would never use nor recommend again

It was the worst Indian food we ever had! For all the vegetarian curries, they have just made it too sweet and full of just one thing which was green peas.. be it Matar Mushroom or Matar Paneer or Mixed Veg!! Total waste of money!! And we are never going to think of ordering food from Red Rose again..

Was once great but has went down hill food portions very smaller than before and not great tasting sorry won't be using this take away again.

Went for a Curry with a couple of workmates. Very good food & reasonably priced. Would deffo recommend !!

Chicken Jalfrezi had no red peppers or chillies this is really rubbish

Disappointed to say the least. Ordered a plain chicken curry/veg curry it was completely flavourless and watery. Poppadoms, lime pickle and rice was fine no issues. Delivery on time and price is very reasonable. They really need to work on their main dishes I won't be ordering again.

For the last ten years, I have begged the Red Rose for the Lamb Parthia recipe, off course they have refused. Why would they pass on perfection. So I am resigned too another 10 years of ordering this magnificent food. Long live the neat ten years.

Foods are not very tasty. Service is average Easy access Reasonable price.

The food was delicious and was nice and hot on delivery, so full of flavour, and at a really reasonable price, will definitely recommend and will be ordering again soon. Deliver guy was really nice too, very friendly, also apologised for the wait but we didn’t wait too long. We really enjoyed it.

Asked for authentic dish from their cultural home, OMG one of the best curries I have had, not sweet like UK restaurants usually serve up. More of this please... fantastic!

The restaurant is too crammed together inside so I order online and food is quickly delivered friendly ppl food always piping hot nicely packed I am very happy.

Come here often and have been coming for years. Beautiful food, friendly staff and great value for money. Highly recommend and cannot fault anything.
